Let's say I'm new to the anime world. I just really started following every anime's seasons backs in 2011. Though, as many here, I watched DBZ, Knight of the Zodiac, Buck and other popular titles that showed up in the TV in my childhood.
To be pragmatic, I'm watching anime to get entertained. Yeah, simple as that. I don't consider myself in any way an "otaku". I don't care and don't want to use any categories of anime (ex.: shounen and so on). It doesn't matter the anime gender or who made it. I'm looking for fun, looking for any anime able to hold my attention, any that makes me looking forward for the next week's episode.
In the same way, the scores on my list only consider the entertainment that each anime brought me. I don't use any way of measure beyond that. Say, I don't use any complex way of scoring like those who use graphic/soundtrack/etc to rank their list.

I'm starting medical school this year, 2016. I guess my available time to watch anime will plunge, perhaps I will be able to watch some only on weekends and during vacations.
