Looks like they'll do the Kosaku parts justice. Seeing Kira trying to adjust to his new life is one of the highlights of DiU.

So Kira is acting in a way that will not cause anyone trouble in his new life with his wife and kid. And he's making just newly acquired wife fall in love with him. The person whose identity he took over sure wasn't a good husband.

And Kira's daddy is dead but his soul hasn't moved on and he's been looking over his son all this time. His camera trick was quite dangerous. And Jotaro trapped him in another picture. I knew that the ghost was trying to trick Okuyasu and Koichi into freeing him. He put up an act to get out and was successful.

And they find another bow and arrow hidden in the house. And this is the one which brought out Killer Queen. And there are possibly even more of these things around.

first jojo episode i disliked, truly disliked (disclaimer before you get triggered, i didn't read the manga or care that any problems with this episode are also in the manga, when you're adapting something to a different medium you should have the ability to fix any problems the original material may or may not had) on with the bitching

Okuyasu was stupid as hell letting Kira's dad escape, i mean fucking braindead.

Star platinum the world could have saved them not only before they were trapped in the room (as soon as danger arose they Jotaro could have taken them immediately out of the room)

and when Kira's dad escaped Jotaro could AGAIN used star platinum the world to grab him and re-trap him.

the one liner was kinda shit, it was a cool setup with very weak payoff

and the ending was rushed, as there was practically no tension.

Ok,let me help you with your complaints.Firstly,Okuyasu is always a braindead idiot, but this is his character he didn't do something out of character and even Koichi was getting fooled by Kira's dad, because of his claustrophobic nature.Secondly, you fail to understand AHF's power. When the camera shoots, the place, which is being shown in the photo is a visible, but different dimension. You cannot enter or escape,if the stand user lurks in the photo. Also, the user might move inside the photo easily, regardless of the timestops, but this is mostly an assumption.Thirdly, how stopping time for 2-3 seconds can help you catch a flying photo.Jotaro didn't know, where the photo was, when it escaped and when he found it flying,he couldn't catch it.Remember Star Platinum is a close-ranged Stand.2-3 seconds are just not enough.Fourthly, yeah I agree, but JoJo is famous for its stupid quotes and punchlines.Fifthly,I agree it was a little rushed, because they were running out of time so they had to skip some content. There was tension, but it could have been handled better.

that is completely and utterly irrelevant to the fact that jotaro at least SHOULD have tried to use it, at least TRIED to escape. im not saying he would could or should have been successful in his escape attempts, fucking philistines.

Due to spoilers up until this point in part 4, I always kinda knew what to expect but this episode threw me for an absolute loop...holy cow I was screaming at my laptop screen. Yeah I knew about the face/identity swap, but I had no idea Kira was straight up gonna waltz into a dysfunctional family unit.

Definitely a new take on things, we've never really had any outsiders thrown into the mix in any past arcs like this. Sure we can guess the effects, and sometimes we even see it...but normal people don't usually get that concentration or voice in the story so it's really great to see!
Now Shinobu is actually falling for her "husband" not knowing that he's a serial killer with a hand fetish...question is, would she even care if she knew?!

It's kinda poetic actually...she's falling for the extraordinary, the risk- the very thing that Kira despises because it ruins his quiet life. Suddenly, her husband isn't boring and ordinary anymore, and that's something Kira tries so adamantly to be (to no avail of course).

Didn't think we'd get another ghost either...his ability kinda reminded me of Hermit Purple for a second there. Kira's dad is unsurprisingly just as warped as his son but I couldn't help but at least identify with him a little. No matter the evils Kira commits, he is still that man's son so he's gonna do all he can to protect him. Things are definitely looking awesome and seems like we'll be getting some quality character development for this villain!

I hate waiting though!! ;_;

You said it yourself,Okuyasu is THAT stupid to do something that he would mock, but in the manga the beams sounded like they were cracking so it was more believable.

How can you escape?Josuke bumbed into an invisible wall and Crazy Diamond's punches did nothing.Stopping time would only tire Jotaro and delay their inevitable deaths.

About the photo yes Jotaro stagnated for a moment and didn't catch the photo but still Kira's father would have escaped because of the string and the advantage of moving between holes.Destroying a house would only destroy other clues about Kira.

Everybody must stop spouting all the time the timestop ability. It isn't as much handy as it seems to be,especially in JoJo.

Yeah, Kira is a romantic villain. Now I can totally see him being my favourite JOJO villain, even topping Dio & FV.
Looking forward to his new life with a new family and a "true" relationship. As an anime-only spectator of DiU, I think Shinobu (I guess it's his new wife's name) will probably end up dying though.
Regarding the battle with Kira's father, Jotaro saved the day with wit. Nice Move~ Okuyasu, I like you, but you really aren't smart. That's obvious bluffing. Kira's father loves his son and protects him in an incorrect way, but it's heartwarming to see that.
Anyway, very interesting plot, love this ep. Can't wait to see more "romance". 5/5
I was not sure if I would love DiU as much as SC, but thank god, these last several episodes confirmed it.

Is it just me or does this eps is better animated than SHA part 1?? Thought we would get some "quality" like the surface episode, glad we got what we've got.

