| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Saitou-san is willing to do what Hijikata-san doesn't want to do. Saitou-san is remembering when he first came and the reason he's willing to do it. As expected by Hijikata-san, everyone's thinking bad about them. The main guy experienced practice of sword skill by Saitou-san, going out by Harada-san, and drinking with the green bandana guy, who doesn't totally dislike the mean leader. Everyone says he's lucky to be saved. The mean leader doesn't pay when going to the place to drink to extend that a woman came to get the money?! |

| Hajime's past... I can't believe that he wasn't accepted in the other dojos just because he holds the katanas with the left hand. It was so cute when Toshizou and the others accepted him. Hajime teaching Ryuunosuke kenjutsu was the best! So sweet. Ryuunosuke is funny as always. Sanosuke was so nice when he helped Ryuunosuke skip Hajime's lessons. For the first time I saw a cute side from Shinpachi *-* I wonder what happened to the woman who went to get the money from Serizawa... Hope Ryuunosuke can meet Kosuzu again. |
| It was nice seeing a little of Saito's backstory. :) I didn't know being left-handed in Japan during those times was considered bad like in other cultures. And I had really thought Ryuunosuke did know how to use the sword beforehand. But with the way he had trouble with basic training I guess that's not true. |

| Up until now Ryunosuke was standing for the female character of the story, because he was totally useless and unable to defend himself. I hope he'll change for real, because I cant stand him. |
