| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was boring, first half just a lot of buildup and exposition coming from Arthur. A lot of talking this chapter though including with a "God". The only decent part is that they are actually heavily concentrating on the core of the story with the Divine Gate but I'm finding the story to be all over the place with events from the past that intersects with events of the present. Eh I guess it's better than Aoto's past because he's one of the most dull characters I've seen so far this season. Hopefully rest of the series will get better because the first half has been so meh. |

I'm excited to see this exhibition go full throttle and I like that we got to see some backstory for Arthur and that his characterization showed that he doesn't have bad intentions like I was thinking |

| Episode was more on the mediocre side. Felt a bit slow with them finally deciding to get a move on and find that Divine Gate. Don't really know what else to say about this episode (Not sure if this is a good or bad thing) So umm Merry Christmas I guess. Keep Believing in Santa |

| Hopefully we'll finally learn some more about what exactly the Gate is in future episodes, as this episode seems to have made a little progression in the overall plot........I think. I wasn't really paying attention half the time lol. Ah, that little kid came back. He's still as annoying as ever, and I don't even know why I hate him so much. Probably his annoying face and him spouting pseudo-philosophical mumbo jumbo all the time. Leave that to the narrator, we don't need 2 sources of edginess in this show. |

The way this anime was adapted...it is really impossible to understand everything anyway....a majority of elements and characters were modified and removed completely even for the Twilight Judgement..  At least Laplace appeared at 14:06 ..next to Akane's dad Pavlov =( |

| So we get backstory concerning Arthur, pretty sweet, I wonder how the whole "Santa"-thing is going to end. A foreshadowing reveal that Ginji and Loki met before and made a dea/discussed somethingl makes me want to watch the next episodes, hopes this gets unraveled there. All on all, decent episode. |

| The narrators are the most annoying thing ever jfc those "the boy" monologues, dude. Stop. I was expecting to see more development towards Arthur because maybe I would come to like him, but he's just as cliche and boring as the rest of the characters. Come on man, that thing about creating a new world where everything is perfect and everyone is happy, we've seen that a thousand times already. Come up with something better for once. Also that little kid that follows Aoto everywhere, oh my god, I hoped he wouldn't appear again but here we are. The only good thing that I can point about this episode is that it was closer to the actual plot than all of the previous ones. Finally, jfc. |

| Oh I was dreading and procrastinating watching this episode so much. I think I was right to do so. God that was a snorefest. Nothing really interested me at all, I can't even be bothered keeping up with the 'plot' in this anime. Looks like an action filled episode is coming up next. Maybe that'll keep me from falling half-asleep in the middle of the day. Or maybe I'll just drop it. |

| So more insight into Arthur's past ... not gonna lie, he kinda rubs me the wrong way >_< I mean I guess now we know how he met Santa and Loki but his wish is kinda, well, I mean weird lol XD At least they're finally going after the Divine Gate now ... and yeah Arthur totally called Aoto out on covering for his brother. I hope that the next half is interesting though. I wonder how the wishes thing is gonna work out with everyone there? Hmm ... all these silly analogies with the rain and fish tanks is pretty annoying though >_< |
