| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well it was pretty much as the previews and stuff they advertised. I'm not impressed by Kohana though. Seems a bit naive for the main girl and we even had one guy saving her from a fall. As far as the guys goes, they remind me of Uta Prince in terms of designs. There really is magic in this series as well. Well I'll give it a few more episodes, kinda felt meh so far. The background art style is nice though. In the meantime, I want to know more about why that Teika guy declared Kohana as his enemy. |

| 8.23 rating? How does anyone rate something with one episode... So let's see. I'm hearing Mikaze Ai (same voice actor as well), seeing Masato in the blue-haired stoic guy who does calligraphy, and blonde guy is basically Ren. MC is a new girl who doesn't seem skilled in the magical arts (and we're seeing saving already in the first episode). And the cold opening basically tells us that Kohana will make all the guys cooperate in one group for a competition, when there can only be one Artista Prince? To top it off, this is a multimedia project and one of the companies involved is Broccoli, the same company that made Utapri. No wonder this really reminds me of Utapri. Let's see if future episodes will bring something new to the table. |

| Tokiya Clone (Ume) is... interesting. The Engrish kinda made me cringe but his singing was not too bad. Masato Clone (KENN) is next episode. I'm interested in his character the most. The ED is nice. It's not really on par with Utapri but definitely as good as Kamiaso songs. Overall, it was really cutesy and gave me utapri s1 feels!! I'm really interested in seeing the rest of the characters. Also, another thing to note, the art and animation are SPOT ON. No noticeable flaws at all, for me. That's pretty great. |

| My first thought while watching the episode was 'Maybe I should drop it'. It got a little interesting later on but I believe it won't be an anime that would have a strong impact. |
| A little cliche, but... that was good for an otome anime. O_O She didn't randomly interact with all the boys first episode. Story is boring thus far, pretty generic, but I like the character designs. I mean the main girl is pretty bland in personality, but she actually reacts and thinks (monologues). And has already been declared an enemy of the main boy lolol. Also, I want to be called senpai by Hibiki too haha. Already got a fave. <3 The wood sculpting dude seems like a good personality too. :D |
| Cringed for half of the episode then the line "your my enemy pops up" sweet... why though? Didn't he say that they pick a female and a male to walk up the stairs... Or is it the "parents were rivals" so they have to be rivals card. or is the king actually a female? |
| Um, it was okay, I guess. I mean, I mainly watch these kinda shows for the man-candy, anyway. That "you're my enemy" line by the tsundere guy got me interested, though. I'm indifferent towards the female lead so far. I like her roommate better. She's also prettier than Kohana I love short hair on females As for the guys, I'd already watched the CM way before the adaptation got announced. Best boy order (first impressions, obviously): 1- KENN's character (emo guy): Best character design among the guys. I have a soft spot for soft-spoken, reserved, and quirky boys. I'm looking forward to his respective episode and how the female lead will help him break out of his shell. 2- Umehara's character (tusndere prince): I simply cannot dislike most tsundere male characters. He's kinda cocky but we've already been exposed to his "sweet" side this episode. I like him. 3- Eguchi's character (freshman): SENPAI. 'Nuff said. And them eyebrows. Hnng <3 4- Ono's character (Hinata Shoyo's lookalike): He bakes. He also seems bubbly and fun to be around. I can't say much about the other two. Blondie's Engrish cracks me up though lol. This episode made it clear that he definitely has health problems. Poor thing. Bishounen sparkles/5 |
| First time watching an anime like this, but it was alright. The story doesn't seem off to a great start. The anime was really nice visually though, lotsa bright colors. Maybe her mother and his parents and siblings were something of rivals? Maybe he's being pressured cause of some silly rivalry. Eh. King-dude is such a tsundere. |

| Those Uta-Pri vibes are real, but seeing the setting, not really surprising Umehara's character is certainly husbando for now, even if I feel like I'll like Kenn's character too .... |

| I usually don't care much about recycling, but even in a world of derivatives upon derivatives where even the best anime is derivative of something, this has got to be the very bottom of the food chain. I don't think there was a single original moment in the entire episode. If we judged anime based on nutritional quality, this would be a Twinkie. No, a box of Twinkies: nothing but artificial ingredients and empty calories. I usually watch these shows just for the cute guys, but I can't do this one. |

| oh i quite enjoyed this episode, actually :> the protagonist seems like she could be a good character, and the boys are cute. the 'king' guy may be harsh now, but i'm sure he'll soften up eventually. :p suminomiya is going to be the best boy btw, calling it now. |

