Second greatest....after K-ON!. ;)  Love Live is like Super K-On on steroids though with better characters that are more attractive, have more personality, are funnier when they interact, do more things, have actual individual as well as group goals and actually pursue said goals and put in the practice work to be good at what they do instead of just laying around eating cake and exchanging bad jokes. Sunrise basically managed the impossible with it in getting me to actually kind of like moe moe characters and their moe moe show. |

| More Love Live! I love this anime. Another idol anime getting an anime film. No recap of the first two seasons please. I wasn't surprise on the announcement considering the number of Vol. 1 BD's this season has sold plus the sales they are getting from the CD's android & ios game and other stuffs. |

| This series surprised me. I'm usually a hardcore cynic and shows that are this ridiculously heartwarming are likely to make me want to vomit, but this series somehow smashed through my cynicism, and I actually enjoyed it. Considering that it is popular, I suppose it is no surprise that more would be made. I haven't yet seen the final episode, but it looks like the show is heading toward either a logical conclusion or a surprising turning point. It could be risky to continue the show beyond this point; there is some danger that it could jump the shark. However, aside from some jerky animation, the creators have done a good job with it so far, so hopefully they can pull off a good movie, and hopefully the animation budget will be higher for the next installment. |
