2nd season not as memorable as 1st?

I mean the new characters were great but something was off bout this season compared to the 1st. Mayb Not enough Shaft-like tendencies, or mayb not enough Onodera.

Maybe because it should have been over by now and its fucking dragging itself through filler???

nisekoi sucks now, it was great at first but it needs to end so I can go ahead and pick it back up

I expected it. It's the exact same thing To Love-Ru did with it's "second" season. Both are Jump manga, after all.

No one reads TLR for story.
Nisekoi plot progression is also inexistant.

Exactly. Because they're Jump manga, they're just exist for as much ecchi and comedy as the author wants and will be dragged on as long as the author feels necessary.

Can a manga/anime be said to have filler if it doesn't have much of a central plot (or a focus on it)? Because, using that logic, not only is half of Nisekoi filler, but so is over half of Cowboy Bebop.

Except TLR and ESPECIALLY TLR Darkeness is all about the ecchi....which people who like that stuff get their fill every month.

Nisekoi is like School Rumble....it's a wacky rom-com that loves to tease the viewer/reader but nothing more.

I highly doubt they will ever get serious.

Everything we saw in Season 2 was part of the manga.....the reason most of it fell like filler is because that's basically what this series is now.

it's simple.

good point nisekoi: Comedy.
weak point shaft: Comedy.

shaft weak point are make comedy atmosphare. when comedy in nisekoi series are depend on atmosphare. thats why. the only comedy that works by shaft are zetsuboi sensei. but thats because script.

The first one was better in the first half and somewhere near the season finale.
Second season is a lazy cash-grab that is by no way SHAFT's fault. The manga is basically fillers what can they do?
This is a lost cause and will only end when the author dies

More like as long as it's popular and selling. And then after losing popularity it'll just get an abrupt or rushed ending due to being axed.

Shaft screwed fans over. Bad animation, bad scripting, bad directing. The end.

God, Nisekoi is really fun to read about because there's so much hatred and fangirling. It's a show, a good adaptation of a decent manga. Have fun and watch it. It's not supposed to go anywhere. Suspend your disbelief about plot progression and actual romance, and this show is simply funny and pretty. It's not as if the comedy in the original manga was godly; it's generally fine, and that's how this season was. Generally fine.

Yeah, season 2 is worse than season 1. The only reason I'm giving it the same grade as season 1 was because of the Chitoge's mother arc, which I actually liked and helped raise the grade a little.

At this point, I think people only keep watching Nisekoi because they like complaining about it. Like me.

I didn't say it wasn't. It is Jump we're talking about.

I don't know why there's so much hatred. I thought this season was funnier than the first. I know, it does feel filler-ish and not as good as the first, but everyone seems to care too much about the plot when it's entirely irrelevant in this anime anyway.

I completely agree
Chitoge is a far better character

Development my ass. Kosaki has none. Even after 10 more volumes, she will be the same indecisive, flustered, overly shy otaku waifu bait.I 'd rather read a Shounen ai between Raku and Shu.

Bad direction, no continuity, jumping chapter from chapter and the lack of plot direction(which could still be enjoyable but the points before doesn't help it),
Pretty much what I think was wrong.

haru is just kosaki with all the good parts taken out also I wonder why people expect proper plot progression from a harem anime(even though I am one of those people)

Because if the story actually advances, then there would be a point to watching this. No story progression=No point to watching this=Waste of time.

The best thing that happened was chitoge's mother arc and Shu x the teacher episode.

The worst thing was Haru.
