Am I the only one who thinks Guilty Crown is underrated?

I did like the show, however anyone could easily hate the show when they leave us with a ending like that. It's not what the majority, or probably any of what the viewers wanted to see. The author knows that and yet still gives us that ending. I hate when they do that..

Personally I was disliking it even before the ending although part of the cause was the comparison with Code Geass, the other part was the mess Guilty Crown is.

As an anime only viewer, I thought it was okay. I didn't read the manga so I didn't get where the screwups were but I guess the animation wasn't canon.

I think far too many people take it too seriously. It's dumb schlock like most of the shows Araki has worked on. Much like Kabaneri, it's a bunch of ideas he likes mashed together with some gorgeous visuals and a great soundtrack. Guilty Crown felt very much to me like one big bombastic homage to anime, in all of its glorious stupidity. I can't call it "great" but it was an extremely enjoyable piece of entertainment.
