| Funimation is just fucking terrible. Pushing past that it was kinda comical. A little different than I thought it was going to be but not turned off from it. And Kana Hanazawa voice is always mmmhmmm |

| Kousaka's monologue was fucking hilarious, also: KAMI WA SHINDA. dat Nietzsche's reference. I loved this first episode and I loved the gags, it kinda reminded me BakaToTest. Just checked, it's the same Director. 5/5 and I will continue it of course. The voice actors did a MARVELOUS job here. Especially Kousaka's VA. | This just took the lead of my favorite anime so far this season. Will it hold, we will have to see because Noragami was pretty good as well. A lot of interesting characters, and as long as this has a story I think it will be pretty good. |

| The first episode left a slightly sour taste in my mouth though I'm rather curious as to why the idol wanted to stop being one and go to this agriculture school. The fight between the agriculture and animal husbandry students could develop into something interesting, but the whole thing is set to be a joke that no one could really take it so seriously....The homeroom teacher is a complete joke as well. I'll give it a few more episodes before I might drop it. The manga did not interest me at all. Though this is a fairly good episode, I feel as though they are trying too hard with the Moe/ecchi in this and also it cannot be compared to Gin No Saji (which is on a different intellectual level and not on the same level of crude as this). 4/10. This will take more than the usual expectations of anime to satisfy. |

I think people expected too much of this.. just enjoy it as your guilty pleasure. | I was wondering why no one noticed the EVA reference, then I decided to take a look at the subbed version... 15:23: "What a weird way to keep her". Really Funimation? Is this the best you can do? Original line: ”何と言う補完計画” Loosely: "What an (ingenious~) instrumentality project" Even the preceding line (which was also mistranslated btw) gives enough context to prepare you for what's coming next... "ショックから逃避したいばかりに、代償行為として、彼女と己を同一化しようとしてるのか” Funimation's "translation": "To escape from the shock, he is trying to identify himself with that girl." (代償行為として） "As an act of compensation" - completely skipped. The rhetorical tone of the sentence was left unconveyed as well. If someone, by any chance, is unfortunate enough to not have actually seen NGE... Originally, "The Human Instrumentality Project" was based on the principle of the unification of identity and consciousness on a massive scale. Similarly, MC-kun tried to "become one" with Yukatan, thus the well placed reference. P.S. Sensei best girl infernocop/10 would save anime again |

| Two rural settings in a row. Looks great like Non Non Biyori. Silver Link is on a roll. I actually thought it was the same town :P Ero-terrorist haha. Daikon legs lmao, he got his eggs cracked. Haha I thought Kousaku had a familiar voice. Same VA as SYD's Tsuda. Brilliant performance. When I saw Kei, I thought of Suguru from NNB. I mean at the end of NNB (if they're not stuck in an infinite time loop), he'd be in high school haha ^^ I don't know how I feel about sensei's "milk" pic. I wonder if that's going to be uncensored in the BD O___O |

| Pretty good first episodes, very random and very funny! I have to say, I've only watched this, Nobunagun, and Noragami, but FUNi seems to be stepping up their simulcast game! If D-Frag, Buddy Complex, and Inori.. are decent, then I'd say this is probably their best Simulcast season so far... Dat teacher @_@!! Crazy...Hot, or Crazy Hot? Probably the best comedy I've seen this season so far. I think I will definitely be watching this one. And that voice acting was top notch! Kana Hanazawa has definitely become my favorite seiyuu!! Urahara Out!! |
