But probably because my friend is telling me spoilers during the episode. I'm excited to get to what has been said to be "dark" in this series. |

| This is my favorite season of Digimon. I guess just because it's so dark, and the tamers get to use cards to power up their digimon. :D. I watched it sub, which made it even better, plus I really like the theme song. |
| Pretty dark, and is also my fav season of Digimon. Awesome song and characters(less so). |

Script writer is the same guy who was involved in creating Texhnolyze and Lain both of which were "Dark". And finally I'm rewatching one of my favorite childhood shows. Nostalgia >_< |

| That opening really does spoil things; you immediately know who's going to be a Tamer. And if that wasn't a big enough screw you to the idea of spoilers, every single one of them appears in the first episode. Damn. Anyways, interesting first episode. Felt kinda weird watching it and it took me a few minutes to realize why. It wasn't action-packed nor felt rushed or fast. Things move slow but steady and that's a sign you're in for the long haul. | Great first episode with perfect pacing. This will be my first Digimon series that I didn't watch as a kid and I've heard some great things so I'm looking forward to it. Really liking Takato so far, he feels more like a real kid than the characters of Adventure. The appearance of Guilmon and Takato's reaction at the end was definitely the best part and a great cliffhanger. |
| I saw a few of the initial eps I was younger but never saw it in it's entirety so always been curious about this series but always put off from watching it. My main reason for wanting to watch this aside from nostalgia has got to be the fact that Chiaki J. Konaka wrote scripts for this. |
| A digimon is a chasing a digimon. DarkTyrannomon saved it? Dat explosio. It shinka'd. The white digimon got sent flying into the real world. Culumon. 2 boys playing a digimon card game. The koromon evolution line card. Nice. It was an ok start. The OP was good as expected of Koji Wada. By itself, the song is great, but it feels so weak, and that's because my mind is comparing it to the greatness and perfection that is Butter-fly. No Digimon OP can compare to it. The ED song is great. AiM delivered as expected. Btw, I loved how Guilmon fired at those rats. It reminded my of Agumon with those killer eyes in the DA movie. I had no intention of rewatching Tamers this year, but Konaka did some GOAT stuff on Odaiba Day last month for Tamers 20th anniversary, which got people (foreigners) triggered, and that's why I'm rewatching it as a way to honor him. |

| Re-watching this once again. This season has a great story. Guilmon hatched and Takato is in big trouble! Or is he? Culumon is really adorable by the way. :3 |
