That was certainly an unusual turn for things to take. Kuro and Keita get to face finally get to face Reishin. We get that synchro from them almost, and it seems Keita has picked up all kinds of terra tricks. But they still can’t seem to pull off any fight with much success. It seemed pretty convenient that not only Steiner and Excel showed up, but Yakumo and Riona, too. Somebody had to be a plot device there. The dialogue seemed weak, but the episode was really all about the action, especially by comparison to the last one. That long battle between Reishin, and Steiner and Excel was actually not bad, and I was genuinely surprised by its conclusion, he was one of the better characters. I’d like to say we have an answer about Daichi’s true nature from this one, but this really only left more questions. They really threw a lot into the end of this episode, and they to do that a lot. It’s always btw, here’s tons more plot twists. They overloaded us with ‘watch out for Reishin’ and ‘I have to kill my brother’ for the past eleven episodes. I hope this episode wasn’t their way of saying, okay, that’s that—here’s the new thing to deal with. Even with all that action, still kind of anticlimactic. With this plot turnaround, it seems like it might become another show altogether. I don’t know what to think of what they’re doing with this.

The dialogue really was crappy this episode... The showdown was typical shounen battle, and what's up with Yakumo, Steiner, Excel and Riona showing up at the most critical moment >_> Lot of action and it's time for the new arc next time. I hope second half of the show will be better than first one.

the death of kuro's brother was anti climatic. i thought there would be a bigger confrontation b/w kuro and him. guess not? anyways. i was sad when steiner died. excel and steiner were my favorite characters. they were pretty badass. also, i don't know what daichi is thinking. let's see how this pans out.

Cool battle, didn't expect things to go the way it turned out. Reishin's death or watever didn't feel that big at all.

I agree. I also think in the end we will find out his motive for destroying the stones is different from what everyone thinks.

Reishin is dead! I do not want him back at all.
Keita's friend is mysterious with his plan. Conspiracy?

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm sad about Steiner's death. Why are all my favorite characters dying (including the loli in episode 1)? ;_;

Oh well, Part 1 is over. Time for PART 2!!!

That was a pretty intense fight. I don't really think Reishin is dead and he's probably not bad either. He could have killed Kuro countless times, yet he never has. Maybe he killed his family because they were the bad ones. Well, I'm sure whatever truth there is will be exposed eventually.

Fail battle between Kuro and Reishin, but shows that Keita is willing to fight for Kuro's sake now. Sucks for Steiner, that died in battle to protect Kuro and Keita. Crappy ending for Reishin IMO

Good battle scenes in this overall, Kuro won my respect by leaving the battle to help a friend out. Though I did feel that it was a bit too convenient for everyone to show up and help out when they did. Well, we have reached the half way point folks!

steiner was the best character in this series imo, why did they kill him off? was it neccessary? man this series has me on edge, it fluctuates between good and horrible too often. im surprised i even made it half way.
Needs more Drill Hair.

The fights are decent when they involve someone other than Kuro and Keita.
