| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It was okay. Character designs are pretty consistent on most parts and animation quality is above average. They introduced most of the main characters. Sanada sure likes to take some risky moves though. And lol, I wasn't expecting guns to be used as weapons in this. But on most parts, I thought the action was well done. |

| it is an adaptation of a musou series and delivered on what i expected from it so i am happy. nothing amazing but fun to watch. and +1 for yuko suzuhana op and ed |

| I feel like this was an anime made for the fans of the game like me. I loved it, thought it was leagues better than Sengoku Basara anyway which I thought was crap. But having bought the CE of SW4 just to get the movie (which I enjoyed) I am happy this game is finally getting an anime even if it wont be a very long one. |

| Pretty decent opening episode. We got Nene and Kunoichi so I'm fine :P Sad to see the Hideyoshi's gonna go so soon. I loved the ending as well. |

| Well I liked it. Awesome cast, righteousness, interesting story and character dynamics, engaging action with decent animation, and lots of righteousness. Righteous Kanetsugu claiming everything is because of love. Jouji's Tokugawa is perfect. Even got Ono and Sugita. Interested to see what how things are handled with Mitsunari and Tokugawa, and of course the brothers. Probably my sleeper pick for the season, like Sengoku era shows usually are. I should probably watch the OVA. |

| As a fan of the Samurai Warriors video game franchise, I thought this first episode was amazing! Nice intro to the characters and getting to see the unification of Japan in one episode was well done also! Looking forward to next weeks episode and what looks like an amazing anime based on the game! |

| Dropped. I lost some IQ watching that. As someone who had play Totaly War: Shogun 2, watching Yukimura charge through hail of Matchlock fire and deflect bullets with his spear is unbearable. The fight are childish and strategy is almost non existence. At the ending, they really try to leave out why Hideyoshi is hyping the groups up to work together. I guess invading Korea and going to war with China is something they want to act like it didn't happen huh. |

Did you seriously expect a more realistic show from a game where you singehandedly murder 1000 of enemies in just one battle? This anime is making me wonder why I'm wasting time watching it instead of just going and playing the game. I can see why it looks terrible to people not familiar with Samurai Warriors, since it wasn't anything special even to someone who loves Dynasty Warriors games. |

| That was soooo average. I'll give it a couple more episodes, but I don't think I'll keep watching if it continues to be this plain. I hope they didn't expect us to remember all those names. Sanada is the only one that stuck with me. |

| My favorite console game is made into anime. The costume design is ripped straight from the game so of course it's really flashy. The story focuses on Sanada brothers and the after story of Japan unification so I don't think I'm gonna see Mitsuhide Akechi, Magoichi Saika (sigh~), or anything related to Oda clan. I hope they also made Dynasty Warriors or Warriors Orochi into anime (^▽^) |

| Had to take a stretch break before I officially doze off. Prior to this I was curious about the games so I searched it up and I must say, it looks way better in 3DCGI rather than 2D...anyways, the best thing about the episode for me was the Naruto-like music. Was really surprised that the composer is not Takanashi Yasuharu. I have Sengoku Basara on-hold at episode 3 I think and I think this might go to the drop list instead. We'll see. Maybe I'll like it in another two. |
| Exceot for the beginning and the last seconds of the episodes, it looked like the last episode and not the first one. They made Hideyoshi pretty nice here, so I wonder what exuse they'll have for Ieyasu to take his place... After all, his goal was achived here, so I did they have to start a war to reunite Japan again? |

| Pretty slow. :/ Even the fighting scenes were a bit disappointing, in my opinion. OP was okay, but I absolutely LOVED the ED. Nothing else to say, really. |

| Basically a less flashy Sengoku Basara. It still has that absurd combat, but with some clear signs of budget limitations making it both less visually stunning and far less absurd (though still quite out there). If they peel away from the action and instead focus on plot and characters, it could end up being decent, but we'll see how it goes. Leagues better than the OVA though, whose only saving grace was the nice depiction of tactics. |
