I was ok with dragging this manga too long and some of those pointless filler chapters, but come on, that is not acceptable.
Bittersweet ending for me, that gave me a complete bad taste.
Thank god, Yuzuki beat Haruto to it and came up with the name for their kid, otherwise we all know who the poor kid would have been named after.
Anyway, I am just gonna pretend it ended right after the wedding, since all I cared about was seeing Yuzuki and Haruto together; chef thing would have been a plus, but it was ruin.
This manga got a 4/10 from me.

yeah but the shamefulk thing is that seo only puts his focus on haruto and yuzuki. all of the other characters grow off panel

this thing happened in suzuka and was forgivable because there were only a less characters but with KNIM seo just keeps adding characters that we demand what the fuck just happened. and now he'll do the same with suzuka. heck, i wonder if daiki will get his own series he'll get a girl who looks like asuka, akari, or rin and let's hope he's not as stupid as his parents-_-

Funny, I am complaining cause he didn't just center on Haruto and Yuzuki. I mean, he did wasted time coming up for a closure with other characters. Perhaps Rin was the only important that is missing. It would be kind of lame to come up for a closure for other secondary characters in KNIM. Actually, I thought Suzuka secondary characters were actually more interesting than those random chicks that came up in KNIM. Come on you can compare Yamato's friend, Arima, Honoka, Suzuka's friend...... to job hunting girl, lesbian chick that are missing.

Breaks up with her, so she can become a professional player.
Haruto comes up with a beer named after her.
Come back to her later on, she forgives him.
They get married, Haruto on his restaurant watching the game next to Kazama's helmet.
She became a professional player.

Better than Anagami versions, it would be much better to have a spin of of her moving on, and continue that same time line and meeting somebody other than Haruto. Come on, with Haruto still part of the story there is gonna be the same lame plot.

i would love to see an asuka spinoff centering around her character since she seems to be the most important character that need to show some development.

anyway, if angato is getting a spinoff then asuka should get one too. though we may not be getting it if seo doesn't care. i could be wrong though. i mean me being wrong about an asuka spinoff never coming makes much more sense that this whole crappy final arc.

yes, the characters seem less important but i would just agree with any of the readers for questioning what happened to the characters and who were they like that job hunting girl who seems very interesting because you can sympathize with everything she is going through which makes it kind of relatable and seo seemed to have been starting to develop that lesbian and was never shown again after chapter 209. and that fujikawa kid seemed like a character you just didn't seem to care for since he seemed rather a little annoying and had only 3 full appearances including a cameo in chapter 247 and 261. it just seemed like a total waste using characters that you've created and do so little with them just so you can focus on haruto when all you do is create more misunderstandings and trolling.

I actually kinda respected Seo for having Haruto and Yuzuki break up. was kinda looking forward to what(and who) Haruto did next. but I guess this is good too. I can always just pick one of the fantasy chapters and pretend it's actually what happened.

Anyways, it's been a rollercoaster ride. Regardless of the ups and downs, I'm still saddened to see KNIM end since I've followed it for so long.

let's hope he doesn't share his parent's brains because one haruto wasn't even enough. it might turn out to be a piece of shit but at least we could quite possibly enjoy it. i know i said this alot and i don't have any interest anymore since this chapter is done hut since this manga is over and maybe seo might be crazy enough to do this but during fuuka or maybe even a mention in daiki's jhnew series, you think seo will kill yuzuki like back when her mother died because ever since yuzuki was a kid she died so i wonder if seo will do something like that fopr some forced crap. i don't know. i wouldn't want to write something like that but i bet you seo will.

so if daiki is the main character you think one of his love interst will be one of takashi's kids because he mentioned he had two in the final chapter? heck, because i was thinking of how a girl who is like rin could be intersting to give it some interesting psychology. maybe she'll look like either rin or maybe asuka since with a hairstyle like that it could prbably fit her character.

i know you and anyone who read this are sick of me saying this but i could really go for some amagami ss versions. the version you would surprisingly hear me say that i want the msot is rin. i mean just think how much effort you can put into their relationship. the interesting psychology before and maybe even during their relationship. it could take some inspiration from nozoki ana or maybe you want to go as fatr as aku no hana btu make sure that it doesn't take too much from aku no hana because with a character like rin, i'm not sure you can go as far as to make her like nakamura. this could take the entire chapter to finish wish i don't care. i mean yeah, me and some other people would like to see one on nanami, asuka, akari, and quite possibly shiho but rin is actually the one we dream to see psychology qwise. you now agree with what i said?

