Was a good episode, I'm looking forward to the matches and I'm still convinced that it's Satoru who's the murder. Either him, or his brother, and Satoru knows that and thinks he can play with Shion now. Loli Saori was cute too. |

| One of the best episodes so far. All suspicions and dislike for Saori was gone by the end of this episode. She was ultra-mega-sexy cute in this episode. She should wear that nice outfit (in the first half of the episode) more often. The focus on Hisatani was interesting, and the upcoming matches are going to be simply awesome. I continue my suspicions for Satoru, but I still have the feeling that he has an unexpected ally. |
| The way it looked at the end, it seems that Shion is starting to become distrustful or fearful of Satoru. I'm thinking that it'll be an intense match between the two and she might end up getting flashbacks in the middle of the game that cause her to suspect his involvment in her parents' murders. |

| So the plot thickens ever so slowly, but at least it's moving. In this episode we got to get an insight to Hisatani, which was rather interesting seeing his character develop more. My favourite scene of the episode is where Shion, Saitou and Saori met at the entrance of the Shogi Institute – it was incredibly heart-warming. I can't wait to see the next episode! It looks like three awesome matches are going on, all involving our three protagonists! I have a slight feeling that all three of them might be eliminated from the tournament, but I think that those matches would be hard fought wins/losses. |

| Satoru is definetly the killer, but I'm kind of suspecting the guy with the glasses and suit to be some kind of "helper" for Satoru. And I'm kind of wondering if Hani meijin knows/suspects anything about Satoru being the killer, or being involved... Liked this episode very much. |

| This show is kind of irking me a bit. I like the mystery aspect and have no problem with it. It's just that the shogi side of it is kind of bugging me. Just because of all these upsets that seem to be happaning that are unrealistic. In reality all three of the protagonists should lose their next matches but somehow I doubt that will happen. I dunno the next few episodes will definatly be important in my decision to continue or drop the show. |

| i think i'm really getting into this anime now! at first i wasn't really enjoying find it kind of boring D: but these last couple of episodes have really got me into this series :D i'm really interested in the next matches can't wait to see what happens! |
| Shion spoke! So she still has it in her but still needs to overcome some hurdles. I want to see her overcome this and talk some more. I was getting the slight impression that Saori might have a thing for Hisatani this episode. Maybe it was just me reading into it too much? The next matchups look like they're going to be very entertaining. I don't think all 3 2 1/2 girls will advance though. I can't imagine Saori will have a chance unfortunately. I think Hani is still far beyond her skill level. I imagine that Saito has a good chance at beating Shion's father. Satoru looks to be a very strong opponent but I'm banking on Shion to win this one. She is the title character after all :D. I just wonder what tricks, if any, Satoru has in store for their match. Hopefully it won't be a repeat of the whole 'King' thing that the little kid tried last episode. |

| Shion was able to say something! And that encounter between Satoru and Sachiko was odd, I am glad we know why in the last minutes, it was getting disturbing. |

| Shion walking up on Nikaidou with a piece of paper that says nothing but, "You smell good" is one of the more yuri-esque things I've seen in a minute. Satoru is growing more suspicious, but I'm still not convinced he's the killer. I think he's just a villain of this sub-arc. I don't think he is capable of killing, seemingly, indiscriminately. His obsession is tied to his brother. |
