Yukine has become mature. Great development.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Time to kick off the Ebisu/Underworld arc! The shrine scene was really great and the exposition to open this new arc wasn't bad at all though I do feel like the money scene was a bit of a filler.

Lol at Yato and Yukine giving into temptation. Love how Yukine is starting to take charge as Yato's Exemplar. It was really cool when he said that he wanted to get stronger.

Hiyori making that shrine for Yato was just so cute and heartwarming. Teared up a little when Yato cried. She must have worked really hard, Her hands are bandaged.

The time jump in the middle of the episode after Hiyori begged Yato not to cut ties with her was a bit wierd. Like its good that he ended up not doing it but it felt like it cut off a bit abruptly. I dont know if it was the same way in the manga because I havent read it.

Really was. It totally surprised me. But then I realized how big a deal it was to get one.....such a feel good moment there, especially when it focused on Hiyori's bandages on her fingers <3 Having Kofuku explain it in her super cute voice was the icing on the cake <3

Glad they're moving forward with the next plot. Hopefully Bishamon will be on Yato's side this time. I'm assuming so since she called the meeting at the beginning. Seems like Ebisu is the conjurer since he had masks behind him..not very subtle were they? xD

What happened in the manga was:

Yato was going to cut ties with Hiyori and that was the end of a chapter. Next chapter is OVA 1, the one where Hiyori starts high school and Yato possesses her body and creates havoc in the school. In the manga, they led us to believe that Hiyori had forgotten about Yato because she was ignoring him. However, she had just blocked him on Twitter because he's a stalker. It was played as a joke, but it was also a warning that Hiyori's situation is unstable and that there will be drastic consequences if they don't deal with it soon. Of course they are not gonna show that until a potential Season 3!

"Money can't buy everything anyway!" says the rich surgeon's wife. I hope they bother to bring up the fact that Hiyori's family are really obnoxious about money just because they never have to worry about it if they're gonna add in lines like that.

Yukine finally not that whiny little cocksucker that he was in S1. Acting incredibly mature now that he sees himself as an exemplar.

All muh feels during that shrine scene. Right after the Kazuma and Bishamon scene too. Fuckin hell Bones, give me some breathing room between the feels here.

Well I had the same feeling. At first I thought that she had forgotten him and thats why it was it a bit confusing at first. Was the only weak point in the episode.

So... Yato postponed cutting ties, but this whole thing feels really ominous, like it's going to come back soon and cause misery.

The shrine scene was amazing. I'm really liking how this anime is going.

I really love the shrine moment, it shows how deep inside, Yato is still kinda like a child despite being a God. Next week lol that face in the preview.

This episode shows a lot of growth for Yukine, and he seems to have developed more of a sense of who he is and how he is able to be of service to Yato. Of course, part of that came from Yato being tempted by money from Ebisu, one of the seven lucky gods. And from what we see, it looks like Ebisu may not be on the up-and-up.

And Hiyori is now in high school. Seeing her in a new school uniform is taking some getting some used to.

But the big highlight of the episode is right at the end... the feels...

So far, Noragami Aragato seems to be continuing strong after the Bishamon arc. There seems be a strong foundation for the next arc, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it will progress.

The only thing I didn't get is why the other five gods of fortune (Bishamon excluded), refer to Ebisu as "baldy", when his current reïncarnation looks like a man in his prime.

Also, how come the gods have different ages? Tenjin is an old geezer, Kofuku a teenager (physically at least), and Yato, Ebisu and Bishamon seem to be something in between. Yet Bishamon's uninterupted lifespan and appearance, unchanging since the Sengoku period, seem to suggest that, at least at some point, gods stop aging.

On the Ebisu thing, no idea. They say that in the manga too. Maybe it's a mistranslation and he meant to say that Ebisu is all stuck-up, emotionless and usually acts like an old, bald man or something like that?

As per God's aging, the manga hasn't explained much on that yet. I believe that they do age (we saw Bishamon as a child in that reincarnation explanation by Kazuma, and we also saw Yato as a child in this episode). But we have seen Bishamon and Yato fighting for ages, so maybe they age veeeeeeeeeeery slowly. I guess they eventually die of old age too and then get reincarnated? :/

I think they just age up to certain age, and then can stay at this age forever, unless they're killed. What this age is probably depends on the God.
