| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice, that kicked off pretty well with a memorable song. I also kinda like this new OP song. Animation feels slightly different though but it was a good way to get back into the series again with the main characters back. Yukino hasn't really changed much though. Funny to see Hina in this again and lol:  Overall fun start so far with the trip. Can't wait to see what else this season has to offer. Kinda like the new ED song. |

| Starting with after the school festival, then new request came about confessing to the megane girl with risk. And that girl is into BL mood for two guys. Trip to Kyoto. The pair is in good mood, and the aloof guy is conscious about the girl who try to be friendly to everyone is getting near him. The teacher trying to escape but found out by cool girl and aloof guy, so they got force to be with her until late. Awkward moment until arriving to hotel. ED was nice. That title, I feel bad about the result. Anyways, Kyoto trip continued. |

| Despite the changes of producers, I do like the new designs. Pretty decent first episode. Lots of characters from last season appear in this episode on the trip. Shippin is real Saika x Hachiman  Also the walking scene with Hachiman and Yukino was pretty cute. |

| The previous animation/art is better, this one looks... low-budget stuff. At least, it is not a drastic change. Don't think I will prioritize this series. That's the thing with harem and love triangle, once you are shipping one pair, any other scenes with another love potential become (very) less interesting. |

This is stupid :( Just gonna throw out there: the first season covered six volumes in 12 episodes, so roughly half a volume per episodes as well. |
| only watched about half raw just to get the feel for it pretty much felt like more Yahari! can't comment on the pacing but other than that just need to get used to the art change and this might turn out well. |

| All the parts they skipped were not super important to begin with. I say this with having read the light novels and seen last season and this RAW. The adaptation is fine so far. |
| So to sum up the discussion: 1. Too rushed - season 1 did 6 volumes in 12 episodes, this has the same pace. 2. Art style is bad - Different studio. At least it aint Liden 3. Borrowed sound effects - really......really. Fuck anime fans are hard to please. |

| No LN reader so I didn't see a big difference in pacing compared to season 1.The new artstyle is okay aswell imo. It was an okay episode overall. |

| The first episode is fine, although you can see they are rushing it. Hachiman looks kind of stiff, like he's going to fall asleep rather than doesn't give a damn about anything. The director is notorious for not understanding the appeal of the original material (Minami-ke Okaeri, Outbreak Company), let's hope he gets it right this time. |
| Great, they made Yui go through a breast reduction surgery and Hachiman looks like a crackhead that can't get his fix. At least Saika is still cute. |
| I don't know where's all the complain coming from (well, I never read the novel) but for someone who just saw the first episode, to me, the episode looked absolutely okay. As a matter of fact, I really liked the episode. The Yukino and Yui moments were nicely balanced so I don't see what to complain about particularly for those who like one over the other. I liked the art from S1 better, but I will get used to it. It's not as bad as many comments above me are suggesting, it's just about getting used to the new style. This was one of my top picks, and it will remain for the rest of the season. The dialogues and monologues were straight from where season 1 left off. Yukino isn't as harsh as she was in the beginning of season 1 and Yui is still doing her best to let her feelings known. They toned down Hikki's monologues a bit, but that's just probably how it is in the source material. Next episode will most likely be the return of everyone's favourite Hikigaya Hachiman. :) |

| They changed up the art, I'm having to get used to this all over again. It's not bad, per say, just different..... it's like they forgot how to draw it in the old Tora-Dora fashion and decided to go with the latest animation SOL trend or something... Overall I can't comment on the pacing cause I'm not up to speed on the LN myself, but... Hachiman is back! That's all that matters Maddapakkas! |

| I'm SO glad this is back, I had such a great time with this first episode. The animation is better this time around and I don't really mind the art style to be honest. Gah, I missed Yui's 'yahallos' so much. xD I laughed so hard during the scenes with Saika and Hachiman, especially the train part. :D Yukino trying to take a plush from the souvenir store and notices Hachiman is looking and walks away, that was cute. What's even cuter is her blushing about walking back together and then her saying thank you. HNNNNNGGGGG! It did feel quite rushed at times, like skipping the whole eating ramen part but I still really enjoyed this first episode. I can't wait for more! |