I really like the beginning with shinobu and the ost, CD when??

p.s: i love how people thought stopping time is the answer for everything. And i love how people nitpick things, especially on jojo

I feel like he's going to try to kill her because the part where he was cutting his finger nails and she saying he already cut them the day before. Ofc I also feel like Jotaro, Josuke and the others are going to find out where he is before he kills her.

I can also sort of see her helping out later if what I said above doesn't happen, but she might be killed off and plus he'd have a better chance of getting caught for his killing if he had a partner like they said while Jotaro and the others were in Kira's old house.

Nah, you are not getting it at all.
Okuyasu IS stupid. It is stressed times and times again. His brother said it, his enemies said it. Even HE recognizes to be dumb. Araki can't design him with donkey ears and a shirt with "Idiot" written on it to make it more clear. He is dumb, period. He has occasional glimpses of intelligence, but those are very very rare.
About Jotaro, you are misunderstanding that character as well. Jotaro is extremely calculating, as he already showed when fighting in the tailor's shop. He doesn't do ANYTHING without contemplating accurately the situation. Also, using Za Warudo is very tiring for him, therefore he avoids it unless it's absolutely necessary. He probably realized very quickly that they were blocked, therefore he avoided wasting energy by trying something useless.
It's not even 2-3, but 1-2 seconds. Jotaro himself stressed it several times. He cannot do it longer as he did in Stardust Crusaders anymore, because he didn't train for a long time, therefore he's out of shape.

dude, i'm talking about the show, they probably enforce it a lot more in the manga and say it a lot more, establish it more with more focus on his extreme stupidity with more thought bubbles about his mental retardation, but IN THE SHOW, a medium that's supposed to adapt the material so it stands on it's own without the manga, i think you're mixing between them in your head, because i didn't read the manga yet, and there were not really many instances of enemies calling Okuyasu a retard, or him EVER doing something this stupid, he might be stupid, i'll give it to you that he isn't smart but he isn't a hypocrite.

DUDE, Jotaro's current motive for being there is the bow and arrow, he tells jouske "jouske, be careful!" then seeing him taking the arrow. you can't not see how this is wrong in any way not to use za wordo right? he isn't tired, he didn't use za wordo in many hours and didn't even try it. it feels like "the bird forgets to fly" moment, and it's shit writing/directing.

i did notice that, not that he's completely braindead beyond the level of speech, he wasn't a complete handicap, he didn't have his subtitles misspelled, he didn't try to open a door with his buttcheeks, he wasn't THAT dumb at ANY point. i noticed he wasn't the brightest of the bunch, but come on, even the most hardcore jojo fans can agree that the use of stupidity to make contrivances is inherently stupid right? oh who am i talking to, it's pointless. Nope, it was a rushed episode. This is a usual consequence with anime adaptations for sound logic/logistics to be thrown out the window in favor of adapting a set amount of content

1. No. It wouldn't have been 3 seconds. Jotaro said in the BEGINNING OF THE FUCKING PART that he can only stop time for one second now. Time moves the same as it does here in the Jojoverse, it's just that it's hard to adapt time into anime. Stopping time wouldn't have done nothing, especially when it can actually kill Jotaro.

2. Thinking that Tonio's food was okay to eat.

i'll concede to two of these things, Kira* get away wasn't half as retarded as the letting the dad go
as for the other two i don't remember or honestly care

about 1. STAR PLATINUM CAN CATCH BULLETS, BULLETS! also, in the rat thing or whatever it was more than one second, and if it was. one jojo second is like five in the real world. so it was plenty.

Ugh I hate this trope with this guys wife (being better than the guy he replaced). Especially since she's falling for him. I hope she dies a painful death

Its really not that hard to be a better husband than Kosaku
Tying his shoes is probably the most exciting thing that man has ever done

Oh boy that grandfather ghost is actually also a stand user oO pretty sick to be honest, and even more interesting is that there's a second arrow and bow? Or is one a fake? Really great development in general! Looking forward to see what happens next!

Can't believe Jotaro left the photo in the room with those two...damn! Still enjoyed the episode and I'll forgive Oyakusu.

Why can he only stop time for a second, now? Not sure if I missed something. Do they explain it later, if they do I can wait. I've been binging the series and I'm hooked.

Any muscle will weaken if you don't use it after a while. Jotaro stopped using time stop, because unlike DIO, he doesn't have regenerative abilities, and putting stress on the heart isn't a good idea.

In Part 6 Jotaro's time stop goes back to Part 3 levels, but Star Platinum's durability goes down.

Thanks I can accept that. Just wanted to be sure I didn't miss anything.

I guess a father's love knows no bounds (be it death or his son's psychopathy).
I loved this horror story style (with the old belief of photography capturing your soul) but the parts about multiple Stand-revelating bows/arrows and the fact the father got a stand out of nowhere who worked through death would have been too hard to swallow without the ambiance.

Kira's first days in his new life were funny. "His" wife sure didn't spend much time with her husband recently... or how wouldn't she see the difference between the two bodies?

Huh so there's more than one bow and arrow set!

Kira settling into his new surroundings just fine

Can't say it bodes well for the cat though
I'm Bruneian and I like anime. And Manchester United. And fat cats.

This is ridiculous. Jotaro defeated Dio. DIO!. And now he's dealing with the ghost of an overprotective dad inside a picture riding a goddamn pigeon.
