| Ugh, poor Takumi. I always liked Takumi so to see him crushed like that was just sad. I thought he turned the tables when he switched up his recipe, but sadly he did not. The outcome of Souma vs. Subaru is pretty obvious, but I'm still excited to see Subaru get squashed. :P Also, the song by the judge was glorious. |

| Isami looks good slim, too bad he's going to gain back all his cholesterol when winter comes. Honestly speaking, if they were real people the Aldini twins would be the best looking. Being half-Italian, half-Japanese. Not being racist or whatever but a lot of happas are pretty damn good-looking, look at Rosa Kato who's half Italian herself. Souma would probably have an ordinary-looking, Asian face (although a lot of girls who are into JPOP/KPOP might be into his looks) and be ultra skinny. I'd imagine someone like Sato Takeru playing him in a live action, Sato's alright but he's no Yu Shirota (who could play happas and look good while doing it). All this talk about lemon semifreddos is making me crave for a lemon bar. I'm not surprised Takumi lost, as a matter of fact, I wanted him to lose even though I think he's talented and passionate. However, he lacks drive. All he wants to do is beat Souma, he's like an awful Vegeta of the cooking world. |

| Wow, Subaru's method of doing Cooking Battles is ... unique. I mean, that's a pretty BM way to defeat someone! Use the same recipe (with alterations) then take their knife? Dang. At least he got called out for being a stalker :P All the "turning into a girl" jokes were pretty funny ... Takumi by the sea, mm yes :3 Love the twists in this one with the olive oil then Subaru having predicted that as well. Really thought Takumi would pull out the win there but I guess Subaru just saw that one level deeper! ;P Interesting to see at least one of the judges not like him going against the "spirit" of the competition, but I guess Grandfather Headmaster says the food is most important ... well, to a degree I gotta agree with him there :P A bit disappointed with the ending though. Not surprised about the pairings (though Akira vs Ryou is gonna be AWESOME) but I'm a little disappointed that Souma accepted the challenge. I thought with all the buildup he would just flat out reject it. Plus with what he's offering up for the wager (quitting cooking) it's pretty obvious he's gonna win or else there'd be no show >_< So that kinda takes the tension out of their match IMO :( |

| Episode 4 : Vol. 10, Ch. 76-80[beg.] DANGGG. They're going to let the Shokugeki commence. HAHA. It knows no bounds. BEAT HIM, TAKUMI. He's doing this for his brother. AWWW. Ahhh. So Subaru is supposed to go up against Takumi anyway but he decided to turn it into a Shokugeki. Their theme is dessert. That's pretty awesomeeee. WHOAH. And he's making the same dish as the opponent. That's pretty interesting. He's really creepy using the same ingredients but it also goes to show just how smart he is and how extensive he is through his research. Regardless of who wins maybe he'll even join the group. I want to see him to go up against Souma. HAHA. Using the same dish as him. HAHAHAHA. The old guy judge totally made a rap. OMGGGG. Subaru won. My goodness. Poor Takumi. His Mezzaluna is taken away from him. Oh. WHOA. |

| So the Shokugeki of Takumi vs. Subaru went not like Takumi wanted. I really don't like Subaru. He just copys the dishes of other cooks. Sure you can say "A win is a win". But is it really? Stalking people so much that you know literaly everything about them to even counter what they eventuelly want to do is pretty poor. And even with all the preparation Subaru only won by a little bit. Would be interesting to know if he even can cook own dishes? Anyway the semifreddo looked super delicious. I think I have to eat some in the next time :D I hope Takumi will recover from that. I didn't expect Subaru waiting for Souma in Soumas room, that guy is really the the king of stalkers. So it's clear who will cook against each other in the next matches. Ryou vs. Akira and Souma vs. Subaru. Souma was so cool in the last scene god damn. He was totally calm even as Subaru tried to provoke him. But even then he accepted the challenge for the Shokugeki. And the price is high, maybe to high. That will be so interesting to see. I'm soooooooo excited >.< |

| Quite a shaky start for the series, they've clearly dropped alot of comedy in favour of focussing on the cooking and character development which in turn has dulled down the battles... Also fuck Subaru, honestly kind of doubting whether Souma will win this one - it works be pretty unrealistic to have the mc beat everyone. Then and again there 100%must be a spice rematch! |

| Souma put his life on the line pretty much, so you already know he's going to win. BUT I'm sure the mangaka knows this too, so how he wins should be where the focus of this Shokugeki is. This will be exciting to watch :D |
| I can't believe Takumi lose the match D: I couldn't agree more of what Souma pointed out the truth about Subaru, but when he said that he would quit being a chef if Subaru wins the match is just a stupid excuse :( If you love what you do, you just won't stop following your achievements no matter what! I can't wait to see the shokugeki match between these two *-* Go Souma! Show Subaru who's a true chef! |

| This part is getting adapted pretty well. I hate that they sacrificed Soma vs Alice, but now the show has correct pacing. The animations finally got good. We are on the same level as season 1, now. |

| This pretty much confirmed that Yukihira will win their shokugeki and then go to the finals. There's no way in hell that he would lose with everything on the line. What a good character though, I think this series needs more villains like him to keep it more interesting. |
