What do you like best about Yuru Yuri?
| Heartwarming moments! They are not as often but are rewarding - like telling Akari that she didn't hurt real snake or her talk with Akane. Season 1 had also it's share with Yui and Kyouko. It's not the best comedy (this title goes to Azumanga) but I like it's climate and characters. So a good combination that made me wait for next episode and that's not too often :) |

| I watch for Kyouko. The comedy gets fairly repetitive. The yuri could be better. Oh and Chinatsu could have never existed. |
| At first, it was definitely the comedy which got me staying especially with Kyouko in season 1 (Don't yell at me for that RLinksoul ;<) and I felt season 1 had more funny randomness which IMO, find really entertaining. Though as I started watching more of it the characters definitely got into the favorites list too since they all have different and unique personalities and traits and such. Variety is a plus. Oh yes, and I love SoL in general so for me it's a "why turn it down right?". And moe's usually nice to have as well. But in the end, I'd probably say the characters made it to my #1 like of this anime since I felt the comedy kinda went down a bit in the 2nd season IMO. And as some people have said in the episode discussions, the character development has definitely improved and it was definitely nice to see others for a change. |

| Kyouko-senpai~! And the rest of the characters are awesome as well, reminds me of wilder Hidamari Sketch. I think the comedy is a direct result of the characters' interactions and wackiness. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

A show doesn't necessarily need to have canonical couples in order for it to be or have yuri. Yuri is obviously central in the show, you even gave examples. But I really think you sell the yuri short, it is absolutely not just the twin's fantasies. The yuri is there and abundant. The author's intention should also be taken into account. Outside of Yuru Yuri, most of Namori's work includes full blown, canonical yuri relationships. She could be accurately described as a yuri mangaka. She didn't name it Yuru Yuri just because. Instead of assuming that they AREN'T lesbian, we should assume that they ARE lesbian, until told otherwise. |
