And Maetel saves day again. Apparently Maetel has some kind of super gun. I wonder if this god dude gave it to her? Tetsudo saw right through Maetel's lies about another doctor healing him. I wonder what is normal medical care level in the universe? Could they actually heal people that fast?

Anyway, forgetting the train windows (in space) and how they opened them so high up. Say it wasn't really meant to be technically realistic,

This sure was an interesting episode mainly about Maetel, I mean she was near dead, but then she saves the day as usual! Really interesting development though, but well let's see what's next.

The repetitiveness is strong with this series... How many (health) miracles will be needed before Tetsuro stops brushing them away? -_-
Moreover, the part around Maetel's secret was rather uninteresting since this was more or less already shown earlier.

What's the moral of this episode supposed to be about anyway? A defense of social inequality? Making fun of vegans?

I didn't expect 2 really good episodes in a row. What a treat.
-More Maetel plot. She's such a mystery. The way that Godly voice talks to her makes it seem like she's some sort of Prophet or something. Also, given that in an earlier episode she was able to destroy 2 planets...I wonder what's up with this girl? And why is it so important to that God that she protects Tetsuro. I hope we get to see more of this. Maetel is definitely a very interesting character.
-Also sometimes the voice acting in this show is sooo good.
>"He'll be fine, I just broke his leg."
Lmao you shot it completely off and he fell into a big pit. I don't think he'll be fine.
-It's pretty cool that Tetsuro caught on that Maetel was lying about something.
I'm pretty excited to see where this series goes.

@Tsukaji
I know I'm very late on this, but I'm pretty sure that gun was shown in an earlier episode.

I think you're reading a bit much into it. It was pretty clear at the end that they were trying to say something about survival of the fittest going too far (this is also shown when the metal guy talks about sacrificing Tetsuro for pretty much no reason). It was kind of a dumb and forced message at the end, but I still liked the episode because of some of the other things.
EDIT:
Updated signature because Tinypic is shutting down.

I don't think so. Go back and read what Maetel says about why the planet is armored. The inhabitants put armor on everything so there would be no predation. It is because of that fact Maetel says life has declined on the planet. It's literally the opposite of criticizing "survival of fittest."

Good point. I think the episode is more like it's trying to tell that Survival of the Fittest is a harsh thing, I guess. I don't think it's necessarily criticizing it, I think it's just trying to say it's a harsh truth. This show has a lot of preachy morals, but I don't think it was trying to put down vegans or defend social inequalities. I think this episode was just a harsh lesson to Tetsuro.

Could be, since someone is always saying "space is harsh", "you won't survive in space", etc.

Of course Tetsurou doesn't understand why Maetel is cured. In fact, it is a mysterious story that delights me every episode.

Also, Tetsurou has learned how life works... In order for it to continue, other living beings must be sacrificed. It is the law of survival, after all.

Maetel almost died again, but some mysterious force saved her.

That was a sad planet. Nature is a cruel thing.

Tetsuro is starting to question himself how 'Maetel' keep surviving'
Maetel has a 'God' that keeps her alive. Probably also give her weapons.

Curious whoi this 'God' is that let Maetel alive. And what's the mission he said before.
