They have not officially announced that manga is entering final arc or something like that but it certainly looks like it is though!!! and for season 2, it entirely depends on dvd,blu-ray and merchandise sales.... But i really really hope it gets season 2 announcement soon enough though, for me personally manga version of current animation story arc was quite alright, if studio bones wouldn't have taken animation to whole new level i would have felt same too but following arcs like mogami reigen and claw arcs is where it really started getting interesting both in terms of godly character development and story!!! if they wont animate those arcs i see no point in bones picking up license for MPO honestly!!! Yeah, I agree... I heard somewhere that Mob Psycho 100 was going to be a cour anime season... meaning two season but split in between some months but I don't know if that's true. It seems popular.. Merchandise is constantly being sold out. I'd be really happy if they make a season 2!! |

One thing for sure though, anime is not going to get its second cour in following months...current season already covered 50 chapters of total 96!!! where did you get info on merchandize sales BTW!! Total 97. Well I'm hoping for a season 2 anyways, there is still a lot of stuff to animate if they decide on it or not. About the merchandise sales, pretty much all shops that are selling Mob Psycho merch is sold out, I mean literally sold out.I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few things before it was gone in a couple days or so. |
| Isn't it usually the opposite these days? When a manga finishes, it's less likely to get an adaption since there is less reason to advertise it anymore. |

Yes, actually that is Mogami and he was a former psychic who turned into an evil spirit when he died. I really liked that arc and seeing what Mob went through, made me admire him even more than before. The arc afterwards is pretty sad too. I hope it does get animated because it's totally worth it. Honestly I can handle ONE'S art style and he improved a whole lot, seriously. |

They can work out a deal to air the second season as the manga is wrapping up or maybe even end the manga in the same day as the anime with the same ending. Mob Psycho 100 is a monthly series and depending on how ONE is going to have the story go, there may be plenty of time to prepare another season. |

| I'm not sure how this new will affect MP100 season 2's change but OPM will get season 2 on 2017. This time is not rumors: https://twitter.com/opm_anime/status/780029241769332737 I love both series, but I personally prefer MP100 season 2 more than OPM's. So... well, we need to wait, but at this rate MP100 might not get season 2. I don't know if I'm happy or sad anymore... |

First, the points stands if Mob wouldn't be adapted before its ending. So now the only thing that matters is the fact if it's profitable for producers to do a sequel and it looks like it'll sell nicely. Sadly, even though anime is so good manga didn't get much of a boost and it rarely gets boost with sequels. Onepunchman gets sequel even though manga (at least Murata version) have less material than Mob have. There's clearly enough for another cour of anime now. |

| Season 2 wasn't announced, but the part with was shown, and that makes me wonder Bones might be teasing the 2nd season with that. They could've easily avoid that part and do another Omake in that time if they were not planning on the 2nd season. |
