Kio has been captured and Gundam AGE-3 has been stolen by the Vagan, the red hair girl captain is getting annoying because of her indecisiveness but she is still as moe as ever, lots of family drama between Yunoa and Asemu and Flit over rescuing Kio, next episode Kio will see the life of the Vagans on Mars

Dang, we saw the Bisidians Cew for a moment, and their less pirate looking than I thought Dx

Flit becoming a person with.... feelings other than revenge? OH. MY. GOD.

Btw that scene were Flit and Asemu glared at each other. Asemu still wants recognition from him...

Aside from the family drama, Kio is starting to annoy me for some reason. Also that indecisiveness of the captain is annoying me as well, I still think they should have shot the photon blaster at the enemy cause if they get their hands on the Age3 technology then it might as well be the end of Earth though its pretty obvious they will get the technology from the recent scans.

Also its nice to see Asemu being a bit "normal" rather than a Darth Vadar-like person

Wow, this was a pretty gay episode. I mean, so many things were forced for the sake of plot.... Age 3 could have seperated into core fighter mode before he could get captured....Kio did that once in the desert so why can't he do it again? Lame. Character developement, Lame. Wow, this episode has made it clear that Gundam Age is the worst "mothership title" gundam series. This episode made me facepalmed so much..... very disappointing

Kio was being reckless and focusing in saving Flit
plus Kio didnt notice the fat douchebag commander is up close to him after the he lost the AGE 3 left arm

I think they are approaching each other quite well.

But hey, at least we will get some drama with "Vegans are humans after all too!" revelations from Kio's journey on Mars colonies. It's better than the current "Kill all Vegan scums".

Also, Kio is still a kid. Of course he's scared.

This is just unfair.

I mean I guess it's official then. Kio asuno with AGE-2 orbital wasn't good enough to fight Vagan Commander until he's been captured for good. What was that all about?! I should've blamed Rody because of this. God, the IRONY!

"Rody, you're AGE-3 orbital was NOT even strong enough to fight, now look what happened?!"

Damn it, I can't believe that I just felt emotional because of this anyway. I wonder what's gonna happen next on ep37?! Will Asem asuno I mean Captain Ash will save him in time?

I'm not gonna rest till I'm gonna find out soon enough!

Whatever. I just can't believe from what I just saw what happened till it left me speechless. Oh, the Irony.... :(

It's over for Kio Asuno.

So much for the debut of AGE-3 Orbital. We'll know what's coming:-

Seems to me that Elzecant's wife will find Kio as a child figure judging by the preview scenes. I'm having some feelings regarding what might happen on the next two episodes, there were three possible instances on how Kio would return to Diva.

1. Elzecant will pull a Full-Frontal on Kio by inspecting the AGE-3 to develop a blueprint for a Gundam made in Mars and let him escape afterwards
2. Zeheart might decide to take Kio back to Diva after completing their reverse engineering on the AGE-3
3. Asem might also arrive in Vagan and plot his son's escape, but Vagan will still have their own gundam blueprint ready for future production.

He is just a kid and don't have much experience with the Gundam yet so its far too soon to say he is the worst.

Zeheart on the other hand he may be sexy, but he pretty much gets his ass handed to him every mission he is in. xD

5/5 for me cause I loved the character development and I knew Asemu would be the one to rescue Kio since his father's Gundam got beaten up pretty badly in battle.

Well Captain Ainus being indecisive was irritating though her hesitation was somehow understandable from a tactical point of view. Sounds ironic eh?

Not a great episode but not a bad one either. Nice to see Zeheart scoring some points with Fram too.

Can't wait for Super Parent Pirate Pilot Asem Asuno to go kick some Vagan ass and save his child.

You know what, I blamed the scriptwriter because of this.

I mean Kio Asuno has shown that he can evade being captured during the desert Arc when he disengaged the G-cepter and the Core fighter, and his X-rounder power typically kicks in when he is in a tight situation, all of that was scrapped by the writer in order to forcibly justify his capture. Also if Orbital could evade Zeheart's beam spam, then it'll be a no-brainer to say that he can also evade that fat and ugly MS that captured him.

Damn, I still couldn't forget about what happened in EP36. It's a miracle I can tell you. #sarcasm

theres a difference between the desert fight and the space fight...

Kio has the time AND distance to be able to dodge the Phantom 3 3 way attack

now we have Kio getting hit by the Beam Cannon

then got blown away

while Kio recovers from the shock the enemy is already up close to him before he has time to react

this line in particular made me lol cause it is not true for most of the series except for one: "there are more ways to fight then just beams and swords". at seeinging that i was like : yeah tell tht to G they dont need guns or swords they will beat the crud out of you with their bare hands.

If only Flit Asuno's AGE-1 was not super outdated, he would have destroyed everyone.
He's still a fucking boss for lasting so well.

Wow, people just want to bash and hate on things for no reasons. Kio really couldn't do a thing. Not because he sucks, but because his enemies were too strong. But I guess, people want their main character to be overpowered. And what's with the hate for Anus? Isn't it good to have an inexperienced captain for once? We already saw her development in this episode, as she hesitated. She'll probably become a badass captain later (I hope).

Flit's reaction?! It is almost cute, how he tries to justify it with the big Gundam loss etc... or does he really think like that and is still on full revenge mode, having no interest in his grandchild apart from his weapon role?

Unpopular opinion : I think it's more interesting to have the Gundam captured in this episode. It subverts the expectation that the plucky kid hero will always be able to pull through, it undermines the whole "Gundam gets another Super Ultra Mega Death Ray upgrade and becomes invincible" shtick this series has adhered to fervently so far, it actually forces ALL the members of the cast to make difficult decisions for which there are not "loljustdoit" type glib answers and actually attempt to develop them somewhat. It shows Flit's care for his grandson, but also his rage and inability to accept his own limitations by this point in his life.
It shows that Best Name Einus' inexperience really is a genuine issue on the battlefield but also lets her develop by not obeying Flit's dangerous orders unquestioningly. It makes Asemu actually re-enter the story, have a genuinely impactful and tense exchange with Flit, and more credibly show how his character has matured with age than in his first apperance. It makes Seric mostly continue to be a less-well-rounded version of the infallible Woolf (although I could more charitably call him a knockoff of Max Jenius from Macross), and it makes Zehart and ape-man Zanald infight a bit. It also makes the bland charismaless Wendy, the children, and the annoying Madorna woman take up valuable minutes of screen time and completely undermine the actually fairly decent head of dramatic tension that had been built up, and if the Vagans manage to zap them all to death in the name of cheap drama I will be most "surprised".
Also, both Natorla and Fram are super-moe in this episode. Natorla gets some much-needed encouragement from Seric (I ship them so hard, although if it actually happens it will end up being a more unequal version of Murrue Ramius X Mu La Flaga from Seed) after being chewed out by Flit. Fram actually displays some care for Zehart (again, major shipping lane opening here now that he's lost out on Romary, although he probably dodged a bullet there) and even does a very Terran Empire style Roman salute twice!! I wanna give her a hug and pet her twintails so bad...
Anyway onto obligatory "MC is captured by baddies, meets GF on enemy team and develops magic powers of UNDERSTANDING" plot arc. Anyone wanna place your bets on whether or not there will be an obvious Lacus clone?

Poor kio, he is only a kid and he is truly scared, being captured by the enemies surely will leave a scar.
I liked the fact that Asemu is rushing to save him, I'm curious to see the next episodes.
