Welp double date time.

Funny how Hachiman still and always has that same look on his face. He doesn't seem to have fun at the theaters either. I find it amusing at what he saw here or rather his brief reaction when Yumiko fell down. It looks like Yui and Yukino dropped by as well...can't say I'm surprised by that though. In regards to love, I just find it funny how Hachiman takes it so casually.

And look who else dropped by:

Date mainly for the popular guy. The main guy realized the feeling before was just misunderstanding and felt he had proper ending about it when going with them. Then meeting the girl was appointed for student council and that long hair guy. Wow, she's scary. Then that popular guy, who understands main guy, called both of them off from keep comparing the two guys by calling main two girls.

Both girls wanted to nominate! Cool girl doing for proving he's not hated by everyone and cheerful girl doing for proving herself she can do anything and not wanting to lose the club. The younger sister's entrance at the end was kind of scary.

Good episode all in all.
Hayama's social suicide
Hiki's face after Yumiko fell
Iroha showing off a little of her true personality to Hiki
Haruka being a scary b*tch as always (but she's cool so hell yeah)
Yukinoshita and Yui's resolve
Yui and Hiki's convo
what really caught me off guard was the ED, Komachi was scary.

Cant wait for the next one!!! thus our drama school life anime continues.

They did a fantastic job adapting this episode. Brilliant.

They really brought to the forefront the tension and sense of unease in the air between the members of the Service Club. And they made the scene of Hayama doing a "Hachiman" special really well. The faces on the girls when Hayama slaps them down was priceless.

The highlight of the episode was Hachiman saying PIINNKK!! I love that they kept that.

Both Yui and Yukino will now run for the Student Council and the stage is set for each of them using their own methods in order to "win". Next episode will be goood.

Best episode so far imo.

Iroha's starting to show her real persona. The scene was very pleasant for my heart.

Hayama's starting to show himself as "not-so-nice" guy, and 8man angered on him for pitying his methods of solving problems.

Being Yui is suffering. But that 8man-Yui convo scene + the piano piece of S1' ED song insert are just.... beautiful.

yea, he is probably the first lol

Well.. so tense. It's just like Yui said, everybody is selfish, even for their own reason.

Hayama did surprise me this time, it's kinda unexpected from him to say that kind of thing

Yui finally takes an action, and we'll need to wait till next week to see what will happen

Hayama only did it because he thought Hachiman wanted to be saved that way. He hated doing it the way he thought Hachiman would do it though, so I'm pretty sure he regretted doing that in the end. Still good to see the girls being called out for their behavior.

Just dropping by to say I watched it raw.

Yukino thinks she has her way of doing things, yet it baffled me on her decision to go for the elections. Doesn't that mean she is actually planning to fix others' issues by putting it on herself (much like Hikigaya)? I thought she cared for the club, but maybe she cares for Hikigaya more after all. And then Yui's subtle confession was pretty hard to take. That bye-bye almost pierced right through me.

As for the Mr. Popular Guy: Does Hayama really think he can understand how Hikigaya feels just because they both seem to find it difficult when it comes to relationship? Wow! that was rubbish because their circumstances are entirely different. And he just made the situation worse for Hikigaya seemingly acting the righteous (at least that must be what he thought he did there). Such a douche.

And I am not liking Haruno's role tbh. I still want to believe she does these things for Yukino's sake. I really dunno what's with her anymore.

Imouto's anger at the end of the episode summed up my overall impression of the episode. Great episode nonetheless. :)

Edit: Forgot to add how I wanted Hikigaya's crush (might as well say from middle school) to find out about Yukino and Yui after the previous episode yet when it actually happened I wished it never happened. :|

It was just the wind pushing over the bikes, not Kaoris doing. At least that's how it is described in the LN.

That scene feels like it's telling Hikigaya "See, this day can get even worse!".

Hachiman and Iroha's relationship is actually pretty fun, for Hachiman to read between the lines like that. The whole issue she brought up, though. :/

That really was a upfront thing to say, especially from Hayama. Still, to capture a slice of Hachiman's feelings like that was a great scene.

The scene with Yui at the end, teared up a little. To step in to not be just a support, but as an entirely different force/method. To want to protect her happiness through her own hands, it really was quite the scene.

Brilliant episode yet again this week

Iroha showing her true colours was funny and I kinda prefer that side of her rather than her cutesy side (Primarily because when it comes to being cute Yui will always be #1), she's pretty scary I must admit xD

Not sure whether or not I can call Hayama a bro but his actions in this episode was really admirable..When he told those girls off (Especially the bitch that 8man used to like) I was like SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT lol....But the ending of the scene raised a lot of questions because going by the camp flashback, Hayama clearly has a crush on one of the Yukinoshita sisters and sadly I think that it's Yukino :( I can already smell the drama that this situation will unfold

Haruka has really grow on me as well and I think that out of everyone now, I like her interactions/dynamic with Hachiman the most out of everyone....If He and Yukino actually gets together and become a couple I can only imagine how fun it'd be if she hung out with them because imo it's already like they're in-laws xDD She was kind of a bitch to Yukino in this but that's nothing new lol

The last part with Yukino and Yui was pretty well done and I like how things are changing between them with both Yui and Yukino competing against each other but there clearly another reason behind all of this......The final scene with Yui and Hachiman was really sweet and when she said that she loved their club it really made me happy inside

The drama is starting to kill me but I can't get enough of it and I want more so I'm really hyped for the remainder of these episodes

Seems like Hikki's starting to lose momentum. Now Hayo is questioning Hikki's methods of doing things. Well at least it was delicious to see Hayo tell off those ratchet girls who pretty much acted like total snobs.

