But man was the last page creepy O_O Can anyone explain what the message in the last panel means I actually want to doubt that the PT would do sth that cruel esp without a reason...they're personalities don't seem to be like that. But well it's been confirmed already so... |

| That scene where he kicked their asses was epic. I also don't want to believe that the PT did such thing. Maybe it was because of the former number 4 that they killed them because they say in the movie description ''Kurapika continues to pursue the Phantom Troupe but an unknown party has stolen his "scarlet eyes". With the help of Gon, Killua and Leorio, Kurapika' s life was saved. However, the Phantom Troupe shows up before them and blocks their way. The true identity of the one with the No.4 spider tattoo is about to be unveiled. '' Or it can be that unknown party that they speak of. |
| There is a possibility that only certain members were involved, but I'd have to go through the Yorkshin arc again to remind myself who actually said what. Most of them seemed to have trouble remembering it. |

I believe Uvogin must have involved in the massacre, cuz I remember during their fight that Uvogin finally recalled who Kurata clan is, and he told Kurapika how he killed them all. With no conscience. Uvogin always pairing with Nobunaga, so Nobunaga might be responsible for the beheading. Remember that man with the dog? | Myself, who loves Hunter X Hunter passionately in general, disliked this series. Kurapika is just boring. And even the last page didn't excite me. Just plain text of "They had been stabbed before being beheaded". Am I the only one that remembers when Togashi was actually epic with his horror? When the Genei Ryodan massacred the whole mafia world? Honestly, just meh. P.S. And why would only a few members be present there? That's what defines the Genei Ryodan, guys. Their ruthlessness. I don't even know how one can be surprised by what they did. |
| Could it also be a bit of Kurapikas fault that the clan got attacked? Because with hiss eye turning red in town, it gave away that the clan must be nearby and since they kept it a secret, the clan didn't move from the area in time, as it was mentioned in the first chapter that they usually do. |

Hisoka also explained that the Spiders are a group but they don't always work together so it's likely that only some of them were involved in the massacre. Although the boss wanting the eyes doesn't mean he'd have to go. He'd just have to let them know to get all the eyes in tact. Uvo was there and he's typically paired with Nobunaga. Although I've seen them work, it just seems too brutal. Massacring a tribe is one thing but leaving merciless wounds on the children. I remember Feitan specializes in torture so he may have went and Phinks is his partner, too. Nobunaga probably did a lot of the beheading, Uvo and Phinks probably killed the nonpurebloods and Feitan likely tortured the kids. |

| Good stuff. I probably enjoyed chapter 1 more but I liked this one too. Definitely prefer the manga version instead of the Phantom Rouge version (which is basically just this chapter if I recall correctly). Kinda hope Sheila comes back up in the story later. I doubt it but it'd be nice. Though, I'd just love for Togashi to come back to Kurapika's story & that still doesn't seem like it's happening. |
| So, he wasn't anywhere near the tribe when they were killed. That makes sense, because I always wondered how he would have survived. I always love when Kurapika's eyes turn scarlett, btw. One of the most iconic images in the series, imo. |

| To see an energic young Kurapika and his motivations and to have a pick on the Clan's life was interesting.The drawings were very average, if not pretty bad. 4/5 6/10 |

| Given that this special manga is mostly from Kurapika's perspective, it's logical that he could only pick up the news. He doesn't know who the Spiders were and how the event actually occured. Beheading maybe Nobunaga's thing, but so does Feitan, whose also one of the original members. Shizuku was probably not a member yet, since she and Hisoka joined the troupe within three years prior to Yorkshin City arc. |
| So Kurapika passed the test and went out to tour the world... Why was it reported that a female traveler who got lost in the woods made the discovery? Did Sheila come back to search for Kurapika and found out that everyone was dead? Or was it some random female traveler? That's odd. I hope Sheila makes an appearance in the main story...someday. |
