| Looks really nice for a first episode. Liked OP and ED a lot and the three main characters seem okay. I really like it more when Kamiya Hiroshi voices nice characters, reminds me of Natsume. And wtf, the girl wasn't really useless lol, okay well the avatars didn the work though, but at least they only exist because of her :P xD I don't know the game and I probably never will, so I guess I'll just keep watching anime and leave it at that. One of the handsome characters in this show share my friggin birthday, yay, how long I've waited for this orz Oh my god, I sense tension building up with each episode, Hibiki steals the girl's heart and Daichi probably will be angry *nodnod* I hate stuff like that *headesk* |

| Thinking on it, what direction will this be going in? More into the pure action, or will it delve into mystery and horror as well? Well, I don't think there will be much horror though, which in a way is a disappointment. |

| awesome concept with demon protectors and the app showing you how you die made for a good plot to the first episode. but wtf was going on with that possessed ice cream cone spurting out bombs, the cgi looked shit. i'll keep watching though. |

zakkun89 said: That's actually the first thing I LOL'ed at... cuz I don't recall him actually wearing the hood on his head in the game and always thought they were antennae like the hero of the first Devil Survivor's headphones.I'm surprise no one comment on the rabbit hood yet... /that aside though as someone who's played (but hasn't had the time to beat) the game I have to say I applaud them with their attempts at making Hibiki actually "stand out" in the anime with showing how his "demon summoning app" had a delayed download (and here I was going "LOL, is his wireless speed THAT BAD" ) but then ended up summoning badass Byakko Cuz in the game, there is way more development on the "first day" for Io & Daichi and....they actually stood out more for me (in the game) compared to Hibiki. But so yeah, this ep crammed & rushed quite alot if you compare it to the game.....but it's not a bad adaptation so far despite that. |

I personally cannot be impressed by boob physics since I saw Highschool of the Dead. Those bullet dodging boob physics were so grandiose that I fear I shall never see anything that compares to that again. |

| Wow the whole thing was intense! The bgm was pretty awesome and went along nicely with the battle scene and and the animation was beautiful, I love all the colors and explosions. The OP and ED were also really well done, it's rare for me to like both the OP and ED of an anime X) |
| What can I say I loved this first episode. I never played the game but I must say the anime makes me want to. Great GCI though there was some WTF moments like the ice cream and the demon. I liked the OP and ED. |

| It was nice but they should stick a bit more to the game, I played it and I loved it so I didn't like that they rushed the first day and missed important points, but they gotta fit everything into 13 chapters (wild guess) so it makes sense but it's disappointing. I wonder how they'll introduce Joe now that they skipped him <_< I didn't like the op/ed songs but I did like the animation. Despite the rushing I'm looking forward to it, I hope they don't ruin it but my beloved Yamato makes up for any fault <3 |

| Loving this already. I've played the first one on the DS and the 3DS version. And I played second one on the DS and planning on getting the 3DS version when it's localized to the US. I fell in love with this series when I played the first game. The first episode was well-done, the animation looks great, the OP and ED are awesome, a bit nit-picky with Hibiki's voice but it's still good, etc. In the opening, I recognized some of the character poses on this: And the bunny girl AI, Tiko, keeps her signature pose: The only bad thing I have with this is Joe not appearing earlier, but that's it. Nothing too serious. 5/5 Edit: Can't wait for the Anguished One's/Al Saiduq's appearance and I hope the anime adaption will go with the Anguished One's/Al Saiduq's ending. |

| Great first episode! loved both the OP and the ED,really liked that its more "action" vase that Persona 4 and kinda like that! The story seems interesting and the characters so far pretty good! also the summon and the battle was fun to watch! Great start! continue to watch no doubt and i want to play the game now -.- |
| I knew it was gonna be cut down a lot to fit in the allotted time, but damn it's still so good...I squealed like a crazy fan-girl. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a bit more graphic than all the other previous animated SMT titles, since they showed demons eating people, and a demon's head being lopped clean off in the first episode. |
