| huu huu can't wait for this summer to come desu and watch the new Rozen Maiden anime. My guess is that it'll be a direct adaptation of the manga series since we can see during the pv many scenes related to it, like [SPOILERS DANGER THIS IS NOT A DRILL]: -KIRAKISHOU!! -KIRAKISHOU devouring poor chibi hichigo :'( -Sousei-seki near his master' wheelchair...etc [END SPOILERs] Oh I'll surely die happy If the manga finally could come to an end and thus lets us know the truth behind Alice and Rozen :3 I just can't bear this cliffhanger much longer, it's driving me crazy nipaaah nanu desuu (starts scratching my throat o_O). well, wait&see, and I'm happy that peach pit is still carrying on the Rozen Maiden openings <3 |

| OK seriously is this a reboot or a sequel because from what i have seen in the PV and the manga it looks like it will be a reboot but myanimelist still is posting it as a sequel after trauemend , this is the one thing that hasn't actually been confirmed yet despite all the news and updates i have read on his could somebody clarify on this ? |

I really want that sequel, I mean after all those years and they're just going to remake it? : [ ok i can understand as a fan to another a reboot might not seem to be best because you would be forced to re-watch it but most of the material from the anime is not present within that manga except maybe for the first few stories now think about this way if they reboot and follow the same as the manga than on you got a more complex and interesting story to follow, more material to cover meaning more episodes i read the manga and if they start the reboot from the beginning that would adapt at least 12 volumes of material as from what i have seen in the pv which give a good detai what there adpting meaning a season up 26 to 50 episodes which is far better than just 12 episodes don't you agree besides if u read the manga you would love the series even more its actually the first manga i read online and let me tell the manga story is far better than the anime adaption and i love the anime adaption too so that's saying something all i care about is to confirm it is it a sequel or a reboot but either way il watch it this series got a second chance that most other anime would never have so us fans are quite lucky there is more being made at all especially considering the time gap after the last one aired |

Like Jun was in university and received a box with a doll in it but it somehow tied back to the original series. So if this anime is adapting that manga it might make sense that there are seiyuu for older and younger Jun. But people that actually read the manga might be able to explain more. |

| Manga is totaly diffrent from start to end if they will follow manga that will be rebot but mal says it's seqel so Im cofused. @up watch it's worth of it, u wont waste ur time Im very exicated about those series cuz Rozen Maiden is my first anime after I got addicted to anime. @<rozen maiden> story of my anime life lol I was very bored in november 2012 and I found screen with girl with bi-colorued eyes (suiseiseki) I thought "what the hell is that? anime? I must check it" after searching in the internet I found lot of desu desu and I was more like "WTF?" finnaly I found title and I decided to go straight to the ending but I found OVA instated of it and again I was "wtf...?" so I decided to watch whole series. After watching whole series I thought "wow this fairy tale for kids was great but why the hell this havent ending!?" Next day I started to search for seqel or something, sadly I found it havent any sequel I was very disapointed... BUT THE NEXT DAY... On MAL apeared news announcing new series of Rozen Maiden. I think god or something has fulfilled my wish It was like miracle. I thought again "But... till it will apear it will take lot of time what I will do in this time?" you know what ^^ and that's how I get adicted to anime. |

| This trailer only further fuels my suspicions that DEEN will somehow screw up the first part of the manga. Why are they showing scenes from both the first part and Tales in the same trailer? Tales only begin from volume 9. I suspect that they'll either throw the "unwound" world in from the beginning(less likely), or compress the first part into a 2-3 episodes long recap. The first part of the manga has some significant differences compared to the old anime. So I want a proper remake of it and not something half-assed. |

In 2008, Peach-Pit started a new Rozen Maiden manga in which Jun never met Shinku and went on to college. This anime is based on that series, it's not a remake at all. |

| In the first trailer they showed things as they are in the first manga, not as they are in the old anime. Examples: So I guess they'll somehow cover the first manga as well. |

| Ok for those who have not read the manga series but have seen the anime let me do some explanation by showing evidance how this would be a reboot aka remake and not a sequel or midquel. Ok first both manga series are connected meaning that the second manga series is actually a sequel to the first manga series. If somebody out there has read the manga series as well and seen the PVs u can clearly see how my evidence fits into this and for the rest who haven't try to read the both manga series up to the current chapter before the new series airs. trust me it will be worth it . |
