| The fiftieth and final chapter of Taiyou no Ie was published yesterday in the March issue of Kodansha's magazine Dessert. At the end of the chapter, it was announced that a bangai-hen (side-story) will begin serialization in the next issue, to be released on February 24th. The first part of the side story will focus on Nakamura Hiro's co-worker Sugimoto, also known as "Radical." The slice-of-life, romance manga series by Taamo began serialization in April 2010. On December 12, 2014, the twelfth volume containing chapters 45–48 was published and it charted 23rd in its first week on Oricon's manga rankings. | This deserves an anime adaptation tbh. The news doesn't surprise me though with the development of the latest chapter. Not sure what I think about the spinoff...unless it can really do something that outshines the original, a feat I think would be quite difficult. |

| I found out when the chapter came out and said next would be last :( IT HURT :( It was one of the few shoujo that I wasn't disappointed generally. But better that way, otherwise it would probably disappoint me like many others did. |
