| You know... they are the "Imperial Demon Army" and all but do they really have to use bows (even if they are echanted) to shoot down attack helicopters? A single Phalanx CIWS or SAM on the wall would've taken out not only the attack helicopters in a few seconds but even faster the plane before it even remotely came near the wall. A Phalanx CIWS could also mow down alot of vampires, of which I think many aren't fast enough to evade the bullets. And even if bullets are less effective, they still probably rip them apart by the sheer force and firerate. The vampires really are a bit smarter in the case, who just still use human military weaponry even though they have all their supernatural powers. Shouldn't the humans be even better and more prepared at that? Also, why didn't Yoichi shoot down the second helicopter right after it's first flyby? He really waited until the last second and had to be called to then react like "Oh right, I have long distance weapon that can one-shot the thing! Maybe I should use it..." |

| I was thinking the same. Vampires rule the world so they have most of the worlds artillery, so humans just have whatever they were able to get back and the cursed weapons. |

| Some pretty nice action to open up the episode. Felt bad seeing Mika struggling to decide whether or not he should drink the blood. We've been introduced to Gurens team, hopefully we get to see them in action at some point. Looks like we'll see Guren in action next episode so I'm looking forward to that. And it also looks like Mika and Yu will meet next episode....... Lol at Shinoa, "you're worth less than the shit lying on the ground!" Hilarious Also, Yoichi needs to learn how to shoot down the helicopters without someone having to say his name first..... |

| Not feeling these fillers...they lost a lot of time this week that I feel could've been better spent. So many of these scenes were so much better in the manga, they were portrayed in much more exciting ways. I feel like the anime is making the series look way worse than it is. I was so excited at the beginning of the episode because I thought the animators were finally getting their act together, but alas no, there was still plenty of questionable art/animation as the episode continued. Am I just picky? That being said, it looks like next week one of my favorite parts of the series is animated. Please, PLEASE may it be well-done. |

| Interesting changes/additions from the manga. They've actually added more fillerish stuff that'll slow down the pace of this arc/series of events. I don't know if it's been confirmed that both seasons are supposed to cover the entire story or not. However, I just finished reading up to Ch. 33 and there is just no way that I'm seeing both of these seasons being able to finish the story imo (I'm almost positive that the manga won't be done by December 2015 either). Anyway, it was an ok build up for the epic shit-show that is to come in the next two episodes. Can't wait. This is the real Shingeki no Kyojin - Season 2. |

| I was actually pleasantly surprised with the action sequences because I wasn't expecting much quality at this point. The fillers are fine too. I'd say that actually bodes quite well for the final run. I just hope the climax is given enough attention to detail to really have an impact. |

| Guren has some good looking girls in his unit, and they're pretty badass too! Norito seems pretty chill as well. Mika swerving away Krul's glass of blood just to drink from her hand made it almost look like he wasn't going to be satisfied with just that amount. I see how it is.. :3 Pretty sure Yuu will end up taking more than 3 pills at once at some point, but will be able to fight just fine. Since 10% of him isn't human to begin with, that might justify the cause; giving him a higher advantage over the others. Above average episode. Animation quality declined but it wasn't anything major. The build up made up for it. Looking forward to Guren vs. Mika next week. |

| I like the episode so much! The pacing was great, especially if the anime really wanted to end up the first season up to ch. 15~ The animation are good The battles was epic. The appearance of Guren's squad is also awesome. Mito is OP! Mika's more past is revealed and the reason why he is still growing despite being a vampire. Ferid being creepy as usual. LOL And that preview..... Even though I already prepared for 9 weeks, I think I am still not ready to see that scene... T^T |

