At first i knew it was a movie but with the opening it confused me and just felt like a very long OVA character designs and animation were decent, music was great to be honest if i hadn't known there was a source i'd think this was advertisement for HoneyWorks lol in fact i had been listening to the ost before i even knew about this movie. story in it's self was pretty bad maybe if it was a actually tv series it would be better so 7/10 since i did enjoy it,weird we have another one coming out near the end of the year as well. |

Well that was uhh... not very good. I'm not even going to remember this movie half an hour from now, I'm already starting to forget it. But at least I got to see some PS4 advertisements and listen to the songs I've heard in osu for the thousandth time so it wasn't all bad. Seriously, I can't believe I was looking forward to this movie and this is what it turned out to be. 4/10 |

This movie wasn't really good, the story focused on too may characters when it should've focused on one storyline, Natsuki and Yuu. I mean the other characters weren't needed at all, it would've been better if it were solely them. I thought the story was bland and generic for the most part, but what hooked me into it was they were 'childhood friends'. Other than that, it was nothing special. I gave it a 4/10, because it didn't have much to offer other than the art. |

Nice characters and a winner childhood friend!!!!! The romance was at places fast-paced and the other couples were breezed through especially HarukixMiou. This was my most lovable pair, but it wasn't given much screentime, well there was some post-credits artwork. Good movie, certainly enjoyable and cliche but good characters with a 'definite' romance. |

Pretty good movie, Definitely felt very Shoujo'ish but it was still sweet. The fluff was great, Insert songs along with the visuals were awesome. Those were my favorite parts of the movie Akari best girl. Loved that bed hair scene <3 Mochizuki and his inner thoughts were pretty amusing and the train scene with him giving up his seat for those random girls was really really nice. That was one my favorite scenes in the entire show. Fairly fast paced movie though in terms of romance progression, The Natsuki and Yuu romance was pretty nice. I'm glad that the little drama in the middle which I felt was kinda mediocre didn't result in some kind of long depression phase cause that would have sucked. Confession at the end was really sweet, Liked that. Really wish that we could have seen more of Mochizuki x Akari though, Felt they were the best pairing. Hope we get more of them in the second movie cause I feel that would be more interesting to see. Sad that Haruki x Miou was sidelines completely, Hope that they are covered in the 2nd movie as well though the poster for the 2nd movie suggests otherwise. Natsuki getting caught off guard at the end was really cute and funny. 7/10 , Please give me Akarai x Mochizuki in the second movie. |

The animation was nice, but the story/romance was just bad. The characters weren't very likable or were totally irrelevant. I like how the only character who wasn't completely a bitchmade cuck the entire time, and tried to improve himself was just used and basically told to get fucked lmao. |

Art and sound were good but these are the only things I enjoyed in this movie ;_; (I knew it was from Honeyworks so the songs were really nice) I did not have high expectations for this movie but it managed to dissapoint me even so lol Story and romance were just bad..... (and I'm a sucker of romance anime...!) 5/10. (Hopefully we'll get to see more of Haruki and Miou, they barely got any screetime lol) |

I enjoyed this movie. Though I have a few nitpicks and questions. I didn't like that they left Mio and Haruka in the air. I mean it was pretty clear they liked each other, but why have that scene where the teacher tells him to tell her before it's too late and then not follow through? Honestly having so many romances felt a little much. Yu and Natsuki & Mocchi and Akira would have been enough if you aren't going to finish out the plot of the 3rd couple. Why was Natsuki always wearing sweatpants? I mean I can guess why, she's a tomboy, but when she goes on the "date" she dressed girly. It would have been nice to see who Yu's sister was going to give the note too. I assume it was Natsuki's brother, but I wish they wouldn't have left it so vague. Well glad to see Yu/Natsuki & Akira/Mocchi get together. Also while the songs were nice, it got annoying there were so many at times where it was unneeded. Well hopefully the unanswered questions will be solved in Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o. ~Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai~. It appears to be a sequel and will be following others from the first movie. Koyuki will probably find someone new. Hopefully Yu & Natsuki's brother and sister will get together because it seems like they will be the main 2. And then the poster shows a few more new people. Maybe we will get to see Haruka and Mio get together as well. |

I loved this movie... These straight forward pure-hearted confession anime are always so refreshing. I'm not a connoisseur of shoujo manga, but as a lover of anime in general, and a lover of love and innocence, shows like these such great healing anime. When life gets you down, watch something pure. There was a lot going on, and plenty unfinished, but that's not new for romance anime, at all. Plus it's clear that this isn't the only movie for the series. Lelouch0202 said: This. I thought Miou and Haruki would end up as the first established couple, but it turned out to be Akari and Souta. The interactions between them were adorable. I'm proud of you, Mochizuki! I'm sad there wasn't enough time for Miou and Haruki's relationship, only the ending credits. I don't usually see couples who confess later on after high school. Nothing was going to stop Natsuki and Yuu from getting together except themselves. I hope Koyuki ends up happy in the future. There's the sequel movie coming up, but I don't know what his role will be. All I saw were the Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu videos beforehand so there ended up being little surprises sprinkled throughout the movie. Overall, 7/10. I wonder what Natsuki's brother and Yuu's sister will do in the sequel. |

