Hi, I'm Fiona. I've been an on-again off-again member of MAL since 2007. I'm twenty-three (unless I've forgotten to update this recently). I live in Manila and work as a software developer.

When it comes to anime, I'm commitment anxious - you won't find many series over two cours on my list because I always balk at starting long-running series. I'm also not afraid to drop, and drop quickly - if an anime fails to hold my attention after the first episode, I'm very unlikely to give it another chance.




Tags are colour-coded for convenience (or at least, they are on all modern browsers): Each entry is tagged with year, studio, people (such as directors, writers, seiyuu), and genre.

My manga list is similarly tagged (though not with the same fastidiousness). Aside from year and genre tags, the author (or authors, if applicable) and the anthology it was serialised in are also specified. If the manga is actually a collection of oneshots, a breakdown of each oneshot's score is included in the tags, and then averaged for the compilation's score.

Don't you think MAL should allow more than seven people in the Favourite People list? Or better yet, that there should be separate lists for voice actors/composers/mangaka/directors and so on?
