| Oh, wow, this is actually hard to answer because so many of the TLR characters are just awesome! Well, except for Haruna. Anyhow... 1 - Lala 2 - Yami 3 - Momo 4 - Nana 5 - Mikan Lala has become one of my absolute favorite anime/manga characters ever. Her personality is just spectacular and there's nothing I don't love about her. And if I may also be shallow for a moment, it doesn't hurt that she's hot as hell. As to 2 - 5, there's an infinitesimal difference, might as well be 4 #2s. And Mea just barely misses my top 5. As perverted as Momo but w/ no real experience, however has a ton of curiousity & the desire/willingness to endulge all of that curiousity. Hehehe... TLR is now unique for me in that I absolutely love sooo many of its characters, rather then just 1 or 2. |

| Should have been an all of the above option. I voted yui because i knew momo or yami would be at the top, and these 3 are tied for the top spot, though honestly, this is my favoite anime cast, so it would be impossible for me to rank them. |

| When I read the manga and watch the anime, I only care for the following three things: -Mikan -Yui -Yuri scenes / Yuri undertone scenes. The other things I just skip them. I will say this, if they do officially do the "ohhh, were actually not related" card with Mikan, then I will no longer care for the Mikan scenes unless its a yuri scene. |

| For the "best female character" as of Darkness Chapter 57.1: 1. Momo 2. Yami 3. Mikan 4. Mea 5. Lala 6. Yui 7. Nana 8. Nemesis 9. Queen Sephie 10. Tearju 11. Rin As for the "best girl for Rito": 1. Yui (probably one of the two harem candidates with most progress in any sort of relationship with Rito (the other being Yami), given that they barely know each other before she was introduced in To-Love-Ru Chapter 50... or do they [given the fact that Yui and Rito (and Mikan) met several years ago]...?) 2. Momo (the most aggressive one among Rito's relationships with his harem, but she genuinely cared not only for Rito's happiness, but also for the happiness of all members within his harem) 3. Yami (along with Yui, as she was introduced as a cold-hearted assassin, then became kind-hearted person who protected her friends from danger, especially Mikan. Kind of Rei Ayanami of Evangelion) 4. Lala (Still the same innocent and ditzy Lala, despite her sudden disappearance during the early Darkness chapters until Chapter 35) 5. Mikan (Yeah, incest wins... No, not really that. She had known him for a long time that Rito clearly called her special anyway.) Can't really put Haruna in any of the two things because she didn't really do anything impactful in Darkness nor having any significant character development all throughout the To-Love-Ru series (even with that accidental kiss with Rito during Chapter 54 since it is more reflected on Momo's thoughts than it does for Haruna's in the following chapter). Meaning Haruna is in desperate need of stepping up in the series in terms of character development if she wanted to be something substantial herself or be relevant to the series, not just being one of Rito's love interests or Lala's best friend. |

| The best thing about Momo absolutely killing everyone else is the fact that TLR has so many great girls... It's not like most anime where there is ONE girl everyone likes and a bunch of scrubs.... Mikan is without a doubt the greatest Imouto of all time. Yami was best girl in Black Cat (Eve). Yui would be best girl in any other series if she was in it. Nemesis next to Kuro is probably the best dark skinned loli of all time! So you got all these great girls, and Momo still crushes the competition. |

| 1) Yami (my fav since the first TLR, not to mention her development in darkness is great) 2) Lala n Momo (they are both great as protagonist I guess. Momo has more interesting personality but Lala's pure and innocent acts are just charming). Too bad we don't see Lala often in darkness 3) Mea n Nemesis. (Playful living weapons lol) 4) Yui n Mikan (tsundere n imouto, 2 of better girls since the first TLR) 5) Other characters |
| 1- Yami since she's been my favorite TLR girl over the years, and she used to be in my top favorite though not sure when and why I took her out. Also, after recently reading and finishing Black Cat finally and seeing how extremely similar Eve was to her made me like her even a weensy bit more. 2- Nemesis climbed up to the top for me since I love her relationship with Rito and she's cute. I always like seeing her shenanigans even since she's entered Rito 3- Momo...cause Momo. I'd be a fool to not like her after such a huge role she plays in Darkness. 4- Yui. I used to be really neutral about her but came to like her more since Darkness. Well, that applies to a lot of the girls, to be honest. Darkness did a nice job in developing the cast 5- Lala. To be honest, Lala would be higher-- maybe third-- but her presence has diminished so much over the course of Darkness :v |