Tokiya is def the Tsundere "King" - the black haired & red eyed guy (don't know his name, sorry), and like UtaPri, Haruka at first didn't know how to read musical notes - like this show's protagonist, she doesn't have those magical sparkles whatever. Anywaaaays. The art & animation is really good. I'll watch because of the songs. And the hot Mr Tsundere King w/ a cool voice. surprisingly, even though it's another one of those shows like UtaPri, I enjoyed watching the first episode. Looking forward to the next |

| I really like reading comments about new series, but some thing was not right , all the commentators were boys where are all the girls? But now I know.... Anyway I'm not sure about this one it is a little bit generic and it has alot of cliché but maybe it will tern up good |

| "omg kira kira everywhere so pretty" ...please stop. It's only the first episode but I want female MC to stop talking. Her character design is cute though, despite how I'm not finding her very likable so far. Visuals are great, I like the lack of shininess on the hair, idk why, but I like the smoothness of it. The song at the beginning was surprisingly good. As well as the insert song sang by Ume-chan's character, I love his voice btw. Although I could really do without the English :/ For the beginning song too, I wish these lyricists would stop writing random English phrases (looking at you, Tsukiuta). First impression wise, not too into it. It's just intro episode of course, so I'll give it a few episodes. |

| Waaaa after the first ep I already really love this anime. The colors and whole art looks perfect. Oh and I like characters too. At first I was like "cool probably a annoying ginger girl with her harem boys" but now I love that girl. She's a typical dere-dere just like me so. ^^ Her name in my native language sounds just cute and pretty beacuse Kohana <in polish "kochana" but you read polish "ch" like "h" in english so you know "kochana" and "kohana" sounds the same for polish people> means "dear, lovely, loved, beloved" but just for a girl, for a boy it's "kochany". I fell in love with her name. <3 |

| The visuals are sooo beautiful! People are comparing this to Utapri, but I think this has a better concept tho. The arts + magic theme seems a lot more interesting, at least for me o-o But, let's see how they will handle this. Suminomiya best boy already! Gotta love the kuudere guys. The engriiish is real D: (But he is hot omg) I hope Kohana is going to be a nice heroine...so, is she a muggle? XD NO! YOU YOU ARE A WITCH, KOHANA! Buuut, I'm not so sure she made the sparkles tho, it looked like it was the guy o.o ... They are enemies now. So there is going to be some family drama I guess. Best guy next week oh yeeeah *-* Loving it already, sorry but not sorry Utapri. |

| I like this more than UTAPURI this season! I LOVE UME-CHAN's singing voice AND I love that it gives me a Disney feel! I honestly didn't expect to like it this much , haha. Also, it will take me a while to get use to super detailed background while the faces seem kind of derp to me.. but I guess that's their style. I JUMPED SHIP. |

| I am so ****ing gay, they made her be in a position i love, all the top tier students for her and a cool roommate friend. to be honest, even though i gave 5/5 because im all about those positive vibes, i cringed a lot... I couldn't stop laughing though <3 So far the one conflict isn't even a conflict! Beautiful! |

| I'm very simple. I see a cello I like. Red haired dude definitely topping my list so far. Followed by the one that looks like he can cook! Calligraphy guy also seems amusing. Blondie may have been higher on my list if he wasn't a damn flirt. And the painter's design feels a little off. Like is his eyes too small? Too close together? I have no idea but he looks weird. Something's off. That King has issues. The MC is ok except for the part where she fell off the balcony. Are you that dumb? |
