DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- They got some neat cars in this series lol I mean the higher ups got some nice cars... Idk why but I find Guren pissed off kinda amusing. About time they got the battle part though and I think it's kinda nice that they focus on how much they improved between Yuu's group and the Moon Demon Company. Dat Shinoa blush! The vampires making their moves as well.  |

| "If you're not prepared to protect your comrades, get the fuck out before I smack you the fuck out!" - Guren Ahh, they changed the reprimanding scene. ;__; But un-toasted bread, Goshi's bikini fantasy and Ferrari/Lamborghini were still there. >:D Guren and Shinya as epic/hawt as ever. Mito + Shinya + Guren vs Shinoa squad was nice-ish-kinda-maybe. Also, lol @ destroying the ferrari. They skipped the 'A 20 year old Yu' chapter. D: Welp, back to chapter cramming. At least this wasn't too bad. Guren and Yuu's father-son relationship is freaking adorable. The final scene in JIDA was cute, a bit like in the manga. My poor baby, Mika, is suffering. ;__; Ahh, muh heart. 3.5/5 Next ep looks meh. |

| On the way to Nagoya and attack. They were late and were scolded by Nakamura-san's character, which the war is going to be serious. Miyu-Miyu's character takes all the responsibility of being late. Nakamura-san's character knew it was Hayami-san's character's fault and used him to "get" her. The team is tested for the teamwork. Hosoya-san's character doesn't approve bringing them, so Nakamura-san's character assigned his team to instruct them. Ex-human vampire guy's urge for blood almost got uncontrolled when on mission. Training next. |

| Oh I hated this episode. They cut out all the dialogue that gave character to Guren's team. Then they edited the battle scene and honestly it was stupid because the original but the anime just made the battle like hohoho let's fight let's make it cool let's make it make no sense at all Then final nail in the coffin they include the Mika scene which COULD BE JUST MOVED TO NEXT EPISODE TO GIVE ACTUAL CHARACTER TO GUREN'S TEAM AND GIVE THE DESERVING SCREENTIME TO MAKOTO'S TEAM but NO. Now I'm just more pissed that they dragged the first season out so that they could cut out the actual GOOD PARTS of this series. Heh. This episode was like the only thing I was waiting for and then BAM it crumbles. |

| Were still not sure how long Nagoya Arc is. From what I read before, we won't get an anime original ending. And they are planning to animate the whole Nagoya Arc. So in my case, the cut scene this episode is pretty understandable. Though, I still wished they include the 20 years old part. |

| Oh wow. Watching the subs(without any lag and things), I realized that they literally skipped the little chit-chat with Guren's squad inside the mall. D: Aww man, I was looking forward to that. | Pretty decent episode again. I thought they'd be already starting the fight this episode though... will the pacing be alright? This episode made me like Guren a bit more. And I'm glad Shinoa got scolded for playing around, she really should consider the TPO here. |

| Shinoa should stop fooling around, but i guess that's part of her character and i actually love it, tho it gets her team in trouble all the time ;D Well great episode nonetheless, vampires are starting to make their move as well. Mika is starting to lose his edge, that blood lust might drive him crazy. |
| I can't believe I'm saying this but Yu's probably my fav character now. His development has been great. The way he acts now is really cool. There's only one thing I'm waiting to see tho...how he reacts to Mika nxt time. |

| I didnt liked this episode.....it was forced. The reason for this......first of all....they got scolded couse they were late?? There could get anything wrong....they could had been attacked by some vampire commando...or anything else....they came nearly at time...so why the fu*k.....strangely....Yuu is getting level headed...why Shinoa is like reversing....getting talked down...doing nothing....its like she is some kind of noob...instead of the old level headed about things Shinoa from before...dont get it....its like being forced so they can talk her down......another thing...whats up with that Guren army??? are they all some kind of macho over boosted slayers that they are looking down on Shinoas team?? if they are so strong why didnt they wiped out all vampires then?....i dont think so...again...forced reaction.....just so they can portrait them as newbies...then that fight....how could they overpower them so much??? ok i get it that they have only raw power and no or little teamwork...so what? before they could hold they ground agains Nobles...now? they got pwned like newbies...like nothing....Gurren was able to ditch Yuu...so what? before they could how theyr ground...Kimizuki was just just some random back character even if they showed before that he can hold his own against Yuu...now he was just blown back.....Shinoa was unreasonable....Yoichi was just another backup character...so what if Yuu has only raw power...before that noble beat shit out of Guren even with raw power.......srsly....in my opinion it was just forced so they can portray them as newbie team...that has no teamwork..and is weak...so they can scold them and team them up with some random platoon....i will bet that in next episode they will be pushing again nobles why all others will by dying like a flies.....inconsistent......oh and i dont care about Mika and his emo moods... |

I get the sibling love and whatever, but the way they are longing for each other is, IMO, depicted as if they are longing for their lover..... |

| Hmm awesome car in an apocalyptic world lol But yea this episode was pretty much another lead up episode pretty much showing the weakness of the team which is of course that they need to work on their teamwork so that its probably what they are going to be doing next episode which is training with that other group. | Did we really need to spend most of an episode to realise that Yu's team don't work together well at all? I thought that was already well-established, so this whole episode felt like they're dragging things out for the sheer sake of it. Also, I've been wondering this all season, but why has Yu's personality become the exact opposite of the first season? Did I miss some major character development somewhere or something? Cos at this point, even if it is a good change, it still feels really forced. |
| My memory of these chapters is kind of hazy, but does anyone know if Wit shortened Guren yelling at Shinoa's squad? Also, I could have sworn his big speech was longer than what was shown, and I thought Kimizuki was supposed to let Yu drive them there which is why they were late. *sigh* so many changes, and one more thing, was the battle against Guren, Mito, and Shinya that long in the manga? I don't recall it being that long. It wasn't that long. The point, in the manga, was that Shinoa squad could barely handle Guren, Mito and Shinya for even a short moment - hence why the fight ended so quickly. WIT sure screwed that one up. |

Ofc he's going to rek the fuck out of Privates, a Sergeant and a Second Lieutenant. 36 nobles there are even all those wont be in nagoya....so clearly there wont be that much nobles there.... I don't see what this has to do with anything, lol. My point was that they need to form squads because they can barely hold their own agains the nobles. |

| I thought it was really interesting that the base of this episode was from Shinoa's fooling around and leaving Yuu behind. Normally in any other anime, leaving him behind and picking him back up would just be a comedy scene. |

Shinoa's really good at trolling and getting everyone in trouble. But it seems that she learned her lesson this time.  Pretty good fight but their teamwork is sorely lacking.. Yuu has come a long way from S1 and he seems more mature now. I like how he took the blame for his team being late or how he reflected on his defeat instead of throwing a tantrum.  |
