| This was a good episode and set up everything nicely to head into the finale. The only problem I have with the rivals coming in (Megu tan and Kai) is that there isn't really any suspense involved. You have this storyline building up in the same episode where Yamato meets Mei's mom. The whole scene at Mei's house was really good and it showed that Yamato understands Mei at a deeper level. It also helped to solidify their relationship after the drama that went along with Yamato becoming a model. After putting them in a great place it's hard to imagine either of them falling for another person or even thinking that someone else would be the better choice. I'm hoping they go more down the route of helping to bring Megu tan and Kai to a better place in their own lives instead of building up tension in Yamato and Mei's relationship. |

| Woah.. Nice episode^^ I feel like that girl who follows Megumi is going to do something to Mei.. -.- Also, Kai is one straightforward guy.. Wonder what's gonna happen now.. I feel that there's going to be drama >_< I sure hope that the show doesn't mess up the story given how short that this series is going to be; currently it's stated that there's only going to be 13 episodes at the moment.. Hope they extend the.. deadline (?) per se. I actually haven't read the manga but I do hear that it's on-going and it's gotten quite far with the plot; hope the anime doesn't get ruined by how limited episodes there is left! >_< |

| sweet, yamato finally doing the right thing: REJECT THAT MEGU BITCH RIGHT IN HER FACE!!! still really annoying how she's pretending to be friends with asami and whatnot, probably to spite mei -_-" but still, yamato needs to take it WAAAY slower. poor mei is still innocent, and it definitely didnt seem like she was "ready" funny how the mom came in to cockblock right at perfect moment, but pretty touching to watch her tearing up now that mei has others who care about her :') and also, i think kai shouldve KNOCKED that guy THE FUCK OUT. that cigarette burn... ouch >.< and now yamato has a love rival, interesting. should be a very good reason for him to stop fucking up like he has been in the previous episodes |

| I really enjoyed this episode. The love rivals seem to come out of nowhere but without them there probably wouldn't be much of a show. I haven't read the manga so I'm excited to see how this turns out with 4 more episodes. |

 About 21.40 minutes to the 9th episode of both series basically the same thing happens. Is this just coincidence or a normal thing to hapen in romanse anime. XD But I really enjoy watching thes two series. |
| I was trying to read some of the chapters from the manga and then watch the episodes as they come out, but the anime is too fast, so i'll wait until the episode comes out and then read manga up to that point. | It will be interesting to see the differences between Tonari and Sukitte moving forward. Although they both ended with another person declaring their like for the main girl, the status of the two relationships between the main characters are really different. In Sukitte, Mei and Yamato have been going out for awhile now and have come to a pretty good place in their relationship compared to where they were before. The plausibility of Kai having a big effect on their relationship seems close to 0 if not 0. Where as in Tonari, Shizuku and Haru are never on the same page and not even in an actual relationship. In this case it seems almost certain that Yamaguchi will have a big impact on Shizuku and could be argued that he works better for Shizuku in her current state. |

| That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. lol at Mei being cliche and saying revenge doesn't solve anything. Nobody ever carries out revenge to "solve" things, so obviously it won't solve anything. The point of revenge is to get that satisfaction and there isn't anything wrong with it. |

| I didn't expect Kai to become a problem this quick if he was a problem at all. It didn't feel rushed though, but it did feel shallow. The part with Mei's mother was done really well, kudos for that. |

| wow a lot going off this episode: 1) megumi is just more of a bitch, and can see her doing something horrible in the next few episodes 2) bedroom scene was quite hot actually, her innocence and shyness makes it better and I don't know why, but even when mum interrupted it was really nice of Yamato to say what he did, shows he has respect 3) Kai.. well, can see where he is coming from with the bullying but like Mei said to him, what does him bullying them do for him, makes him just as bad... wasn't expecting that revelation at the end though D: next few episodes should be interesting to say the least xD |

| Of course, he likes Mei, what else could he be here for? I'm actually suprised Asami and her boyfriend (can't remember the name) aren't falling for Yamato and Mei... Megumi is planning something. I hope she won't dare to hurt Mei in any way. Kai is weird, he isn't necessarily a bad character, it's just that he is a lot like Megumi, just thrown in here so he can try to ruin their relationship. I'm looking forward to Yamato telling him to gtfo and save his love. I actually have a feeling Megumi and Kai might either plan something together or that they will somehow end up together. I really liked how Yamato talked about Mei with her mother, it was pretty nice of him and it was a cute scene. I also liked the scene before that. It was too predictable that nothing will happen though :) But that moment when Mei's mother came in was priceless :D "Oh hai...I can explain. It's not like I'm a creepy stalker like Edward from Twilight who (while being shirtless) enjoys watching girls sleep. I mean why would this apprear to be something like that? :S" |

| 4/5 Episode that takes advantage of the classic romantic comedy plot sweethearts calm and pure and chaste, so little inclined to fuss! Ah! What a joy to see them! : D Narrative that it also follows the same guidelines, closing a bow and inizando the boy who rickshaw to lose the girl to the fault of another. Well! I am intrigued to know more now as it will move Megu-tan or hers! Uh! Uh! Uh! XD Design and scenography sufficient animations on the same plane. Quiet colors, fit for purpose! |

| Thank goodness for Kai. I couldn't take this kumbaya fluff anymore. But just like School Days, things only start cooking in the final two or three episodes. That's a shame. Although I think Yamato's morals are great, his goody-goody ways are a bore. I'm hoping that, Kai's presence will bring forth other, more exciting aspects of his personality and everyone else's. What happened to Aiko? Mei told her off and the one character who seemed to have any spunk is suddenly lame. Ugh! |
