Oh what the hell is she doing now? Staying right outside the showers with those delusional thoughts...nothing less expected from Moyako. And of course she had to fall into the bath too...

Great to see this. Although I enjoyed OVA 1, I felt that it was a bit uneven. Of
course, it is common that it takes a while for an anime to get properly started.

Luckily, there is the set of 6 fan-made shorts which, despite their amateur Flash
animation, actually did a better job of telling the story. They are referred to as
"fan disks" (ファンディスク). The voice performers for the drama CD (ドラマCD)
were involved.

It is interesting how this seems to be a kind of juxtaposition of two different
genres, which is unusual. So in the start of the episode we saw several nutty
yonkoma (four-panel comic-style) gags. But then it switched to the school,
where there seems to be some kind of story going on. So it is like having two
animes joined together. Weird, but it works for me.

It's good to see that Akira's classmate Fuuka Saeki (冴木風花) has joined the
story. Her surname is "Saeki" (冴木), so normally people would address her as
"Saeki-san". Was it strange that Moyako almost immediately started calling
her "Fuuka-chan"?

I wasn't as excited to see Moyako's classmate, the blonde transfer student
Burisa Umehira. She seems goofy and maybe is just there for comic relief.

After picking up the manga following Episode 1, I decided to watch this raw, which is something i rarely do. Luckily i was able to understand a fair amount, and reading the (only 25 chapters of translated) manga helped a bit.

I enjoyed it a fair amount, only character I could barely understand was ironically the foreign transfer student Burisa.. The foreigner Japanese accent is really hard to understand, and I've noticed this before in numerous other anime that stereotype "Gaijin".

Episode 3 looks really promising, with more "new" content since the manga is being translated at a snails pace. I do wonder if there will ever be romance of any sort (the genre doesn't indicate it as such), since there are numerous potential ships floating around.

Will rewatch when it gets subbed. 5/5

Every time I re-watch the episode, I just find Burisa so, so annoying. I rarely
find anime characters annoying. Yes, she speaks very quickly and unclearly. The
canonical "foreign transfer student" or "foreign exchange student" usually speaks
in Japanese very slowly.

Much, much more is revealed about Burisa in future manga volumes. She is not
merely a one-dimensional background character.

Well, Fuuka Saeki is sitting right next to Akira. They certainly aren't ignoring
each other. He's a dude and she's a chick. I'll tentatively ship them.

At 15:40, it was good to see that the 姉部 (Ane-bu / Older sister club) has so
many members. They have smart-looking white uniforms and matching pink
headbands.

At 16:05, the 弟拒否部 (Otōto kyohi-bu) only has three members so far. Their
red uniforms look great. Otōto (弟) means "younger brother". Bu (部) means
"club". The phrase kyohi (拒否) can mean "reject", "refuse" or "deny". So...
"Younger Brother Rejection Club" ?

Lazily, I had earlier failed to watch to the end of the closing credits, so I had
missed seeing the PV for OVA 3. It looks like there might be some swimsuit
fanservice. It won't be easy waiting another 3 to 4 months.

I can only understand a small fraction of spoken Japanese. But I always watch
raws. There is more and more great stuff which comes out raw but apparently
never gets subbed. Prior to watching, I read the English and Japanese Wikipedia
articles as well as the official website for the series. They always introduce the
characters and provide a brief summary of each episode (usually posted even
before the episode airs). So I am not totally lost. Also, each series has an official
Twitter account. There is usually other stuff too.

If anybody is desperate for more information, there is an excellent Japanese-
language Wikipedia article on the series. It is jam-packed with interesting but
fairly minor spoilers, including specifying the manga volume number and page
number where they occur. (Please be careful not to mention the minor spoilers
here in the MAL episode discussion threads, except inside tags.) Here it is:
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%A7%89%E3%83%AD%E3%82%B0_%E9%9D%84%E5%AD%90%E5%A7%89%E3%81%95%E3%82%93%E3%81%AE%E6%AD%A2%E3%81%BE%E3%82%89%E3%81%AA%E3%81%84%E3%83%A2%E3%83%8E%E3%83%AD%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B0

Even if you can't read Japanese, you can still cut-and-paste into online translation
tools, which is what I do. Google Translate works well. With a little bit of practice,
navigating these long articles isn't as overwhelming as it might look. The article for
each anime series has almost exactly the same format.

By the way, 99.9% of anime series have a detailed Japanese-language Wikipedia
article. They are well worth a look if you don't mind the minor spoilers. In addition,
90% have English-language Wikipedia articles as well, but the content is very
different. I always gather these tools before I start to watch a new series.

She is the real bro-con and say Akira is a sis-con...he might not even remember what he say when he was a kid lol.
Still funny.

A premonition that could become boring and without any verve, narration, he warned. Much more fun the previous episode, the new characters have not helped much. Brisa, however, is very funny in his speeches and more. XD

Why is everyone watching this raw? It's been available on Blu-ray for years before I even got into anime, lol

Moyako is making everyone think Akira is a hyper pervert, and he has no idea. Even innocuous football talk is scandalous to her, lol.