Watching this was really awkward, or perhaps it was the peer pressure effect in front of the screen maybe? Definitely some food for thought, but it's not necessarily the most uhm......exciting premise or anything. Now I feel a bit bad for semi-bashing it while I was watching. For my own opinion, first of all, it's rather short, just barely over an hour long (though it felt pretty long...until it ended and I was like, "that's it?". As an addition to that, it feels like they left a lot of "dangling threads", like it's only half (or less) of the story. Which now that we know there is going to be another movie it seems deliberate, but it's still eh. Not necessarily the last point, but I felt that the flow of the story was kind of awkward, the transitions between scenes was rather uneven-ish. |

I wasn"t expecting much (well not exatly true, I had seen some honeyworks cip and really liked them so I was glad and curious to see them animated) but I wasn't expecting a lot or a real strucutred movie from a one hour movie! Then I saw the meh meh animation and stopped hoping anything : if they didn't work the animation, neither the time, they probably haven't worked the miwing of the clips. I thought I was right but then I watched a few minutes and found out a strange triangle (quadiralatere) of love and it got interesting! BUT it was disapointing and I couldn't get in while the clips are great. So I ended up disapointing from something I didn't expect much at first -> sad x) Still the stories are great and I wanna see the second movie! I |

Hm.. The story was alright. Pretty predictable tbh. Quite unoriginal and very corny at times. Characters were decent. Animation could've been better. The artstyle and soundtrack was quite nice tho. At the very least, despite all these things, it was still enjoyable to watch. It did feel a bit rushed, but then again, there's not really that much you can do with 1 hour I guess. My favorite pairing was easily Akarin x Mochizuki. Also, why on earth is the main girl wearing sweatpants under a skirt? That minor detail was a bit irritating throughout the movie tbh lol. Overall, 6/10 |

The song is Byoumei Koi Wazurai and the one sung in the movie is by sana. And seriously, no one hasn't commented on the fact that sana is animated and in the film. So glad for her, and her voice is really cute. She looks really cute as well in her outfit (or uniform). And the rest of Honeyworks are there as well (I think, not sure what their avatars look like). Sanapriiiii <3 For anyone who's interested in the insert songs: - Nichiyoubi no Himitsu (CHiCO and sana) - Byoumei Koi Wazurai (sana) - Destiny (YURiCa) - Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu Not sure who sang the last part, can't recognize the voice. OP and ED are listed in the MAL page. the one who sang Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu in the movie is Natsuki's V.A., Haruka Tomatsu |

Stereotypical best friends falling in love, denying and eventually becoming a couple. Best boy was absolutely used, poor Koyuki. I kind of had high hopes for the plot but like most shoujo series/movies/plots, this was absolute cancer. A reminder to myself why I hate most shoujo plots. I was hoping something funny like Motete Dousunda something to leave me in stitches but I would rather punch my computer screen for all the regurgitated shoujo shit this one spewed. |

it is 10/10 for me. Honestly though, i did not base it on the story nor the animation but its just my pure reaction on the overall of movie itself. Given how the anime nowadays are, romance specifically, this one is like back to the classics: Childhood Friends, Fake Confession, Friends, Love Triangle, Classmates and Neighbors.Everything is sooo cliche but because of exactly how this concept is soooo used made it unique in its own way. It was really nice that it was shown these days where ecchi and fanservice is a huge genre in the market. ugh. Love it! ReallyyY! Thanks to Honeyworks and the Mangaka! Superb! ;))) As for the couples though, yep, Miou and Haruki is my best! Demn! thinking that they were the one who's actually established but not and went through the hardship of LDR? *sigh* but hey, the future scenes worked out for me. it would be really the best though if they would have a separate sequel on that. ;)) as for Souta and Akari? they're going there we know. Lastly, for Yuu and Natsuki? i think im good with their end. but of course, more would still be better. :) THE SONGS WERE 10/10. I think no one would be able to question that. :) |

Man, the main pair is so annoying and so much cringe! I prefer the side pairs a lot more, even though they seem kinda easy to me, like it just works out smoothly, every pair likes each other like it was a natural thing to do. MVP of this movie has to be Ayase, a guy wanting to change himself, went ahead and gave himself a chance and accepted the result. He's also such a bro for pushing Mochizuki to take the next step. I hope things will work out with him and the sister in the sequel movie, I honestly don't want it to be with the annoying little brother. |

Just watched it and the loved the designs of the characters. The art style of this anime is very similar to a different anime I've watched before but I can't seem to remember which one it was. It's not any of the other works of this work's character designer either. Any idea would be greatly appreciated! |

