| Awesome!!!! Just like the first season....I really hope there is going to be more.....also I really enjoyed how the MC kinda got humbled by his losses....that is good character development right there. 8/10 so far......if they keep this up, the whole series could easily jump up to a 9. |

| I guess they planned to end this season at that point, so that's why they decided to have only 13 episodes? That's still a nice point to end the season tho. I don't understand people complaining about the pacing, at least fast-paced is much better than over-rushed tbh, they didn't cut things much, and they handled the pacing pretty well, even if it is slightly faster compared to the 1st season.. What is there to complain? 9/10 overall, I'm sure there are enough materials to animate the next arc, or even after that, so really hoping for the next season coming up soon...... There will be next season.... Right...? |

| Unfortunately this season felt rushed and there was an obvious lack of build up before any event. Also many characters are still useless (like Erina) so almost no development. 5/10 and I'm being generous only because i like cooking in general and i enjoyed the first season so i can still watch it. |
| This season was cool and unpredictable especially the Autumn election final. Although it was short i really enjoyed it. At least now Souma has found his speciality and will continue to prosper. I cant wait for season three. |

| Damn it. a single cour wasn't really enough for this series. I want more! I hope there would be a third season and it should be a 2 cour/24 episodes long. Anyway, I'm gonna rate this anime a 7 (or 8?) out of 10 score overall. |

| Still has the feeling from 1st season vibe it gives off. I would say it is probably the best for Summer 2016 anime series in my opinion. Do feel I bit upset with only 13 episodes instead of the 24 episodes which was in season 1. 9/10 |

| I think the main problem of this show was the pacing. They could have easily made 24/25 episodes, but whatever... It wasn't as good as the first season but I still loved it. The battles gave me goose bumps every time and I just love the characters and animation. Overall a very good 2nd season of one of my favourite Animus 8/10 |

| The last episode was good, the later part of this season was better than first bigger part. But overall this season was not better than the first one. It lacked what first part had best and mostly because the story from manga is weaker. This season did not make me want to watch more and more of this anime, just fun to watch anime and nothing more.. 7/10 Hope season 3 will be better. Questions: Why Marui is so dead old? What Ibusaki had to do in his stagiare? It looked like they closed the restaurant. That dish Souma did in last episode was very complex :) |

| Personally I thought it was pretty sweet that Shinomiya-senpai became a chef specializing in French cuisine so he could make his mother happy. I'm glad that everyone at the dorm was able to pass the Stagiaire, it wouldn't be the same if even one of them failed. This season has been almost as amazing as I thought it would be 9/10 |

| Good last episode, nice to see Shinomiya's reasoning to become a French specialist :') It's good that Souma figured out something that he was good at too, with how he's incorporating everything he's learned into his new dish that ended up being featured after all! With a funky name too XD Glad everyone made it through the arc OK! ;3 I especially liked how Shinomiya gave him some personal tips and then was CALLED MASTER LOL!!! Love it XD Though for all the hype for the cooking competition we only saw Souma's dish ... kind of a shame really :( Anyway, this was a good enjoyable second season but IMO just not as good as the first because of the pacing. It felt really rushed sometimes, wish it was a 2-cour like the first :( I mean everything else was still enjoyable like the characters (plus more focus on the side characters too!), music, art and everything, but yeah it just felt a little off at times. 8/10 |
| How the stagiaire course should had went : Yup, there was no way in hell that Shinomiya was going to tell Souma that the main reason he became a chef in french cuisine was to make his mom smile xD I enjoyed the first season a bit more but this was still pretty good. (wished it wasn't rushed though) Hopefully we a two-cour for the next one. 7/10 |

| Ok, overall: awesome 2nd season, better than the first one actually and way more intense imo. I also liked the way the author chose not to make Souma too overpowered and prefered the more human and realistic path for his MC. I was a bit sad that he didn't win the Autumn Election but that gave a very nice touch to the whole series. 9/10 Can't wait for next season. GO YUKIHIRA! |

| Finished it. It was pretty shit if we are to be honest. The first season was much better and that's because the food battles completely brought the show down. It just made the series so silly and repetitive and predictable and idiotic. Funnily enough the last few episodes where there were no Food Wars were the much better episodes and being as how season 1 was more like that then that's why it was better. But yeah I gave it a go, it was just plain stupid. I can understand why people here would like it because this site has a particular demographic but I won't be watching a third season. |

| The series ended with a reasonable sense of closure; Soma now has a new goal which he will work towards to his utmost, and his friends have all broadening their horizons in cooking thanks to the Stagiaire. It was a good place to (hopefully temporarily?) end it. I don't want to rush into the manga right now, because I'd hate having to wait each week for my next fix. This show is a prime example of how something can be so much greater than the sum of its parts (ingredients?). The shounen tropes, ecchi, predictable plotlines, hype generation, all taken separately can be pretty trite or even unwatchable - but Shokugeki no Souma brings it all together and synergises it perfectly to the point where it surpasses even the best of shounen. IT BRINGS OUT ALL THE UMAMI. Bared chest/10. |

| Okay so that was more like Shokugeki no Akira because he got all the spotlight in this season also the first season he won against Souma, so in the end Akira took all the spotlight in result making the show even more pointless, i feel like this is not a sequel more like another beginning for another season if there's more, such a let down after high expectation. Overall score 7/10 |

| Straight 10/10. Even tough this season was really fast paced, I didn't feel like I missed something. I loved S1 and this season just continues that. Same vibe troughout the season. Shokugeki no Soma is now my all time favourite! Not sure if its alongside Clannad or above tough haha Kind of afraid that there will be no Season 3. I feel like they just made this season because they left S1 with a giant cliffhanger and now they had to make up to that with finishing it with this short 13 episodes season. | According to me, the whole series is pretty average overall. It even feels like the manga was written by some aspiring chef. However, I did like the previous season more than this one as it was more interesting and paced. But this one was boring and somewhat rushed. |

| Awww! I really liked how Souma-kun's inspired menu item was recommended at the end :') that was beautiful. And that he's respected by Shino =>u<= YAY~! Definitely grab the #1 seat in the Elite, Souma-kun!!!!!! >:D Super happy he learned so many techniques for French cuisine. Now for the rest of the world's culture and dishes LOLOL. |
| The last 3 episodes were great. The Stagiaire was more interesting than the long, drawn out matches in Prelims and Autumn Election. Even got to learn more about Hisako and Shinomiya. But only 3 episodes? Should've just ended the Autumn Election last season. |
