That giant Koala warrior or whatever it is made me chuckle while some of the character rivalries were amusing to watch. The hero gimmick made me laugh this episode since as I thought the mood and scene was priceless with the soundtrack. |

| Ikumi's sense of smell doesn't lead to the culprit, but is very good at picking up highly perverted stuff... Have those girls become so attuned to debating things that they will start doing it for anything? A 'letter' pieced together from remnants from the fire, a 'customer opinion card' outside a shop, a lost cat sign, ema hung up at a shrine... After Ikumi abandons the others, they get suspicious and start stalking her. Which leads eventually to information about Ikumi's childhood, and the hero she admired - Koganen. Which finally explains that scene in the ED. |

| If you look at the resumes of their past work, there is an excellent team behind this series. But they got off to a bad start in Episode 1. I blame the poor story telling on insufficient time to adapt the light novel into the anime storyboard. Ultimately, that was a management decision, based on pressure to have it air this cour as opposed to the next cour. I suspect that the production team was not at fault. In any case, I strongly feel that these people have pulled this series out of the t**l*t. Telling a great story in the form of a light novel is a completely different activity from telling a great story through an anime. It is not a matter of adapting a light novel so much as coming up with a new work of art which is inspired by the original. At this point, I think that they are firing on all cylinders. Unfortunately, they lost a lot of audience in the very beginning. However, over the past two weeks, Jinsei jumped sharply from 1300 to 1800 Amazon Stalker points for Blu-ray pre-orders. Thanks go to Rederoin for maintaining those lists of his: http://rederoin.motionsforum.com/t266-estimates-v2 As for Ikumi's remarkable sense of smell, I doubt that she could detect a Blu-ray or DVD buried in the grass, but perhaps a "bVb" disc case gives off a strong odor. Ikumi had some spotlight in this episode but I felt like it didn't really go anywhere besides the fact that the market superhero is her inspiration. Emi is a main character right? So why is this show half way done and not a hint of her is even shown? Less fanservice replaced with actual hentai in this episode too. |

| This time, the craziness and the humor seen in the narrative, make it enjoyable episode. Summing up what we have seen, I have not bored and I liked it a lot more than two previous episodes. Drawings and animations of good quality, we see who is behind the famous cult called HHH. BattousaiLuffy said: Believe in Koganen! Ditto. |
