| Everyone's so fucked up in this series which is why in my book it's a masterpiece and I believe it's incredibly underrated and overshadowed by series inundated by fanservice and moe. I hate Mika but I loved how she was so blase when Seiji said he'd kill her for Celty's head. |

| In the first season, Mika was important just because she "looks like celty's head" and nothing more. Because of this, after that arc was resolved, Mika was not relevant anymore. She became a mere side character; but after this episode... she's still a side character, but we discover that she does not want her and Seiji becomes important in the plot!! I like how this episode reintroduces Mika, exploding her personality by developing her skills! Let's admit it: If it wasn't for Seiji, she could easily be one of the most dangerous characters in Durarara!! |

In the first season Anri said that Mika always had the best grades and she was rather intelligent. She also learned how to hack computers and picking doors. And not just that, she is more athletic than we had thought, this is because she is always climbing and sneaking into other people's apartments and houses. So, after all of this, I don't think Mika's knowledge of everything that happens in the show was straightforward or came out of nowhere. Also, Mika's desire to eat Celty's head was skipped from the first season for unknown reasons, (that fact appeared in the first volume of Durarara's light novels) so we couldn't have known just by watching the anime how crazy Mika was in the beginning |

Namie is a good package. Beautiful, hot, intelligent but her incestuous interest are a huge turn off. Seiji saying that Mika's ringtone is scary has some weight in it xD MIKA WOULD EAT CELTY'S HEAD!? It’s disgusting (the incest), y’all are weird lmao... have fun kissing y’all siblings Anyways, pretty weird episode- but Mika is a badass tho, I feel bad for her since her love interest doesn’t really love her. To me, the first DRRR was about weird people trying to live their lives and together forming a greater whole of intertwined events; I loved how the plot was formed by the tiny fragments and contributions, and I loved the wackiness and insanity of it all. Piecing it together was such fun. Shou wasn't as charming (I already forgot most of it) and now, having seen the first sixth of Ten (all talk, nothing important happening, and to top it off, murderous incest), I think I've had enough. I'll just rewatch the first season I guess and pretend there's nothing more beyond that. -.- |
