----------------------------------------
Felt a lot like a mind game against Seiko this episode.

I find it almost amusing at how much they put the emphasis into the power of the pitching though and ending this episode. The crowd immediately reacted to that. Priceless moment in baseball history~

GYAKUTEN SAYONARA HOME RUN!!! FIRST FROM THIS TEAM!!!

Cant believe we've waited over more than 100 episodes to have a walk off home run sweetness, other baseball anime's would have walk off in every game lol.
How do I signature?

I'm glad Kawakami finally had his moment, but Miyuki sure sucked up all the cool (and detail) this ep with the ending.

The lead-in to the hit with its monologue, flashes, and glory music was a little much of a tell-tale, but the fly, head-turn, reactions, and aftermath hit the spot wonderfully. Gotta love the commentator and that soundtrack. Even the stills and jaw-drops really work hand-in-hand.

Was Ochia shivering there?

It was surprising to see Kawakami pitch with a smile, who would thought that he would be the one to stop Seiko's momentum! That was definitely one very crucial part of the game, his own way of getting over the lost.

Ladies and Gentlemen, keep your mouths open because that is Miyuki for you right there!!! That really was one heck of a way to end things, with these entirely satisfying moments to end the game.

Miyuki's injury and the fact that the final is back-to-back, too. Miyuki really needs a rest, but would in be during the finals or even in the nationals, though I doubt Miyuki can stand resting in the finals especially.

THAT LAST HOMERUN!!!

Muyuki still injured, hope he'll be fine for the finals.

Find it funny how the PV for next episode makes it seems as if it ain't bluntly obvious who they'll face in the finals[spoiler]it was spoiled in the first OP cause the teams they beat appear in the order they're beat and the second OP's main focus is the team they'll face in the finals.

I totally sensed that homerun! So glad it actually happened, he deserved it. But honestly he's done. I dont think he'll be playing in the next game well or at all. He needs to report that injury, all these players need to stop hiding their injures!

Furuya no Ace.

Perfect.

Ye.

Rite.

Say Furuya no ace when the episode includes Furuya pitching 'at least' :s
stop ruining every discussion with hating on the series and Furuya
if you don't like it 'anymore' then don't watch it, it's just that simple you know ._.
I'm not trying to be rude but I always see negative comments from you in every discussion I read and it's really annoying because I'm a die-hard fan, and it probably annoys other fans too! >_<

For real though, I knew I wanted to comment on Kawakami when it was his turn to shine, but then that last scene with Miyuki really stole the spotlight that I forgot until I read this comment. So yeah, Kawakami, I'm glad he got his turn to shine, even though it was less than one inning. Miyuki didn't ask for the sinker, and instead asked for something he knew Kawakami would be confident in, and it worked really well! I also love the way Eijun relayed the ball to Kawakami, by giving it all his energy X)

And as much as everyone expected the home-run, it was as you said, there were a lot of factors that made it glorious. Loved that fluid slow-mo of Miyuki swinging the bat and everyone's head turning. Amazing. Couldn't not watch it at least two more times. Miyuki is the best, he does everything with the team in mind, wanting to bring everyone to the nationals...despite being injured! What a true captain.

Ochiai definitely shivered, or got goosebumps. Probably the first time he felt sort of awed and surprised with the team X)

Lost in all this hype is still the fact that Kominato broke his bat a day before the finals. I wonder if he'll get used to the metal bat or if he'll get a surprise gift from his bro.

Even if I was worried for Miyuki to think he hit such a homerun injured!Lol Sawamura fussing over Miyuki in the dugout, and kudos to Furuya for notice something is off with him almost immediatly( probably because ha plays with him the most).
Kawakami has pitched greatly, besides Ochiai said he was the most suitable pitcher against this type of team from the start.
Can't wait for next episode^^

Sawamura's not a joke at all. He's not the only charachter in this show, though, and Miyuki and Furuya are also main charas .Besides even if he was nervous at the start he pitched awesomely till now ! Then again Furuya's not the core of all Eijun's difficulties and problems.

Alright the FINALS AT LAST! It's a definite win for Yakudai next episode or so, BAKA BOWL III is up next SAWAMURA VS. RAICHI will be the highlight of the FINALS GAME! All faith on Sawamura will come back and the pitching we saw in the 100th episode will bring the most badass pitching Sawamura will become that we all waiting for. Sorry for spoiling but the hype of waiting for these episodes to be seen is a definite must watch for all Sawamura fans. The most dangerous batter for SAWAMURA to face and the pitcher RAICHI wants to face off the most. Forget about Furuya, he's like Sasuke of Naruto series and like the Naruto series, Sawamura will become the ace at the end. Well seeing as Madhouse has been faithful to the manga is a big thanks to them adapting this great sports manga into an anime. Here's hoping there will be a continuation of the anime on the ACT II this coming years.

Miyuki is so badass haha. That was such an awesome win. I love this show :)

It seems like the injury will definitely affect him for the Yakushi game though. I wonder what the injury is exactly, but I hope it's not too serious to where he won't be able to play. Sports injuries suck irl and in anime.

I edited all posts to eliminate double posting. Then replied all the 3 last comments about my "see ya". But thinking now, I'm gonna delete all the "negativeness" from this discussion.

I take my word back and say, too, that I'm gonna post on the next discussions, but gonna try to tone down my negative remarks or at least make them shorter so people get less annoyed about what I say (I know I was annoying, but that's somehow because I have a really soft spot for this anime in my heart).

Still, I don't take back that I am really frustrated about Diamond no Ace.

frustation is fine and all, we all feel the same about Sawamura's position in the team. but let time pass and we'll get back our faith in the Finals Game against Yakushi. IT'S BAKA BOWL III man, Sawmura vs. Raichi in the FINALS!!

I wish Sawamura vs. Daichi would be the biggest rivalry in the anime (at least between two characters and from different teams) since they share the same out going personality.

I think I never saw a better execution of Sayonara homerun in anime. The game was still intense and the other side was kind of winning but hello, sayonara homerun just like a slap on the opponent face knocking out the opponent who was charging up their Superpower.