Finally we got some (not too much tho) action in this episode. :D I thought Mika is drinking animal blood or something that's why he is different from the others. So he is drinking loli vampire's blood. Well I don't know how I feel about this... I don't really like Krul.I need that Mika-Yuu reunion NOW because my fangirl heart can't take this anymore T-T And I also need more sassy Ferid. xD |
| Finally the war for Shinjuku finally breaks out. The extra filler wasn't too bad as well and was a fitting addition. It also looks like we get a quick glimpse of Guren's badass squad finally. |

| Why does this show have all of Attack on Titan's derps but none of Attack on Titan's awesomeness in the visual department. It being a Jump manga, you'd think that would mean that Wit is working with a reasonable budget. Instead we've now gotten AoT's episode 10 twice now in 9 episodes. |

| Another good episode. Though I wasn't a fan of the anime original filler stuff. Manga readers: was that shit in the beginning with them taking out the helicopters and the team fighting some scrubs anime original too? My memory of the early chaps is a little vague. So I guess they really plan on stretching out the remaining episodes so that the epic climax is how the first half finishes. Was kind of hoping they'd finish it a bit early, and then set up the beginning of the events for the second half. Guess not. So it looks like next week its Guren v Mika. Judging from Mika's face in the preview and the shot of them prepping to take the pills, it'll also reach the point where Yuu and team join that fight and Mika sees Yuu. Though since they do seem to be stretching out this battle till the first half finale, I'm predicting that particular scene wont happen towards the latter half of the episode. Almost towards the end. Humans probably don't have access to those weapons since they control so little territory. What I don't understand is why the vampires couldn't have just shot rockets from far away (apache's have long distance capability) or used precision bombing, or just plain old artillery. I understand why don't want to kill everyone there so stuff like carpet bombing and what not is out of the picture but damn, I think it was a mistake showing the vampires using human weaponry. Well first off, they don't have any of those guns. As you can see, most of the military equipment was taken by the vampires as soon as the apocalypse hit. That's why the humans barely have functioning jeeps. Second. They could hit a vampire with millions of bullets, but it will never kill them. Every single person in the army has a weapon with some kind of enchantment on it, that's the only way to damage a vampire and be able to kill it. (for example: when kid Yuu shot Ferid in the head with the flintlock pistol. A lethal blow, but it was just a plain gun. Also when Yuu cut the arm off the vampire that attacked the school, the regular sword didn't destroy the body, hence when Guren stepped in and stabbed her). |

| Decent episode. I can't help thinking it makes no sense at all to block freaking bullets with those weapons though. No wonder I think this show could use a little more depth. It would be much more believable and logical if their weapons gave them interesting powers, such as the ability to sustain a temporary force field that blocks regular projectiles. The weapons could also have specific powers, such as arrows that freeze everything around the area they land, maybe that dual wielding guy could become a little more agile than the others, that scythe could actually have a fire-related power, etc. Then, make the overarching plot more detailed by exploring meaningful aspects of the current situation - the origin of the vampires, why they behave the way they do, what their beliefs are, etc. Instead of making everything look black and white, show more moral ambiguity. Now, we have the template for a great show as long as the budget is decent enough to fix the background and animation. I mean, this is one of the few shows I'm still watching this season, but I see so much wasted potential in it that it's hard not to bring that up. |
| Wooooow, I need next episode now :( Mika vs. Guren, I didn't expect that coming so soon. Nice to see Guren's team, from the first impression I liked the long hair girl and the blond guy. The other two girls seem meh. War is finally here, fights here and there, showing how Yu's team are working together was great. Sadly they've got separated. I really want everyone (Yu's team + Guren) to see the moment when Yu meets Mika. Also, I am glad they've answered one of my biggest questions: Does Mika drink human blood? I was happy with the answer somehow but that means he can't live without Cruel :/ |

| Why is Horn Skuld the only girl in this entire anime that doesn't have the face of a 10 year old? Has no one told the character designers that if you make a girl as tall as a man, give her noticeable tits, but then give her an infantile face she looks fucking stupid lmao? Also Krul's entire design is more gross every time, when will we finally be rid of this creepyass loli pandering sexualised child that has "she's a vampire so it doesn't matter!!!!" plastered on her forehead as though that magically makes the fact that she looks like she could be in a genderbent Boku No Pico ok? I expect this shit from ecchis, not vampire shonen, jesus christ. |
