| Chinatsu is so sweet, I love. I want pudding too now. Makoto I feel, my sense of direction sucks, too. Now that I'm starting to get used to this show, I'm loving it. Loved how Chinatsu closed the door on seeing that shady looking guy lol. Would do the same lmao It's really cute how she's scared of him tho. He's a nice person tho. Kei is so laidback, I like how he casually said "I'd be popular with guys" Lmao I feel Chinatsu making faces on seeing Makoto enjoy the food she dislikes. Really nice. This really is close to Aria-level. |

| This show is easily JC Staff's best work in terms of face animation that I've seen, not just the exaggerated non sequitor parts, but even in idle state the character's faces are always communicating something. And not just characters always having shiteating grins like in Shokugeki no Souma recently. If not for these character designs though it could be different. I still can't shake the feeling that Chinatsu is a young Minami Kana. |

| I really like the opening, and this show makes me feel at ease. Its just so nice and calming -w- Definitely looking forward to more of this. |

| That harbinger somehow reminds me of certain character from Ghibli's anime. Unexpected voice as well, I though he is going to have heavier / old man voice. After watched two episode, I can say the adaptation is as good as expectation can be. Although some parts from original are skipped. The comedy still maintained and I still laughed even I've read the manga. Seeing the speed though, this anime might goes past the current manga fan-TL chapter. It is a good after-day watch. |

| Studio Ghibli called, they want their whimsical animation back. I kept expecting the Harbinger to start offering gold to everyone and then eat John Ratzenberger. |

| I really want to know the name of that sleeve thing the Harbinger wears. I've vaguely wondered about it for years from seeing it in various anime but I never found a name for it. Does it even have a specific name? Maybe it's just a cloth kote... In any case, his general figure/outfit/stance really reminded me of Shichika from Katanagatari. Ahhhhhh Kei is so great <3 Roadside plants > school supplies. |

| Love the atmosphere of this series, it's just so relaxing. The harbinger part was lol especially when she just closed the door on him and asked for the number for the police. Chinatsu's reaction are so cute and funny. |

| Chinatsu is the Queen of Reactions. Her expressions are the best. I find this show great. The humor is subtle and understated, which for some reason I find funnier than outrageous humor. I had to laugh when Kei tells Makoto not to pick the herbs near the lampposts, and then at the end we see a little dog peeing on it. Ha ha ha. This is definitely the SOL of the season. |

| This is better than the manga in my opinion, the music makes the show. So far the episodic nature has worked well without too much noticeable skips. Maybe this will convince Japan that a Yotsuba anime could work. |

| Voice acting still not into their roles enough - check Faces and expressions still look oddly out of place with the art style - check Still feeling zoned out afterwards - check Makoto still a filthy casual - check check So yeah, I'm enjoying reading the manga more and will just stick with reading this series. The art looks less disjointed, I can put my own voices to the characters, and I think the relaxing tone of this series works best when I'm going through it at my own pace rather than prattling along at the anime's set pace. |

| This is definitely my favorite so far this season. There needs to be more Slice of Life that is more about completely trivial things with a relaxing environment and less romance. Can't wait to meet all the characters that were previewed. |

Yotsubato not being an anime is up to the mangaka and I believe he has stated that he doesn't think it translates well into anime, which I agree. But that's a bit off topic. |

| Yeah, it's confirmed, this anime is weird. And I mean really weird. It completely lacks any punchlines, it's way to slow and it's animation is so punctilious it creates strange disconnect for the viewer. It feels like it's almost artificially empty. There is no soothing or healing factor in this anime as weirdness is everpresent. |
| So far, Flying Witch makes Aria look action-packed (note that I'm not making a quality comparison). I'm very happy with the show...I hope it stays this quiet for the rest of the season. |

| Pleasant narration, although very quiet, I see something different than the usual slice of life, who knows! Fun in his whole life, I enjoyed the simple comedy used. Comic the part where Makoto tastes the bakke and Chinatsu is there ready to taste and Kei teases making her do those strange faces. Cute designs, the quality was more than discrete, the animations are sufficient. Catchy is the opening that the ending. Tenth said: All these expressions in this episode made me laugh xD  This anime is just so relaxing, definitely nice to watch every week even more so if your day have just been shit. I agree! Instead of getting drunk to forget the crap everyday, I prefer to look at an anime of this genre, which manages the same way to restore my soul and not destroying my liver, drinking. I decided, this is my anime Slice Of Life of the season = ASOLOTS |
