| Oh, the tension! What's gonna happen now? I really am not sure... I wouldn't know what to do myself in that situation. Four chapters ago I would've said "kill the son of a bitch" without a moments hesitation, but now...Valentine really is a good talker. Let's hope we won't have to wait that long for new scanlations. | Hmm, how do I put it, I find it hard to believe that the author will just demote a major character like that. I mean, it IS Dio after all. Even in Stone Ocean, where he wasn't the main villain, he still had some influences. Here so far, he's more less just like any other of the opponents. |

| Sure, I kinda agree with you. I'd be the last person to not like Dio coming back. But first of all, he wasn't really a villain in SBR. Sure he might've started as one, but even then he was more the asshole-ish rival. And in the end he seemed more like one of the protagonists. Sure, he did it for his personal gain, but he did fight for the "right" side. But above all else: He was run over by a train and cut in half. He's as dead as one can be. So the only way for him to come back is, as described above, a different version of him. And why would Valentine ever do that? Well, gues we have no choice but to wait. (or read spoilers, but who wants that?) |
| With these situations, I always hope the protagonist doesn't fall for the trap, but in this case I'm hoping Johnny doesn't kill Valentine immediately. I'm convinced Valentine is trustworthy. |

| This is what makes Funny Valentine arguably the best Jojo villain. Funny’s views on patriotism is what drive him, everything he’s doing is for the sake of his country. I believe that he’ll always stick to his vows I love the moral ambuigty in this scenario where one could argue that Johnny’s actually the ‘bad guy’. That’s because Funny isn’t written as a villain, but as his own person who fully believes in what he’s doing is for the sake of his country. |

| Funny Valentine sounded very convincing, HOWEVER I think he as an ace up his sleeve to defeat Johnny and just needs Johnny to cancel his spin. Oh, and by the way - awesome cliffhanger! I liked those small icons emphasizing and depicting what Valentine was talking about. ;p |

| Wow, this was a really good chapter. Araki has built toward this dilemma with some finesse. Valentine's endless rotation throughout the dimensions was amazing, too. I'm glad I'm reading the black and white version. Araki's lines are first-rate. I don't know whether Johnny will take the deal, but I hope he realises that even if Valentine brings over a Gyro from another dimension, that's just depriving that world of its own Gyro, which potentially just steals away another Johnny's friend. Either way, Gyro somewhere is going to be dead. |

| Valentine was the good guy, he's a deep and complex character yes he killed but he's more a genuine good president than pretty much all of the presidents since LBJ. He cares about America and he honours his vows, he collects the corpse and does everything he does to help the nation to serve his father's union past the confederacy. A true hero. |
