| 6.60 score? o_O Why? This anime is great! Next ep is going to be awesome :D It'll have the events I've been mostly looking forward to. Though I didn't expect it to happen just yet. Oh and looks like Ronja might be falling for Birk xD |

| Part of Ronja misses Birk ^^ The old man's taunts xD Those scout missions! Mattis trying to reach the other side was really funny :D The guy playing golf him wigging his behind xD Getting the high grounds was smart! Lill-Klippen with the two ladder was just as good! Poor guy xD later gettin shot by an arrow! Liked how they all started fighting from a chain reaction! *Tries to stop fight*, someone says something, the person stopping it gets pissed xD Well this was an enjoyable one. Snowball and lots of snow next episode! Hmm, the soldiers planning to get the castle after winter passes. Maybe the two groups of robbers would work together to defend their home! |

| Aspects that I think are affecting the score: The use of CG. Expectations from the studio or book that wasn't met. Not liking the simplicity/atmosphere. Actually, I feel that it might not even be a matter of liking it or not. The x number episode rule hinders some people to grasp the atmosphere fully. Anime like these needs build up imo. As I grow attach to them, the stuff they do means that much more. |

| The old man is easily the best character of the show. Loved how he ridiculed Mattis for being a weak leader. XD Using ladders to reach the other side is a good idea, but wouldn't it be better to lay down the ladders before getting on it? Not that it would've helped much anyways, as those Borka robbers were quite fast to act. Those rainy scenes were marvelous! BASED Studio Ghibli! Really wished they did the character design too. Chain dispute over trivial matters was pretty funny! That little guitar music while they fought was pretty awesome though. Ah, seems like Ronja somewhat misses Birk. Where did that guy go really? Good episode. Snow time next week looks fun as well! |

Haha yeah that part was funny XD Result of everyone being on edge I guess. Would've liked to see some Birk, I miss him as much as Ronja does (though she thinks she doesn't). He's the only other one her age, and it's always more fun with someone near your age, like a playmate. |
| Man, I really didn't think I'd like this show this much. All the characters are so charming and the art is way better than I originally gave it credit for. I wish more people had bothered to give this a chance, especially when it's by a studio that's so hyped and worshipped. |

| So far? It's good! I haven't read the book but: - 20 men, 2 women and 2 children all living together makes for an... ODD situation! - The "economics" aren't explored, they steal stuff... and do what with it? They seem self-sufficient. Of course it's rare that economies play a role in any anime (except Spice & Wolf! lolz!) That's always the weakness of bandits: they have to live somewhere, and they have to buy things somewhere. Find & cut off one of those and they are doomed (or have to move away). The commander of the soldiers seems like a smart guy, he knows better than to try to storm the "Eagle's Nest" eh? |
| The scenes when Ronja walk in the rain made me feel I was there, touching the wet ground and smelling the scent of wet grass. She really loves the forest. :) Btw I miss Birk too D: |

| The more I watch this series the more I prefer the Borka crew more in both design and characters aside from the wives, cause that other one has a giant nose. I mean they're all thieves, but Borka at least tried to create a peaceful meeting, apparently they taught Birk that the woods belonged to everyone with the animals where you don't own foxes and idk these guys just seem to be blood thirsty morons. Hell Borka and his crew could of just raided them over night during their sleep when they first climbed that big mountain thing due to Birk and the main crew didn't even know they were on their territory. |

| I don't think that any of this was in the old movie, but I don't know about the books, so it felt kind of like filler to me. The forest was so pretty, I felt like I could almost smell it. Next time the ... rassálfar will appear. I have no idea what the original or the english name for them is. I watched the movie in icelandic as a kid. If I had to directly translate rassálfar it would mean ass elves but i'm pretty sure that if this has ever been translated into english this would not be their name, lol, I guess that word is less offensive in my language. |
