That was almost like a date.

Reiji in the spotlight this episode with Haruka. They have somewhat of a decent chemistry I guess. Lol the "magic tricks" of this series is priceless.

Announcement of his solo song during his radio show, and it's ED to the magic show he does with his kouhais. Meeting for the song on his antique car. He told her that he was in the industry since kid. After some exciting talk, it is decided to have a song to make everyone happy. Red hair guy of the ST☆RISH getting others to check on the magic. The kouhais are depressed over their sempai are ahead of them in everything.

lol @ the other members of Quartet Night not sad about him leaving for work. So quick, she got the song for him before his departure. Wow, the surprised message video is recorded!! He cannot wait to perform and sung in front of her of the completed song, and confessed to her. She still has to make one for Quartet Night.

o.... that was... slightly disappointing actually...

i was rather looking forward to reiji's episode bc i thought they'd talk about The Thing... but they didn't and i suppose yea that was to be expected; it's probably too much to squeeze into just one ep. i rather enjoyed their chemistry bc out of the qn since reiji probably gets along best w haruka (well obviously since all the other qn members are very cold lol) so that was nice to watch.

but really other than that, what was going on this whole episode ?????? reiji was probably the least developed out of all the senpai episodes and that's including ai's *haha i'm actually a robot* episode too. 'i didn't think you'd find the real me' my goddamn ass. what about the episode revealed anything about the real you???? all we saw this episode was you being really damn good at your job and really only very SUBTLY hinting at your past w that scene at the river. you didn't talk about ur goddamn 'real self' at all and if you did most of it was thrown in at the end with your song and even then it was still only hinted at. speaking of the end, it had me so shocked like '????!!!!!!???' for the whole second before reiji added 'lol just kidding'. what... was the point of that? was it for real? was it just for the shock factor??

look reiji's great so i honestly think he deserved better than this and ok, maybe i lied, i'm not slightly disappointed, i'm actually fuming a little ??? at least the song was good!! hopefully things will pick back up next week now that they're done w the solo and cross unit songs...

I also thought he'd talk about his past with Aine, but yeah it'd take too much time for a single episode to cover

I'm being serious, I'd take too much time because even in "All Star After Secret" he's still not completely over it in one of the routes.
correct me if I'm wrong in some details, It's been a while since I played All Star

I personally like Reiji a bunch and in the games, I always look foward his routes because he has a nice chemistry with Haruka. I felt they put a bit more effort with his relationship with Haruka here because he always seemed like the "main" Quartet Night. Nice episode, I'd say it was good as Camus's episode and the song was fun, will definitely repeat.

The anime covers almost nothing about the boys, I think the only boys who have somehow characters decently exposed are Natsuki and Tokiya. There's some big stuff going on in the games, but if the anime decided to cover it they'd have to leave the status quo. They can't do that because it'd make them choose a particular route and piss off part of the fanbase. It's all about not losing the $$.

I still think all the adaptations of otome/otaku VNs should have the same formart as Amagami, everyone ends up winning. Pity Omnibus format is extinct now.

Despite there being no discussion of Aine or any of Reiji's past, I found the episode pleasant. I think that would be a good word for it. In terms of Reiji's relationship with Nanami it was done well. Reiji is the only of the senpai I find actually work with her personality wise and Ai as well some. The other 2 are boo for me even in games. I feel they did a good job showing their chemistry and connection. She seemed to return interest in him and that is another thing that is present in the games where as with the others not so much. There actually seemed to be a touch on some romance i this episode and nice development between Reiji and Nanami.

So far they haven't touched on any of the senpai's actual backstories. It's been kind of dull and they have not given us what they could with them. They're just half assed.

The song was much so Reiji like! I was surprised as I was expecting to be let down on it.

Overall, not a bad episode.

I agree, they really should've talked more about his past so he could get some development. As much as I appreciate Otoya and Tokiya getting lots of screentime this episode, they really should've just cut out the magic trick parts and replaced it with scenes that would've actually showed/told us more of Reiji's past.

Anyway, the song's backdrop and the song itself were pretty nice. Wasn't sure what type of song we'd get but I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I never would have known a single thing about Reiji or the other boy's pasts had I not read up on the comments.... The anime didn't hint upon it at all. I feel like the only thing I look forward to in every episode of Revolutions is the last 1 to 2 minuets Song of the Week. The rest of the anime can pretty much be omitted because barely any plot is involved.

"i love you..... JUST KIDDING"
reiji pls

reading some of the posts here, it's actually sad that most characters' development and backstory was pretty much omitted. would've been so much better than this dull song of the week format that s3 currently has.

uhh yeah i maybe worded that badly. yeah they did, but the episodes still had lots of character interactions, cheesiness and comedic moments. and this season kind of lacks that and just feels dull imo.

Oh, I see, so that's what you meant. But yeah, I agree with you on that part, the plot feels kind of boring compared to the other seasons.

Holy crap, really?

I actually liked this episode but yeah....that makes it sad that they didn't develop that more.

Reiji got balls though; LOL at Tokiya and Otoya looking super mad while Reiji is just stealing their precious Haruka.

i thought the episode was quite lovely until it stopped making sense? like there was build up to reiji and i thought there would be some backstory or some actual angst instead of just "gurl u know the real me!!! :D" pretentious bullshit

the song was good. i like this over ai and camus' songs lol

reiji's a precious angel~

Reiji just stole the spotlight the whole episode.

Love the song, that melody really hits me. And the lyrics are nice. Felt a bit magical. <33

Aww, I knew the characters were underdeveloped, but now I feel like it was a pretty shallow/pointless episode after reading the comments. Reiji didn't really have any struggles, so I think if they added that bit of his background it would've been splendid.

And here I thought Reiji"s "real" self would be disclosed. Thought wrong. I guess his real self is just his current self, a funny joker. But I actually prefer him to any other guy in the show.

All of the other guys are weak, aside from Reiji! They all like Haruka but they don't do anything about it. And when someone tries to sweep her off her feet and take the lead, they feel insecure and awkward. Come on!

Adding comedy in at this point of series? Not that I mind, it's better to be late than never.

Reiji x Nanami might be better than I thought. Guess he's the main Quartet Night guy. Liked his song quite a bit.

I think it was one of the better episodes. The end was nice with how Reiji confessed in a teasing manner but I wanted more. Like what is his real self like (from Haruka's perspective) and how will she find it out. He deserves one more episode.

That was the most confusing episode this season.

You know what? Reiji desreves rights and should just date Haruka already. He's the only one who actually did something and confessed. I'm tired of these pvssy ass boys who just don't do anything and just throw out whatever hints they think would get through Nanami's thick skull.
