So after searching around a bit I saw that the manga did indeed resume publication back in February, and while there was no chapter in last month's issue of Comp Ace, the official Twitter did say that there would be one for this month's issue... So I went and bought that.  The text on the second picturesays "There will soon be an announcement regarding the third volume, which Hibiki-fans have been waiting for. Look forward to it!" So there is hope. Though, unless some scanlation-group picks up the series, I'm not sure it would do most people here any good, seeing as how the company that released the first two volumes in English kinda doesn't exist any more. |
| Double-post, but since it's been almost a month and a half I figure it's okay, plus this is kinda-sorta-important in a sense of the word maybe. Volume 3's release-date will be announced next month. I remember all those years ago when I first found out that this series existed, and I bought the two volumes that were out in English, and though Wikipedia said back then that the series had recently resumed publication after a long hiatus, nothing else ever seemed to come of it. To think that the third volume is actually coming out soon... Oh, and the latest chapter published was chapter 19, and the two volumes released so far had six and five chapters respectively... So another chapter or two and we might actually be seeing a fourth volume before too long as well! |
