| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought the episode was okay, loved some of the more comedic moments but it looks like their trip to the other world continues. That Karin girl is a bit busy imo. Comedy was much lighter this episode which is cute I guess. Looks like this is taking place a month and a half afterwards. >Everything's going to be fun from now on Oh I hope so. |

| Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww now THAT was more of what I was expecting of this show before it came out, sweet enough to give ya diabetes! :D If you missed everything before the opening credits you really mighta thought it was pure slice of life. Highly, highly enjoyable. |

| Well that's the fifth one dead. Even if they weren't the ones to kill it. This newcomer has quite the attitude. Seems rather conceited. "Your work here is done" - eh?? She takes everything so much more seriously than the others. She's probably right, at least in that respect. Such conflicting feelings and emotions there. | TSUNDERE ALERT. Didn't like her at the beginning - but that quickly changed for me by the end of the episode. Liked majority of the comedic moments here. "How do they eat so much?" Not "they" Karin, how did Fu manage to eat so much lol. 5 Vertex down, 7 to go huh. "Everything's going to be fun from now on" I certainly hope so. Message app is pretty cool. |

| The OP is really great :3 When I first saw Karin's fighting style and fashion I was liking quite a lot. Looked BA. But the moment she started spouting arrogant BS I was <_< Well she's not annoying though. More of a pretty cute tsundere XD Glad she's not the irritating type ^^; |

| So a new girl joined the group and she seems to have trouble adapting from the looks of it. Still she accepted the group in the end even tho she didn't want to except them from the start. It was nice to see her change her opinion a bit. Makes me wonder how the next battle will go tho, my guess is that they will have to work together on the next enemy else they won't defeat it. But time will tell. |

| Karin was quite funny when joining the club! Karin easily gives in and follows through too ^^ The others planning to celebrate Karin's birthday at the festival but went to her house later. Karin's reaction :) Her practicing looks like a sword dance! The app is pretty cool and the picture in the end. |

| Not a bad episode. I was hoping for more mahou shoujo action, but I guess they can't dedicate the whole episode to that kind of stuff. This episode felt pretty rushed, and the new character is kind of annoying. I don't see why she as to be so mad all the time! So there's a "gravity" in this situation? Looks like it will get more dark o_o Also I like Yuki Yuna's faery. |

| New character~! :3 Karin Miyoshi. She's snobby and bratty, but she cute too. Especially when she's all shy and embarrassed around the other members. x3 Oh man, this reminds me A LOT like Madoka Magica.....I just hope it isn't the same.....I don't want any of these characters to die.......;_; Cute episode so far, dual wielding sword is awesome. xD |

| I like Karin, nice tsundere. I just hope she doesn't die, she doesn't show up in the OP so I am worried she might. Dang so moe. Wait- are they losing part of their memories now? Felt like a foreshadowing. Really lliked their conversation on that mob app.The OST was great, too. Another great episode, this show never stops delivering. |

| They will include her in the OP starting next episode (I believe?) Same thing happened with Tougou transformation on last episodes opening. And today when I watched it I thought there is a lot of space between them at the last photo at the OP which made my wonder if they will introduce new chars latter on and add them on the OP (which happened this episode). I loved this episode way more than the first two. Sadly for the wrong reasons :| I enjoy the characters and the SOL element a lot but when they fight it's super lame. Oh well. I do hope for more episodes like this although I doubt it. #TsunderePOWAH |

| I swore Kyou- I mean that tsundere's voice actress was Rie Kugimiya, so I got excited but I guess not. (*Edit: Well now I can tell her voice is clearly different, whoops) Oh yeah I always wondered why Togo-san has three familiars or whatever. She seems powerful enough on her own. Maybe it will foreshadow into something. MC x tsundere is totally gonna be a thing, I can sense it. Prepare your charm Togo-san! She's eating achovi- sardines. SARDINES. ohmy, quite the warrior indeed. Oh my god they're all QTs. I want to try botamochi now. And I need that messaging app wow. Anywho, seems to be a rather tame series so far, but we're only into episode 3 and you know how Puella went along so-- Until the next episode. |

It's human nature to want to classify and compare things, and Madoka is probably the most popular magical girl show among Western audiences that's come out in the last 5-10 years. So it's hardly surprising that it's the first show people around here would bring up. That said, a lot of the tropes people are pointing out as Madoka parallels are common to many magical girl shows. And Madoka itself referenced a lot of common magical girl tropes because it was deliberately written as a deconstruction of the entire genre. So newer anime fans who have seen Madoka without seeing most of the older shows it was actually deconstructing - like Cardcaptor Sakura, Nanoha, Precure, and the original Sailor Moon - aren't going to have the reference points they need to distinguish between what's a Madoka parallel and what's just another common magical girl trope. |

| New girl is a bit of an arrogant and a tsundere. Good thing there's the others to make things lighthearted and amusing. I still have that dread that things will go down sooner or later. |
