| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that got tense in the beginning. Really liked the OST they used for the Legendary Crystal scenes. Seriously though, poor Tuxedo Mask. No wonder Usagi is going through that pain in this episode. It looks like we find out more about the Moon Kingdom. A lot of emotions and fear this episode. I sure as hell hope they can get back Tuxedo Mask by going to the moon. |

Act 9 Serenity - Princess (an actual discussion) Endymyon X Serenity gah the feels! :) :( whoa she transformed into Princess Serenity right away. was not expecting that! very emotional scene, (even though it was cut by commercials, damn hulu). that scene with her and endymyion in the past somehow reminded me of akatsuki no yona, i guess just cuz of the princess x knight (body guard part). I never thought the seal would be broken that easily either, The Legenday Silver Crystal has finally appeared! AAAAnd Queen Beryl shows her face as soon as that. the voice acting was superb imo, specially's usagi's :( i felt for her when she cried for Mamoru. :( and the animation/art/colors are all so vibrant and beautiful! haha Queen Berryl thought the crystal ended up in his mamoru's body. I thought she took him for ransom. The four knights kinda feel of Mamoru as their familiar. So they "worked with him" in the past? It's all kind going waaaay to fast, and its barely episode 9, but hey, somehow makes it more interesting. Totally different from the original. waah, what was up with usagi's hair?!?! But tha scene with all of them around the princess <3 Going to the moon they go!, that was surprising to me as it was to them. holy crap, they surprise me more and more with each episode. <3usagi edit: PS that OT by Moon Pride is growing on me! |

| Wow, so this episode finally revealed half of the truth! And Usagi being Princess Serenity! What a turn of events. Usagi's hair tho... So beautiful. Since I read the Chapter for this episode, I guess they'll explain that next time... Travelling to moon next time! And the silver-haired Serenity will appear next time? Ooooohhh. |

I picked up on that too, and I'm very excited to see how they're going to handle that change. Definitely something that I've wanted to see more of and glad to see this version seems to be picking up and telling us a bit more about them. |

The other 3 seem to be remembering where they've seen Endymion. The OST used for the clock moving backwards scene was very soothing but sad at the same time. Episode 9 is by far the most powerful episode in terms of emotions thus far. It was sad to see Usagi in such depression. To add to the episode, Sailor Venus showed she's the true leader of the group. Next episode, trip to the moon. |

| Wow. Props to Mitsuishi Kotono for the superb voice acting. Her scream when Mamo-chan was taken away broke my heart. |

| Seriously, I'm loving this way more than the predecessor in terms of emotion. The scene where Mamoru was taken away and Usagi screaming his name was so emotional that I almost cried. I was waiting for this episode with much anticipation and my expectations paid off. Waiting for the next episode. |
| I actually cried hearing Usagi screaming/crying... omg, so sad. Her VA did a great job. The animation still horrible tho. |

| Very disappointed with the art, and soundtrack. This newer version just feels superficial in terms of plot etc (I loved the manga but the anime version feels horrible!). I missed how they had different sound tracks for different moods, like daily scenes, sad memories, hope etc.. |

| Damn. Now, this was an episode to watch. We've definitely broken from the early introductory and formulaic episode structures and got some awesome moments and moving scenes in this one. I thought that the creators and VAs did a good job conveying Usagi's emotions and pain. It was definitely my favorite episode so far. We've finally gotten a good grasp on the mystery behind Princess Serenity and the Moon Kingdom and it looks like fireworks are ready to go off in the next few episodes. |

| I actually thought, that the princess episode would come soon- because there are already nearly half of the anime over, and all sailors are appeared now. -> Girls! Don't forget to tell your parents, where you want to travel!! xD |

| How the fuck am I supposed to get emotional over a girl who met this dude 8 episodes ago and has such boring interactions with him, even when he's Tuxedo Mask? Usagi not shutting up about ~Tuxedo Kamen~ the entire damn episode was annoying. Her voice and scream was annoying. Sorry, but I can't give a shit about a romance or emotions this girl has over a dude she hardly knows. There was no god damn development, emotionally, between the two. Like, he kisses her without her consent a few times, bring her to her house, saves her because 'WE DON T NEED MEN'S PROTECTION' and suddenly I should be emotional over this? Those flashbacks didn't help either. This is so terrible. The writing is literally godawful. |

Guess that's why I couldn't tell that her VA was doing a good job or not since others thought it was a good performance. No Kunzite, don't ignore the fact that you thought Endymion is someone you knew :( |
| Usagi's seiyuu was really impressive although the crying got a bit too much xDD I don't really like the shriek of her voice though I loved the manga and the first anime adaption but I really like how this is following the manga step by step. They just need to air it every week instead of once every other week T^T Since we're on episode 9 now and there's a total of 26 episodes so far, they're going to continue with another arc or two? |
| This episode was kinda boring. The plot is moving along alright, but still it was just Sailor Moon crying for an half an hour and doing nothing else. Overall it wasn't a bad episode, just boring. I'm so glade I got the old show today on DVD/Blue-Ray. That I''m enjoying more then this. |
| Damn I don't think Usagi got that loud in the original series. Looks like the endgame is coming faster than I thought compared to before. I really wonder how this will end up. |

| The Shitennou are feeling some sense of familiarity with Tuxedo Mask/Endymion. I like the changes frm the manga so far. Kunzite, just admit that you have some form of recollection :D A bit of a slow episode. But the pace should pick up in the next one. Hopefully Sailor Venus' full transformation sequence will be shown |
| As much as I love this new series, the sound track, direction and animation are ass, I like the story. |

| I am really loving, they are fixing all the mistakes that the first sailor moon anime did. I always did find out Usagi's manga more likeable, and exactly the same is happening to me with this Usagi, now that they are finally following the manga as it should. |

| I'm liking this more and more since we've largely skipped the monster of the week straitjacket of the first series and have concentrated on the important and plot relevant events. I'm also looking forward to see what the mangaka's original intention was for the Shitennou, since it looks like they are reworking that part of the story to follow through on it. This was a pretty emotional episode and made up for the (in)famous Toei animation quality. |

| I love the episode! Pretty intense episode! I really love Mitsuishi, Kotono performance!! Seems she still has it all these years :) I do agree she sounds like a kid screaming at Mamoru. Still Usagi is a child after all :P Really love Ami's visors! I wish she would wear those more often! So she's really Princess Serenity in the first place! And Mamoru is Endymion? So what was the event where he lost his parents and memories?? Jadiete is still alive! When Usagi started to break down non-stop. I kinda wanted her to be bright slap by Minako :P I mean, i know your still a child, but you need to grow up if you want to save Mamoru! Their going to the moon and relive their memories. Gonna be amazing for sure! Can't wait for the next episode! Another 2 week waiting T__T |

| This is the best this show has looked, I think. The alarm clock falling on the ground was the best animation I've seen from it, sadly. I've always wanted to see HOW Usagi and Mamoru fell in love exactly. That's been a weak point for me in any version, them getting to know each other and whatnot. I think that would make us care a lot more in a different way. |
| woah o_o. I didn't think I was into this anime much but this episode made me get teary. I must be more invested in it then I thought. I'm rooting for ya, Usagi and Tuxedo-kun. :'-) |

| This was a really good episode! Though I struggle to think someone who did not watch the original series, read the manga or grew up with Sailor Moon would get much character connection from this series alone. I think it would have been a good idea to insert at least four more episodes dedicated to each scout and Usagi's interactions with them. I know that would mess up the air dates... which is why I'll fall back on the fact they should have made the full 26 episodes void of R. |
