| Going into this arc I didn't think about how Alice's mom was going to sound in the anime, it's really funny. |
| Ryo can pick the best ingredient by touch, Hayama can do so too by smell but Soma's got Nikumi. I guess it's obvious who wins right? But seriously everyone thinks it's gonna be between Ryo and Hayama sure they got unbelievable talents but did everyone forgot about how Soma won a shokugeki and got back 100 kitchen tools to their owners? That's just not fair. |

| That scene where Souma catches Ryoko in her undergarments lol Same bra as I like how Soma is making good use of the dorm, teamwork at its best. Nikumi x Soma, she seems to have feelings for him. Looking forward for the next episode. Just what did Soma do to that poor fish. Looks like fried fish but maybe it's been covered in something. Sort of reminded me of that one real life cooking video where a guy from Argentina cooks a fish in loads of salt, he pretty much used the salt to form like a rocky dome and inside the fish came out real good and not even salty. Allice's mom, Broken English at its best. |

| So Soma is at a big disadvantages here as his two opponents can flawlessly pick the best fish of the day – Hayama can smell the fish out and Ryo can simply touch the fish and tell almost everything about it. Soma has two options, either polish his fish picking skills or come up with a way to counter their perfect fish. Ryo defeats him in that little showdown at the fish market which tells him how outmatched he is in picking fish. His aging techniques made the fish better but not better than Ryo. Soma has defeated better ingredients before as he defeated Nikumi's near perfect meat with store bought meat. He's doing something similar here as he's not going for the pick of the day for the finals. And him not being there to pick up fish for the finals isn't that good a sign since both know that Soma hasn't given up and has a trick up his sleeve. They think that Soma's recipe could be good enough without the best fish out there. Lol Hayama and Ryo's picks were straight like swords and then we had Soma's fish. And Alice's foreigner mother shows up to judge the finals along with old man Nakiri and Dojima. Lol when she started to speak. Totally ruined all that elegance flowing from her. This was interesting. They didn't give the practice part a whole episode which made things feel a bit too fast. Now Soma will be fighting against two dangerous monsters. But he's nothing less than a monster himself so he's well-matched. |

| Dat Ryoko fanservice = one of the best from shokugeki Leonora is a beauty. and her speaking is beautiful too, I'm dying. Like her sentences are correct but the pronunciation is hilarious I love her already, one of my favs from this anime now |

| Very nice episode. The pacing was good it feels like the season 1's pacing, I hope it will be maintained for the later episodes. Just laugh a lot on Alice mother, her way of talking then mocking Erina was same like Alice xD what a Ryoko fanservice O.o Glad to see Souma's trial and error method, his fish doesn't look like a sword made me laugh xD . I'm hype for the next episode. |

| The pacing felt like season 1's pacing all over again, which is very welcome at the point of the story the show is at right now. Yukihira fetching the others was funny, with him dragging Ibusaki like a rag-doll, catching Sakaki off-guard while she's in her underwear and even made Nikumi think that he was going to confess to her! XD Either way, with Kurokiba's superior visual touch, along with Akira's god-like nose putting Yukihira behind and under pressure, Yukihira's plan is certainly ambitious, but it's his best bet in winning the autumn elections. Hopefully, he can do it! =) Overall, a really good episode. |

| I enjoyed Soma's build up episodes like this. I ended up learning a lot about judging the quality of fish and food theory is super interesting to me. Love the slower pacing. |

| It was a good episode! I'm expecting Ryo to have an advantage because he's worked with seafood for so long, but saury is an ingredient that they all have some advantage in.... so it might be a close match! I was very impressed with Hayama's way of telling what fish are the best, just by smelling them! Wild stuff. Soma's fish looks awful but I know he's got something up his sleeve, as he always does. Alice's mom seems like she's going to be a tough judge though! I can't wait to see what he and the others make for their dishes! |

| Interesting, I wasn't sure what too expect with the competition still days away, but they straight up skipped to the final day. Having Megumi tag along was nice, I seriously love her character and feel happier whenever shes just on screen. Also happy to see some of the side characters actually be involved in something, it's been awhile. Knew Alice's mom would screw up her speech, she was too elegant and beautiful looking to do it right. And I look forward too seeing what Yukihara is gonna pull for the final. |

| Damn Sakaki. DAMN Nakiri Leonora. <3 As much as I get annoyed by Souma winning all the time, I liked that he sought advice from his dorm mates and it was a team effort in a way. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Akira is attractive. That fish market lady agrees with me. |

| Like for everyone here :D Sakaki MVP of this episode :] I loved all the knowledge about fish ;] About episode I think it was better or at least more enjoyable than previous ones. In the next episode maybe each judge will be voting for other contestant. Maybe Director for Ryou, Alice mother for Hayama and Doujima for Souma. But one good episode doesn't make me like this season more ;/ we got few more episodes till I cast my vote. |