The bike scene felt like a silent WWE pipe bomb. It's as if Hikki is being told things will only go downhill if he continues down his path of loneliness. I mean, we don't have to go too far, Komachi his little sister is still pissed at Hikki. It's only a matter of time before she says those hurtful 3 words, "I hate you".

The confession at the end, things just got a bit more interesting.

Yui vs Yukinon.

Someone needs to create the episode thread, you know?

The best thing about stark is he still manages to write a decent review at the end of every single anime he skims through week-in week-out at the end of the season. If you ask me, he is a genius. :D

Yukinon refuses to back down from running for President because she abhors the idea of 8man throwing himself to the wolves for the x-th time

8man still doesn't understand how his actions affect the people close to him since he thinks he's still a loner. Kind of sad when you think about it. He's so content with his low perception of himself he can't see how his situation has changed for the better

Yui is going to try and impede both of their plans since 8man or Yukinon's plan would break up the club if either are successful.

Not sure if I said it here or somewhere else but the funny thing about all the drama going on is it would be non existent if everyone had honest talks with one another. No deception, no roundabout way of saying things. I guess that's what highschool drama is all about though : P

Another great episode! Hayama and Hachiman go on a double date. Orimoto kept making fun of Hachiman which was really getting annoying. Hayama actually shut the 2 girls down was unexpectedly cool. I wonder if we'll see Orimoto later. Seeing Yumiko fall over from wearing those shoes was hilarious. Oh my goodness, Iroha was so cute and funny this episode. I seriously want to see more of Iroha, she's just a really interesting character. xD Haruno is always plotting things, pretty scary. Yukino ends up changing her mind to run for school council president.

That whole moment with Yui and Hachiman walking home together was the best, especially with the instrumental version of the S1 ED 'Hello Alone'. It made me like Yui a lot more and now she wants to run for school council president but on her own free will. Also, was that an indirect confession to Hachiman?! Man, these feels... Komachi opening the door at the end, still looking pissed. D: Overall, great episode and can't wait for more Yahari next week.

Looks like a can of worms has been opened, tons of issues going on with various characters. 8-man seems to be in a downwards spiral, seeing how everyone's against his self-destructive way of doing things. Last scene was pretty sweet, quite an indirect confession which 8-man seemed to have picked up on, what its true intention is will be a question mark. Komachi seems to have a few things to say, can't wait for next episode! :O

Orimoto and her bitch friend were friggin' annoying as F the entire time! Loved how Hayato told them off, even though I don't really like his character either. But I did agree when he said Hachiman should realize his true worth. He wasn't necessarily pitying him there.

> "Pantsu! Pink! Igai!" *Walks off after getting a good glimpse* I died! XD

Hachiman reading between Iroha's cutesy act was hilarious! "You've got some balls to be goofing off with chicks while you've got work to do." LOL!

Not sure how to feel about Haruno, but I do like how she meddles with Hachiman. She kind of reminds me of Izaya from Durarara from the way she acts.

Figured Yui would try to do something to stabilize the tension between Hachiman and Yukino, which was really nice of her. Though, I wonder if she'll end up getting elected as the president.
Dem feels when she was talking about how she loves the club. ;_;

Great episode once again. Komachi is still mad at Hachiman it seems. Hopefully we'll see them make up soon.

First off, I need more NOW.

Second, I saw someone else state it, but Hachiman is not a loner anymore. He likes to think that he still is, but he is really not. Though unsaid, Hachiman is friends or at least connected by a lot to Yukinon and Yui. People in this show are very "hidden" and cryptic, so they won't straight up say "Stop doing how you handle problems because they hurt your friends, like us, too." But that's pretty much what I'm seeing and Yui completely sees that. She doesn't want her club or should I say her "squad" to break up so she picks a method she believes will save it. Man this anime is seriously one of my favorites of all time.

Anyways, Hayama shutting those annoying girls down was amazing. Pulled a Hachiman there.

That was his intention, it was to show hachiman how he looks when he does stuff like that. He didn't actually want to do it, not that way at least but he was trying to help hachiman, I suppose his end game was that hachiman would realize how messed up he does things in the presence of yukinon and yui but of course, if it were that easy people wouldn't be going to these extremes to make him realize.

Because he has such an extremely low self-esteem that he wouldn't even believe for a second that some people could actually care for him. This is his biggest character flaw imo
