Um, does any of this make sense? There seems to be no reason why all this fighting is going on. Either I'm confused or the plot has become illogical.

Anyway, I don't know why, but I'm starting to just...not really care anymore. I hope this series finishes up strong because it doesn't feel like it's gotten better since episode 18 or so. The next episode has some great potential though.

Now we just hope Super-Mega-Mysterious-Hakuoro-Beast comes in and saves the day.
Next episode seems quite interesting. :D

Well, the people of Kunnekamun were tired of getting raided, killed and persecuted. So they all wanted to conquer all of the world , so they could live in peace. And the options of Kuen & Hakuenka were to Unify or to Conquer the world.

I think the plot has just become illogical. The Kunnekamun showed those who were prosecuting them who was really in power, and now they're just going ballistic. Kind of non-nonsensical. Surprised Kuuya was a poor enough leader to allow it all to unfold this way.

Unfortunately, I have to agree... We still don't know Hakuoro's full history, nor does there seem to be an explanation for Kamyu's weird behaviour or black wings. The next episode does look like it has some good drama in it... but I'm not hoping or expecting too much at this point.

This Kuuya queen is just stupid wench, geting manipulated by her own servants.
The black winged angel girl turning into vampire still not explained. Hakuoro' s past also unexplained. Evil angel guy that killed all other angels when they just tried to defend themselfes - also unexplained. I dont like where this is going.
My rating: episodes 1-18 8,5/10. 18-21 5/10

Considering their power it was stupid that those idiots continue trying to attack them. So i can only assume that that Angel guy was behind the attacks to force the situation.

The silver hair girl/boy Hakuenka in her mecha is more annoying than Niwe with her laugh...

I'm not finished this episode yet but I hope Hakuoro will invade their country.
A Queen who can't make choice herself and been control by her servant should die.

Gosh that queen is easily manipulated and plain stupid, I feel sorry for Genjimaru having to put up with her. All this fighting again could have been easily avoided

I don't believe how Kuuya let herself be manipulated so easily. It's like all those nights with Hakuoro were pointless
That Hakuenka guy is so damn annoying, can't wait to see him get wrecked.

What people seem to struggle to understand is how she was both being manipulated over time, but also, she felt a strong, sense of duty to defend her people. Even if the attack was pushed back for now, who knows when the next nation will attack, and their own defense, their soldiers will not always be able to repel them before civilian casualties take root. Again and again they've been attacked, most likely it being excused with holy war, but also in an attempt to win and seize their technology for themselves.

The queen let herself be swayed by the cries of those whom wish to never be attacked again, as they have been again and again and again and again. To finally free the world from the chaos of constant warfare.

At this point in the anime, it's clear that she doesn't really have a choice, to the point where if she did keep stopping her own country from trying to unify the lands, she'd sooner or later face several uprisings of people whom were tired of having their families become collateral damage in what must feel like constant bloodshed.

They're not conquering other nations though, they're massacring them. Slight difference.

You don't think they will face uprisings in the countries they're conquering, seeing how every single on of them follows a different religion?

Pleased pay more Attention to the Plot before you say Something Like that. Kunekamun got attacked TWICE. After the First Attack they decided to solidify their borders and Just after that they got attacked again by two Allied nations again that probably thought that the defeat of the First Attacker was just dumb luck.
The people that lost their Life to those Allied nations begged their Queen to dominante the world now, since they get attacked so Orten, and the Abu kamus arent everywhere, so ofcourse you Always lose people when some barbaric Shit countrys that probably think the mechas are a fairytale Attack you. After the Second war kunekamun Had enough and decided to Attack now. ITS Not about going "ballistic"

The spiky haired prick clearly sees himself as being fair and just, despite being just as open to wanton slaughter of peaceful villages and nations as the rest of them in the pursuit of an end goal. Ironically, this makes him more intolerable than Hauenkua, who at least drops the pretence of having some noble, altruistic intent in these invasions.
