Genres that I Like The Least:
I Command You to Watch This! If You Think The AMV is Cool, Feel Free To Add Me and Comment. Hateful and Inappropriate Comments will be Taken Down. Thank You! Want more AMV's? Click This. Enjoy! And Many More That I Wish to Add But I'm Afraid Will Just Make the List So Long. So On the Meantime I Hope This Satisfies You. Did You Know? • Berserk has made it a long way for what many used to consider a niche Dark Fantasy seinen franchise, with a manga that's been ongoing since 1990 with 39+ volumes and finally hit 40 million volumes in circulation in February 2016. • Berserk has significant influence on the game Dark Souls • Final Fantasy VII's main hero, Cloud, was clearly inspired by Guts' character. Both men are lonely mercenaries hell-bent on exacting revenge against a silver-haired villain who not only ruined their lives, but also took away their respective love interests. Griffith was responsible for raping Casca to the point of insanity, whereas Sephiroth murdered Aerith. In both cases, the hero is even forced to witness these traumatic events occur right in front of their eyes. What separates Cloud from Guts is the fact that he doesn't indulge in the carnage and has a more upbeat personality. • At 345 million copies sold, One Piece is the best selling manga in the world. • Oda based the concept of One Piece on a vision of manliness, since Dragon Ball already did everything a kid could be happy about. • One Piece was originally only supposed to run for 5 years. Oda has admitted that one of the reason it has become such a Long Runner (passing such luminaries as Dragon Ball and InuYasha) is that he simply enjoys writing it. • The Marine that Jango hypnotized into thinking that he had captured Captain Kuro went on to become Captain Axe Hand Morgan, one of the first villains in the series. • Whitebeard's full name is Edward Newgate. Blackbeard's full name is Marshall D. Teach. If you take Whitebeard's first name and Blackbeard's last name, you get Edward Teach, which is the historical Blackbeard's real name. On a related note, Oda has stated the discovery of one of Blackbeard's ships was what inspired him to make a manga about pirates. Thatch, Whitebeard's 4th Division Commander, and the guy who Blackbeard killed for the Dark-Dark Fruit (Yami Yami no Mi), is based on an alias the real-life Blackbeard used. • The way Luffy activates Gear Third, by putting a thumb in his mouth, biting into the joints, and blowing to inflate his arm's bones, is visually similar to one of the more common ways Popeye the Sailor would bulk up after eating spinach. Given that Franky's character design is 50% Popeye with 50% Jim Carrey, this was likely intentional. • Contrary to what some believe, the word "Nakama" CAN and DOES translate to English quite easily. The direct translation is "comrade". It can also mean "crew(mate)", or "friend", or True Companions, or "bosom buddies", or etc., even if those words aren't as exact a match as "comrade" is. In short, if anyone tries to say that "Nakama" is a special word that cannot (and must not) be translated, they're either unaware of that or lying. •One wonders if the characterization of Rider/Alexander the Great in here owes less to historical record and more to Akio Ohtsuka's previous roles as a leader of overwhelming charisma, whose men are fanatically loyal to him and his vision for the world, and who is likely to be misunderstood by people who don't know him. •The first opening theme, 'oath sign' pretty much kickstarted LiSA's career as a solo artist, and she would later find further success with Sword Art Online and The Irregular at Magic High School. • A portion of Fate/Zero fans have been derisively nicknamed 'Zerofags', which is the term for fans who got into the Fateverse thanks to this series and were baffled that the predecessor/sequel or other installments weren't as dark and edgy as Zero, thus tend to insult those series and those who liked it, while overly praising Fate/Zero's qualities to the point of ridiculousness. • There would've been a subplot where one of Assassin's personalities, a little girl, got separated from the others and forgot her identity. After mistaking her for one of Caster and Ryuunosuke's kidnapped victims, Waver takes her in. Rider knows what she really is, but keeps quiet out of respect for Waver's chivalry. Waver and the girl bond, but when Kotomine uses a Command Spell to make all the Assassins attack Rider's party, she regains her memory and joins the attack. Waver is devastated by her death, but toughens up and moves on, as the subplot was meant to be a step in his growing up. Coming Soon... Coming Soon... Coming Soon... Coming Soon... Coming Soon...
