| Coming from someone who hasn't played the game, This anime is very appealing right off the bat. The story and art has already got me hooked. The music isn't bad, and the voice actors are great, Love me some Kamiya, Hiroshi. So if you are looking for a reason to watch this, just watch it... it's good. |
| This looks promising. While the winter season looked pretty average, this season is getting off to a pretty good start with Devil Survivor 2. |

| Wow, HiroC and Nobu are friends. OP... The style is like an OP usually used in a game. ED is depressing, but cool. Wow, it's like advertising of making people getting summon demons. And HiroC's character summoning big monster, that's why DLing takes very long time. And Sakurai-san voicing a character that looks like a antagonist, again. |

| There are a lot of good shows that are supposed to come out this season, so I'm not sure how this will end up compared to everything else, but it's certainly a good start. One point I'd initially forgotten though that I'm going to point out: What Happened "OMG, it has a video of us being crushed and killed by a train" "Well that was weird, oh look, that tunnel in the video is the one here!" "That's kinda weird....." *sound of approaching train* "Yeh that really is freaky....." "urm, do you want to leave?" "Yeh... okay" *They're too late, earthquake occurs and they're crushed by train" What should have happened "OMG, it has a video of us being crushed and killed by a train" "Urm, aren't we in that tunnel now?..............." "...... FUCKING RUN DAMN IT" *they run away, avoiding calamity* |

| Awesome OP and ED. I never played the second game but I have the first and really enjoyed it. Probably the best first episode of anything I've watched so far this season. |
| Best part of this so far was the Op and Ed char designs are nice too,show seems like it could be great but if it suffers the same fate P4 did it will end up still being alright but you'll still want to play the games for better pacing and such. Since it's "survivors" i'm interested in seeing makes it to the end |

| This was good but rushed, and as having played the game couple of the changes here really annoyed me. Like Daichi's truck driving was made to look completely worthless while in the game this was reason Hibiki, Io, and Joe were able to beat that thing, they completely left out Joe's appearance which also annoyed me a bit, and the entire episode made it feel the series was gonna be one of those "Main character came into great power for no reason and does stuff with it" when he summoned a Byakko and everybody became interested in him....it felt ridiculous, none of this happened in the game and in the game their victory felt more reasonable. Though overall 3.5/5 I laughed at Hibiki having 64399 Macca....must be new game+ , in retrospect that would explain Hibiki summoning Byakko so early LOL. |

| Looking good so far, I've played the game and I don't care much that they didn't introduce Joe after the subway accident, The anime series can't be exactly like the game guys lol, This is 100% a keeper this season! 5/5 |

| Well, that was an explosive first episode. Since I have read the manga, I pretty much know how much different the first episode will be compare to the game. I am not even mad. I hope the animation stay this great until the last episode. I like the ED, the OP not so much but it may grow in me. |

| Yes! Its finally here!!!!!!! Was really pump up for this anime. Big fan of the MegaTen franchise and play the game like crazy. So far my expectations have been meet , though the 1st day felt extremely rush. I mean there was no Joe (then again Joe wasn't my favorite character till my 3rd run-through of the game...) And also: Other than that, its all good with me. The animation is spot on , though I feel like the character designs are a little different or I'm just blind. Voice actors are currently spot with capturing their characters effectively. My favorite part of the game are the character interactions and their doing an excellent job handling it. Just going to have to get use the MC voice =3= Music score: Plain-bad ass. Specially, the OP and ED. Can't wait to see moar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Now that was an awesome first episode! I haven't played Devil Survivor 2 myself (I really should have, gah!) but I really like the main concept of Nicaea app and demon summoning app. I absolutely love the animation and CG of the demons. Nitta's demon is so beast while Daichi's is puny. xD Owow Hibiki's demon is a Byakko which looks so cool. The OST fits really well with the action, OP is alright but I like the ED more. :D Definitely looking forward to more of Devil Survivor 2. :) |

| I'm not entirely hooked on the characters yet. I didn't find them appealing, especially the main character which I think feels odd when paired with Kamiya's voice. I feel exhausted when hearing Sakurai, Takahiro voicing another light-haired sly-looking guy too but that's just me. The summons didn't feel very powerful or memorable so far either but its no doubt that they will have plenty of screentime to impress viewers later on. Not liking the OP song but the flow of it, with the introduction of the characters, was great. Instantly loved the ED however, I have a feeling I could watch that many times and still enjoy it. |

| The best first episode so far The art and animation was really well done, I love the action scenes The premise is promising and the MC is pretty cool, I like him ending and opening are pretty good Enjoyed it a lot, imo way better than persona 4 Will the other three gods appear? because if there is Byakko, I expect the other three to appear as well |
| Everything about this first episode already feels way more professional than Persona 4 The Animation, the direction, the pacing, the music placement and the soundtrack is damn good. Sleeper hit of the season for me if it keeps up. |

| IMO following the source material closely doesn't mean a good anime and I felt that some changes in the anime made sense, considering this is only 13 episodes for a supposed As for Byakko being summoned and the Macca it might be that Or just an artistic liberty considering nobody really wants to watch hibiki grinding and fusing. With that said, I think they should have kept the way the trio defeated Dubhe the same. They literally lose nothing if they followed that. It even redeemed Daichi in my eyes. I don't really have high hopes for this considering I thought the game plot was mediocre, at least compared to Desu1, but the first episode is engaging. Hope they execute it well until the end. |

| First episode was really awesome, loved the OP. There just seems to be a much more steady direction for Devil Survivor 2 compared to Persona 4, that doesn't seem to alienated the normal audience(non-game fans). I hope that keeps up with the coming episodes. Looks like I'll be listening to Hakaze's VA for another season. And as a Honey and Clover fan, it was pure delight listening to Takemoto's VA after a long time. |

P4A had to incorporate social links (how you level up your persona besides grinding) into the main story to show that the power of friendship is important. No, admittedly it didn't focus on the murder case every episode but it made sure to keep the funny parts and side developments of the game which most of the fans wanted to see. The way its going now DS2 will undoubtedly be rushed unless it has more than 13 episodes. Nevertheless it can still be a good adaptation episode one was okay and they are handling the demon fights well. |