It was okay for what it was I guess, nothing special but still good. The story was just average though. And the boys would have gained a lot if they got better characterization other than being obvious tropes. Girls were mostly fine but it still would be better is there was something else going on other than exams. Maybe end this with their graduation would be better? But have to say both Natsuki and Yuu had nice chemistry. Still, I honestly hated Ayase, he was the worst (kinda throwaway and needless) character of this movie and the way he acted after the concert felt so forced (to invoke the drama). I also didn't like how he was giving advices to Souta when he has achieved nothing (the same applies to Haruki too). Now I wonder what the next movie from sibling POV would be like. 6/10 |

This movie was so lovely! I see why Natsuki said her confession at the beginning of the film was a joke - Yuu didn't reply asap, which I think would have made anyone nervous in Natsuki's shoes! XD Throughout the movie, I enjoyed seeing the childhood moments between Yuu and Natsuki. I was surprised to learn that Souta is also their childhood friend, which I wish was made more obvious. :P It was nice to see all six of them ponder on their respective romances -> Yuu wondered who Natsuki likes, Akari didn't like anyone (yet!) and thought falling in love must be nice, Miou thought it was confusing since she and Haruki are not officially dating, Haruki regretted his lack of courage when he protected Miou, Souta wondered who Akari likes, and Natsuki wondered how much longer she needed to practice her confessions with Yuu... It was very nice to see such innocent, pure feelings! >< I enjoyed seeing Natsuki's various confessions, like when she confessed to Yuu while he was walking on the bridge and she came out of nowhere rowing the boat, that time when she rapped... xD Natsuki was so creative! But truly, a genuine confession is best! :) It was nice to see Souta gain the courage to speak to Akari after 2 years! It was nice to see that Akari was giving Souta a chance, seeing as they went on their cake dates. :-) I felt bad for Koyuki... Although, I'm glad Koyuki had no regrets!! The songs were all so precious!! >< Although I would ideally not fall in love with a childhood friend who lives next door, I'm glad it worked out for Yuu and Natsuki. :-) He did say "I love you" after the ending credits, yay! XD |

That confession by Natsuki was very emotional and very sudden that even didn't expect it. But his answer though was anticlimactic and killed the mood, although he did he loves at the end of the credits but it was vague. Mochizuki's confession to Akari seems to working in his favor by being invited to cake shop date, I love those two. As for Haruki and Miou I already saw what happened to them and it was beautiful to watch, I also feel bad for yuki I think he deserved Natsuki than Yuu. I loved the music and the animation was pretty decent, but I felt Natsuki's confession was one sided. Anyway its 7/10 from me and will watch the sequel. |

Nothing special; like ppl already said, it's a generic plot. Still pretty cute though. They prolly should've made it 2 hours to try and smooth out a lot of the parts between the pairings ;/ it felt rushed and sloppy. I wish the other couples aside from the main had more screentime and progress. 6/10. I liked it, but it could've been executed better. Also, it bothered me the whole time she was wearing stupid sweatpants underneath a fucking SKIRT Dx ugh. Way to ruin fashion fr. |

The arts really beautiful, really enjoyed it. Glad to hear some of my favorite Honeyworks songs in it too, they also really blend and fit with the scenes. Nice lighthearted romance with many cute and adorable moments of confession. Well it mainly focused on YuuxNatsuki pair, with some moments of SoutaxAkari and HarukixMiou pairs. Can't wait to see the movie sequel and TV series that might focused on HarukixMiou pairing. Absolute 10/10 for me, love honeyworks XD. |

As a HoneyWorks fan, I’m more than pleased with this Movie! It wasn’t trying to be complicated or anything of the sort and got right into business from the very start unlike the tv series adaption which sort of dragged on despite it only being 6 episodes or so, thus glad it’s actually ‘just’ hardly an hour. And the Sound Department totally blew it out of the park, loved it! Also, I’ve been meaning to watch these two movies ever since I binged the tv series, so I’m glad I finally got around to it, first half anyway, and enjoyed it! Yuu and Natsuki were the main couple on focus and it was great, their interactions in particular were just gold! Yuu is just too good and I’m honestly amazed at how he managed to keep his feelings concealed throughout whereas Natsuki is the usual Genki girl bringing forth most of the comedy of the show. Moreover, they are ‘Osananajimi’, or Childhood friends, so everything just fell perfectly into place for them to reach their youth climax. I feel a little bad for Koyuki though, he really was a good person but he took things a little too far sadly earlier during their little night walk. As for the other couple, there was a lot of Aida x Haruki moments which were very nostalgic of sorts. Really appreciated that! And then there was Akari x Mochizuki which was intriguing but far too shoujo-like imo. Some glorious comedy moments especially from Mochizuki’s side though, Yuki Kaji totally hit the Mark here. A little bit of Hina x Kotorou too but that’ll be the focus for the other movie, so I’m looking forward to that! Koyuki seems to be the primary love interest for Hina but I’m sure it’ll change in time. Meanwhile, Haruki’s brother gets hardly any time sadly, I hope to see more of him in the sequel movie. As such, a generous 8/10! HoneyWorks music gives it a little boost from a 7 to a 7.5 alone, so there’s that. Edit: Forgot to mention this bit. After credit scene was so sweet, they each got a taste of their counterparts struggles xD! |
