| Gibson is such a horrible father, I mean his parenting skills are ridiculous. I understand you can be hard on your child when needed, but when they travel to come see you for some serious advice because of a problem they are having you don't make fun of them. that was cruel and to be honest I don't know what Gibson Jr. expected from him, he knows his dad doesn't say the right words and he doesn't know how to convey his feelings, so it was a waste of his time really. I really want Goro to overcome this obstacle. I'm growing impatient with him being the way he is. I miss that overconfident smug of his. I know it takes time to overcome these things but can we have a time skip or something? anyway Gibson coming back to the majors? ehhh...... |

| Completely agree with the TC; this seems to be the easiest, most predictable way to write Goro out of his slump but honestly I kind of doubt the show will take that route for some reason. It could be that I have enough faith in the writing staff to expect them to come up with something better. |

| Ugh, pathetic, they both were so fricken pathetic they made some dude who just got heart surgery come back out of retirement. Well hopefully this will be enough to kick Goro back into gear, I really don't like seeing the current, lackluster Goro. It seems kind of random too be honest, his dream of "facing Gibson" wasn't until Junior High if I recall correctly, so you have to question yourself, why on Earth did he try so hard in Little League then? I think Goro had ALWAYS been playing Baseball to be better at the game, since it was the game he loved, and yet here we see him saying he has no goal? Pfft. |

| Gibson is such a great man. I'm sure he is doing it just for the sake of his two idiot sons: Junior & Gorou. I mean it, he was somewhat a figure of father for Gorou. Otherwise, I'm sure he would be staying retired. From the beginning of the series, without even considering the situation he's in, as soon as any strong opponent appeared Gorou would have challanged to him, I always thought that side of him was irritating. BUT NOW I take it back. I miss my passionate Gorou so much! |

| i really don't like goro like this, and it's still very strange for goro for "recovering" from yips, it's kinda destroying major realistic, and it also hard to me still to believe that his goal have a lot to do with it, i want my goro back. gibson comeback wasn't secret as everyone said, the op clearly told us that, and to say the reason for his retrieval is for goro/junior is low excuse forplot convenience, the directing of the season is fine but the story is so predictable. |
| Junior vs Goro here was a far cry from the heated battle during the World Cup especially Goro who would always opted for risky moves has become weak with those lackluster pitches. I'm not too happy to see Gibson return from retirement as that would be too easy of an solution. |