Not a bad ending. I mean, imo Seo handled very bad the series after chap. 170 (too many fillers, fanservice and this weird last arc), so the story could had had a better development before chapter 261, but even so this chapter was pretty good to close the story. A decent ending for almost all the characters, despite I missed Nanami's bf... (maybe they broke up after all).

I give this series around 6 or 7 of 10. You can hate the outcome, but Seo is good in pass emotions and build up tension. However, the lack of consistency and character development in crucial moments make the series lose some points.

Don't hope see me in Fuuka forums soon. I finally learned my lesson with this author, and his series are an interesting read when already finished, but before that they're also a rage roller coaster.

Seo trying to be clever by naming the final chapter with the same title as the first one of this series.

Wow. Can this be stickied and referred to for all eternity as the very definition of a rushed ending? Because, holy shit, "LETS RESOLVE EVERYTHING THAT SEO FUCKED UP IN THE FINAL CHAPTER."
Haruto drops everything and becomes a chef, Haruto and Yuzuki get married, and everybody that even has a remote role in Haruto's journey appears in the wedding.

I really wonder what was going on in Seo's head when he thought this would make a stellar ending.

And Fuuka fanservice already, before the actual fucking series about her. I can already expect QUALITY storytelling in that one...

Guess I'll be trashing/bashing the Fuuka threads now, I need my weekly anger releases now that Kimi no Iru Machi is over.

I personally thought that the ending was a little rushed, but I'm glad it finally ended. The wedding scene was kinda similar to suzuka, so it wasn't very original. I just hope the new one that just came out doesn't end up going the same directions this one did.

It's finally over.
I'm satisfied by the ending, it was about what we were expecting/hoping (well except for Spider).

Seo did tie almost all loose ends, just like jose21 has a few days earlier.
Seeing Asuka as Japan's first softball ace was nice.
I don't care about the job hunting girl and the lesbo... they are third rank characters. The only one I'm kinda disappointed about not having real closure is Rin :(

Haruto finally becoming a chef was good too. I don't think he wasted his time working at Sungree 'cause it gave him some meaningful experience in project management and marketing which is always a good thing before going into business. Though, if he was going to quit the job after a few years, he could of quit to stay with Yuzuki in the first place... it was really just a stupid plot device to make her wait for him.
It may have been more interesting to have 60 chapters of Haruto striving to become a chef rather than the disappointing job hunting arc and real life arc.

All in all, I enjoyed the ride, even though it lasted only about 6 months for me since I started reading last summer. I liked the ups and downs and I will never forget the most memorable scenes. Some even got me too tear up for heaven's sake!
I would give the entire serie a 7/10. It would have been a 9 if it had stopped at chapter 173 or 200. Hiroshima arc is the best.

yeah, we sure had our good times. but if seo or the editors(you know, let's blame it on the ediotrs since it just feels so wrong blaming on seo when his others works like half and half still went strong and when this manga was originally suppose to be over in may) made another shitty manga like maybe fuuka if it gets worse after the first chapter or maybe the daiki spinoff or even a manga much worse than the KNIM, fuuka, or the daiki spinoff, you can be sure that we are gonna have a blast raging at them.

anyway, wanna talk about different mangas since we have what we needed to say about this manga?

finally finish I remember abandoning this at chapter 130 reason is they break they get back together they break they get back together its an endless loop I just so this being finnish thats why I read it the series seems good

WTF new Haru works as a Chef, & he could not do it before? that's stupid, he could have worked himself up as a Chef & then buy hes own little restaurant like he did in the end & then he would have avoided the brake up, end is nice, but also stupid
