Ah finally some action again this episode. I gotta say, Mirai sure is struggling a bit but Sakura too. I think it's time for her to move on with her past anyways.

lol @ idol audition, and getting BL in return. Glasses and goggles are actually different. That girl who wants megane girl killed transferred to megane girl's class. The girl was used to get youmu's power in the weapon by killing megane girl. Megane girl was able to save her, and that real enemy (he happens to wear glasses, too) appeared with the world became no ground. "Nagi"?

It is back to the usual Kyoukai no Kanata in mood and tone...

HND48, great ! Looks like the pose is from Heavy Rotation?

And finally we learn why it is called Kyoukai no Kanata...
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Action wasn't bad. Glad everything has been solved with Sakura.

Really love how in sync Hiromi and Akihito are XD So hilarious imagining Mitsuki as an idol and when they were listening to the BL XD

Sakura was pretty cute during some scenes. Lol'd at her answer to "who gave it to u?"
"A man" XD
And
"Are u planning to trash my house?"
"I don't mind" XD

Also Mirai's interrogating Akihito? Poor Akihito XD

Then Dat title drop. Let's see where this goes.

AARGH! This was a great episode, but it kinda ticks me when the enemy is nonchalantly revealed to the viewer while the characters have no idea. Don't get me wrong, I like all the small hinting that is sometimes used in anime and entertainment in general, but I prefer when it's more of a tease instead of actual reveals being done so casually (First episode 4, even if it's after the credits, and now this episode).

All in all it's probably not that big of a deal in this case, considering there's only 5 episodes left (plus those court specials which I'm curious about).

That guy seems to be pretty mysterious , few episodes ago he was talking with Izumi and now ajsnakajk. This episode was okay , the friendship-action was cliche , the ending seems to intrigue me. We'll finally going to see what exactly is "Kyoukai no Kanata" .

A bit "uhmmm , meh" for me on this episode , 4/5.
"Children of Japan. And those who were once children. Listen! This is not a dream. This is not fiction. In reality, your superheroes were always fighting. To teach viewers courage and the meaning of justice! No matter how many enemies there are. No matter how strong evil is. Just remember. Does any another country have so many heroes? Has any another country been protected by multiple superheroes? Stand with me, friends! Remember when you used to watch your superheroes!

Nice action scenes as always, and glad they've reconciliated, or at least Sakura has realized that she's wrong. It was quite easily resolved.

Looking forward to "the calm". And seems like the week for title drops (well only two but yeah ^^).

Nice to see that this show is finally getting back on track with some seriousness and action after all the comedy in the last two episodes.

Kind of figured that the juice box guy was gonna play a bigger role in this series simply by how mysterious he seemed before.

I'm looking forward to seeing a good amount improvement in the story and action of this series now that Kyoukai no Kanata was specifically mentioned at the end of the episode. Hopefully the serious mood will carry on through these next couple episodes.

I can never stand characters with weak, easily overturned resolve for their revenge. I know that wasn't the only thing driving her to kill Mirai, but I don't think that makes it any better.

I'm not sure I got this whole drama. Sakura offered sandwich to Mirai after the incident, which shows she more or less understood that Mirai had to kill Yui -- then all of a sudden, she's offered a weapon and that becomes her reason to hunt down and kill Mirai? At first I thought Sakura was out for revenge because she didn't know everything. This makes no sense now.

In any case, that guy from the spirit world association is definitely up to no good. Both the Nase family and the association are hiding something and we'll find out what soon enough, but I imagine this series can close it out with a big bang in the next 6 episodes if it handles this obviously very important arc right.

I liked this episode, but I think a lot of the problems with this series would be solved with better execution (i.e. shorter joke scenes, more attention to the plot).

What I liked most about this episode was the end though. Hopefully things will get better from here on in with more focus on the plot.

The comedy in this episode cracked me up.
The action was great but I'm kinda disappointed with how Mirai and Sakura's fight ended.
Oooooh glasses-juice-box-drinking-guy is bad O.O
The ending though~ Can't wait for next episode.

They forgot about the plant-esque yomu of the last time as if there had not been such a demon in the first place.

This time it was revealed that it was Miroku Fujima of the Spirit World Society who coaxed and used Sakura. Next episode seems going to delve into the main theme of the anime. When it falls calm, they faces something beyond the boundary of the human world. Mitsuki prepared a report on outbreak of the specular space in this episode. Perhaps the mirror surface is metaphor for the boundary between this world and the other world. Now it's understandable why she hesitated to join the lantern ritual in 4th episode.

The comedy was not funny and the drama was shallow. There was AKB48 reference in the beginning, but it was not funny and it killed the serious tension of the previous scene of Sakura. Prolly the creator put the comedy scene to avoid going too dark and heavy, but it made an adverse effect. Then there was drama about Sakura's background story and her conflict with Mirai, but the rushed reconciliation made it cheesy and shallow. I understood she came to realize she couldn't comepte with Mirai, but the execution was rushed. I chuckled when she ran up to Mirai to get along with her.

Agreed. Either they should stick with just comedy or just seriousness for an episode. :\

Agreed. The fight was also very anti-climatic and Sakura gave up pretty easily. Would have been better if they spent the last two episodes making us care about Sakura and not show that scene where she gave Mirai a sandwich. Trying to care for the characters but I just don't, the only characters I like personality-wise is Akihito and Hiromi mostly because they are funny with their fetishes. The girls in the this anime are kinda bland but look beautiful.

I am by no means a KyoAni hater, but there is something that seems off about this adaptation. I haven't felt this way since the first couple of SAO episodes, where I knew that the source material had to be better than then adaption.

Unlike SAO though, I can't quite put my finger on the problem. Or rather I can put my finger on it but it is complicated to explain. The best I could say would be the entire scene in the club room, with the bonzai, glasses fetish, the AKB references, were all very funny, but it just didn't gell. The problem is with the adaptation. A good example would be how in this episode Mirai overcomes the Human Restraints easily, but a couple of episodes again she was weak against them, so why the difference? Granted I know Sakura isn't that strong, but the whole way they built this conflict seemed to contradict what they showed before. It's like the explanations are consistent, but the animation isn't. That is an adaptation issue.
